I invested a small amount a year ago with MelbourneFX and was assigned an "Account Manager", Ron Silver, who guided me through some trades, making a modest profit over a couple of months. I was always concerned about whether I could withdraw from the account (ie. a scam) and asked that question of Ron Silver whenever he suggested that I deposit more from my superannuation. I pressured him to show me that withdrawals were possible, and he allowed me to withdraw the total amount of approx US$5,200, about twice what I had deposited. Feeling satisfied, I re-invested the total withdrawn a few days later.
As we continued trading, Ron "suggested" stocks and trading amounts that seemed unusual given the stock prices at the time and drove the account into "Margin Call" repeatedly. Ron would ask for more deposits to "protect" the trades. The initial investment was approx US$5,000 and rose to US$18,000 before I resisted depositing more. The account collapsed with US$70 left after a few days.
For the next 10 months I received calls from other "Account Managers" pressuring me to re-invest, suggesting that funds from my superannuation account would make more money than the super fund.
Although I am 69 years old, I still run my business which enabled me to recover from the loss. I again fell for the rhetoric that the earlier loss was my doing for not protecting the trades and deposited another US$7,500 with Adam Harry as the new "Account Manager".
After a few trades that didn't go well, I asked Adam to allow me to trade alone to see if I could recover the new trade losses. After a few weeks I had the account built to approx US$24,000 and put in a withdrawal request for US$4,000 of profit. Adam responded with a suggestion of maybe US$2,000 to leave enough for their AI trader to trade on Bitcoin. I held fast at the initial amount and asked to cease trading until the withdraw was complete so that margins would not obstruct the withdraw. The next day I saw that Adam had traded twice on silver and the account had reduced to around US$19,000. I canceled the trades and send him an email reiterating the no trades request and requesting approval of the withdraw. The reply was quite insulting and no approval was given.
Since then, I have received many calls from the call centres that they use but they ring only once and hang up. I have managed to catch a couple of these calls and have had only one picked up by their receptionist who assured me that Adam would call me shortly. No call was received.
My emails to Adam have now become a little more curse but still no calls from him. A little over a week ago I noticed that he had made two trades on Bitcoin of 20 units, one buy and one sell, and disabled trading on my account so that I could not close them. I emailed him again asking what was going on and he replied stating that he had been trying to call me to protect my account as the AI trader had placed these trades that needed protecting. I send back asking him to close the trades but to no avail. My account now has US$470 in it and should be completely drained by the trade's daily "Swaps" charge by the end of today.

Honestly, I never anticipated that reclaiming my funds would evolve into such a protracted and exasperating ordeal. Initially, everything seemed normal; but, upon attempting to make a withdrawal, complications arose. My request remained pending, and each time I called their support team, I received a new justification for the delay in processing.

Subsequently, they informed me that specific fees must be settled prior to the withdrawal being processed. Initially, I believed it was merely a component of their standard protocol, thus I remitted the requested cost. However, shortly thereafter, they returned requesting an additional payment. Subsequently, an additional charge allegedly required resolution.

The entire scenario became exceedingly exasperating. Despite my repeated requests for explicit information, the responses remained ambiguous, and the withdrawal process appeared stagnant. It genuinely seemed like an interminable cycle of justifications and further charges.

After expending an excessive amount of time attempting to resolve the issue independently, I ultimately resolved to seek assistance and contacted ᎷᎬᎡᎡᏆᏞᏞᏢᎪᎢᎻ. At that point, my expectations were somewhat diminished due to my prior experiences.

To my astonishment, their support exceeded my expectations much. They invested effort to comprehend the scenario and articulated the details clearly. Following the extensive misunderstanding and numerous solicitations for funds, it was a genuine relief to ultimately receive my meal.

Just spoke with Melbourne FX to be told that there is no money left in the account. When I looked in my account before I spoke with them there was $7,917.17 Trading and $10,597.29 Equity. I told them I wanted to close down the account and withdraw whatever money was there to be told that there was no money. My money has all of a sudden disappeared so PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!!!

Everything was great until I asked for some of my money back. I had doubled my original investment so felt confident is asking for some back. Was told that as my investment was so small I needed to carry on a bit longer and would get my money in two weeks. Now I'm no expert so I invested in what was suggested, after all it had worked before. A week later these investments had been closed and I had lost everything. I could only recoup by investing more....not a chance! DO NOT INVEST UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO LOSE IT ALL. Funny how my account made losses AFTER I had asked for some money back. This firm is unregulated in Australia, but the advisers are very persuasive. After my experience I wouldn't advise anyone to invest with them.

I’m sharing my experience to warn others before they lose everything like I did.

