My counsellor was very helpful and understanding, fom the first session she made me feel at ease and explained things in a way they gave my existing outlooks a new and improved perspective. I now have tools in my toolbox to takle my anxieties; coping mechanisms i never had before. I would recommend.

I found my counsellor Patricia to be very kind and gentle in her approach. She listened deeply and reflected in a way that felt thoughtful rather than intrusive. I can find it difficult to talk about things that upset me, but she created a genuinely safe space where I could share at my own pace.

During a very challenging and transitional time in my life, her steady weekly presence gave me somewhere to bring my worries and feel heard. She is a very warm and compassionate person.

Personally, I would have benefited from a bit more structure or a clearer sense of what each session might focus on, as I tend to respond well to that.

Overall, I’m very grateful for her support and would recommend her to others looking for a calm and caring counsellor.

Accessing counselling was straightforward and welcoming, which made taking the first step much easier. The sessions have provided a safe, confidential space where I feel genuinely listened to and supported.

My counselor is empathetic and insightful, helping me develop greater self-awareness and practical ways to manage challenges.

I found the whole process to be very quick, smooth and easy. I was triaged within days and video calling with my counsellor within a week. This programme was supported by my company as an Employment Assistant Programme. It was free to me, and the counselling I received really helped me. I would recommend this company. Had I not got on with my first councillor I could have changed at anytime, which is a great feature.

I had a great counsellor Trevor, who made me feel at ease from the beginning, easy to speak to and very reassuring, kind and empowering. I only wish the sessions went on for at least 8 weeks as by week 4 you start thinking about it all ending.

When I approached MCL Medics to ask for counselling service, I was experiencing a very difficult situation at work which had direct impact on my mental health. The counsellor assigned to see me provided a safe space to make me feel comfortable to share my story. I received valuable advice and counselling that made be regain my strength

The counsellor was very respectful and put me at ease.
Have only ever had experience of NHS before and it was more about box ticking. This was completely different. I felt supported, listened to and encouraged to recognise my feelings.

The support I received from MCL Medics were fantastic. It was the first time in my life I had a dog die and was going through such a dark traumatic time. With their help and lovely support of one of their counsellors, I was able to to pick myself up and be me again. I can't thank them enough.
