Maev products were arriving at my house melted. Making for a terrible experience when they re-froze and it was time to feed my dog.

They updated their packaging process to make sure the food stayed frozen until I was able to put it into my freezer when I got home from work. It worked like a charm! No more gigantic bricks of frozen dog food!

Im pleased with how they were able to adjust their shipping process to accommodate my needs.

I placed an order for the frozen, raw dog food to be sent directly to my kennel for while I was on vacation. I placed the order on Monday. It said it would arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. On Friday I checked the website and it said it was still processing the order. So, I called. There was a very annoying message that ran every minute or so saying that you could leave a number for a callback if you didn't want to wait. Eventually, the message got so annoying that I left a message. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK!!! I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and I have no idea if and when the food will arrive. Even if it does, I have to go out and get different food because I have to make sure my dog is taken care of. So, at this point, it doesn't really matter. Really disappointing. This company seems really unreliable.

Von in customer service was responsive, patient, and helpful. I was struggling to make some changes through the website and I was afraid that I had bankrupted myself accidentally ordering enough food for several dozen dogs. Von helped me out of the maze.

Excellent products to customer service. My pups 🐶 are so so so happy with their products especially the bone broth cubes and snacks!!! They run when they hear the sound of the packaging!! And excuse me (their poops completely normalized with their probiotic snacks) even probiotic powders were not helping. Highly recommend this brand

Any concerns I may have, or changes on my delivery dates, or questions about the food, they get back to me within 24 hours with answers to my questions or concerns. The food is consistent and after trying so many different foods within the last 2 years it thrills me to see my dog excited to see his food again.

When I discovered MAEV back in 2023, I knew it would be a good decision for my pack. I have 4 full grown German Shepherds. Commercial dog food is practically poison if you read the labels, and I was struggling with keeping them on a clean raw diet (it's a lot of chopping!) So, I was thrilled to find a proper raw diet for them that could be delivered ready to go!

Fast forward more than two years now, and I must say that this has been THE BEST decision of my life. My dogs are thriving! My oldest, who turns 12 this month has truly aged backwards and she runs circles around the younger ones! They ALL have the best breath and shiniest of coats, and their "waste" always looks dark, healthy and uniform every time.

And the best part...? This company's customer service and support is honestly the best I have ever experienced. They are responsive and bend over backwards to take care of their customer.

THANK YOU to the founders of MAEV, for seeing a real need out here for our four-legged family members, and putting it all together for us!

UPDATE: After publishing my review (and this is the first one I’ve ever written), I went into the Trustpilot app and read all of the other reviews. That endeavor prompted me to edit and add something to my review, and this is what I will say…

Each and EVERY “negative review” that I read, spoke about receiving thawed or partially thawed out product.

Most complained about the “bloody mess,” some complained about the refreezing into a block, and a couple even had the audacity to claim that their dog would not eat it. (Ha! I called BS on that last one.) I would be willing bet my own life that there isn’t a dog alive who wouldn’t eat this food when it was thawed out! Mine love it when it’s thawed out! Are you kidding me?? Yes, it is messy. It’s raw meat for crying out loud. (So are steaks.) I know this happens occasionally, because it gets hot in Southern California and Sometimes the shipping company does not put enough dry ice in my boxes. But I can tell you this: MAEV always replaces whatever I ask them to replace. Now, personally, I always still use or re-freeze the thawed dog food because it doesn’t “go bad” if it thaws out in transit. It still always arrives cold. And I have never once even thought to ask for a refund. I would call that double dipping. And only greedy people do that.

This company is exceptional every way. And my dogs will be customers for the rest of their lives. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Stay blessed.

Always a great experience with maev with my dog he literally will beg and run to his pen when I bring the food out but their customer service is unmatched with any other dog food company ive dealt with :)

I called with an issue from my delivery. The gentleman I spoke to handle my issue promptly and made me feel very happy with using Maev. Unfortunately my delivery showed up late and thawed which was not Maevs issue, however the shipping company did not deliver on time. My issue was handled properly and I’m very happy.

All of my previous Maev orders have been delivered perfectly. However, my recent order was damaged during the shipping process (one of the bags split open and thawed). I reported this incident, and a Maev customer support representative, AJ, immediately replaced the order at no charge. AJ was responsive and thoughtful. Truly a delightful customer service experience.

My review below was premature because this morning, Maev’s Customer Care did the right thing and fixed the issue. I am thankful because my dogs love their product. I can put this behind us and support this company with confidence.

Original comment that was premature. This company and their insurance company play games with their service. Pointing fingers is the name of the game. Half the product is unusable and notified the “provider”. Provider notified the “insurance company” on day 15. Claim denied because “they are an insurance company that has rules”. They the second character steps in again. Oh what can we do to make you happy. Fix the issue and replace the junk you shipped. It is a circle of crap with this company. If you do buy from them report the issue and copy the crap insurance company to make certain you are cover. BTW the dogs love the food the company and its policies include customer contact are so far out of wack.

We have been using Maeve since the early days when the food was in individual cups like a meat smoothie for your dog. We have stuck with them all this time because a. Our dogs LOVE the food, b. The customer service has always been on point c. They reward you for buying dog food by giving you more dog food (for free!) d. And the packaging, because that’s what got me here in the first place. I’m so glad they have expanded and are shipping country wide now, as we are moving far far away and are so glad we can still get Maeve!