I invested over $11,000 USD through their platform based on lies and false promises made by their so-called “account manager” Alex Stein. He guaranteed large returns and claimed he would personally manage the risks and guide me every step of the way. I told him clearly that I was a single mother with limited financial means, and he used that to gain my trust and push me into investing.
On September 1st, 2025, my entire investment was wiped out during a market downturn. Not only did Alex give no warning or risk management advice—he ignored all my messages completely. I reached out several times during the crash, begging for help or guidance. Nothing. No response. No support.

After the loss, MelbourneFX went completely silent. I’ve sent multiple formal refund requests, and they’ve ignored every single one. They don’t respond, don’t acknowledge, and clearly don’t care. This is a company that preys on vulnerable people, makes big promises, takes your money, and disappears the moment things go wrong.

I have been trying to reach an account manager at this company for over a week now without success.
I started to write a log of my experiences which I will share once I've achieved my end goal.

Tried to close my account 3 months ago , i get told my manager will ring me , never happened, i just get promises. ring customer services call doesnt get answered! . i only have bad thoughts about this company!

All went well until I tried to withdraw funds; their website say withdrawals will be honoured within two days. I am still trying to access my funds after four months! I have given them notice that I now want to close my account, but am being met with stony silence. Seems like I'm not the only one.

It’s a scam.. don’t go for it! They will appear as the most reasonable person in the world to then disappear like ninja in the fog, and with them all your money.

This company is a Scam. When I realised I used their own greed against them by telling them I wanted to invest more money, but before I just wanted to make sure that my existing funds could be transferred back to my account. It was a long and convoluted process. Anyway, they were stupid enough to fall for it and I managed to get my money back. Ever since, I've received ongoing harassing phone calls from these cowards. It happens daily and always from a different, fake phone number. They're based in Cyprus, they're dodgy AF. Invest with a legitimate company and avoid these scammers.

Melbourne FX is a scam. I asked for a small amount of money from a trading account & the broker rang back to say I can not have it so I asked to cancel the account & give me all of it. No was his answer, I am not entitled to have my own money. Do NOT deal with this scam. If you want to trade then pick an honest company. An honest company does not mind you withdrawing your own money.

SCAM do not give these people anything.

AVOID!! A scam. You are assigned a so called "Account Manager" and you cannot do anything without them. They are quick to take your initial investment and then won't help when you want to withdraw. I requested a withdrawal 7 weeks ago which is still "pending". I have called and emailed on numerous occasions to ask for help and even request a different Account Manager or a Senior Manager, but surprise, surprise, you never get a call back.
I now believe this is a two-man band - hence no one getting back to me.

They will not stop ringing and harrasising me, i have told them i do not want any contact and then they get nasty and ring all hours of the day and will not take no.
They are off shore so use many different phone numbers. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

Anthony was handling my account. He is great in helping in every way I needed. I am not experienced one and thanks to Anthony I was able to get right trading on relatively small investment and make great (over 30% in 2 months) profit.

To be honest l don't know if MelbourneFX is a scam or a true trading platform. I have a account there it all started well. I was using the AI and l believe that works well but once my account got to $10,000 then it all went south. The Agent that was advising me suggested l sure invest in a stock that the minute we placed a trade it went south. Luckily or unluckily the account didn't bottom out. The was the agent's want to fix this is by want you to put more funds in. So l took his advice. The minute we took the sell off and by the agent the stock was ment to go up by the agent it turned around and I nearly lost all my funds. This happened another 2 times to the stage l no longer have any funds. Now the agent is still asking for money l don't have and when l said l don't have any he throw a tantrum and now won't help me to recover the account. I will leave it to you to decide it this is a scam platform or not. All l can say is I've lost everything due to MelbourneFX. My recommendation is to stay well away from this platform.

Since about the middle of February this year 2025, I've worked w David Miller at Melbourne FX & learnt how to trade w leverage on gold, oil, and particularly the NASDAQ 100.
As a beginner in leveraged trading, I am still overwhelmed by the complexities of these markets,

That is the key to preserving ones account & try as I can to remember how to do do it & fully understand it,

He emphasized the importance of position sizing relative to ones trading account, is what gives me confidence to trade responsibly.
David’s ability to be a broken record that repeats his lessons is welcomed for me to achieve a basic understanding, using real-world examples and market data to illustrate key concepts.
He is always approachable, answering my questions thoroughly & ensuring I grasped the mechanics of leverage before moving forward. Thanks to his guidance, I feel equipped to trade these markets w a foundation more solid in risk management & strategy than I could ever do if I was just on my own.
I highly recommend David Miller at Melbourne FX to anyone looking to master leveraged trading, especially on gold, oil, and the NASDAQ 100. His expertise & dedication to teaching is still invaluable to my trading journey.
