My phone contacts are always polite and helpful. One concern I would like to share relates to the alarm pendent. I can't wear it bed when asleep as my movements can set it off and I don't hear the alarm because I remove my hearing aid when sleeping. I can't suggest an answer but thought you should be aware of my problem.

I am very happy with the service from Mepacs, I have had it for a long time,
have not have to use it a lot, but I have they have been great. My mother
had your service too, and she had to use it often and without the service I don't know what I would have done I have no complaints so far
A Better Service
Years ago, when breast cancer metastasised into my bones, I decided that I needed some sort of security in my home. After several calls to Vital Call and no response to my many messages I decided to find another service and, lo, there was MePacs. I rang and left a message and within the hour, they responded.
Although their service did not encompass NSW at the time, they agreed to extend their assistance to me through my Home Care Provider!!
Since that time I have been very satisfied with their follow ups and checks that my pendant is in working order, and I am confident that they will be there for me when I need them to be.
They have now included NSW in their coverage and many lucky people have put their lives in MePacsâ hands!

I had no issues except I had to ask "who was calling?" Over recent weeks I have had many scam calls so do not always answer my phone.

Mepacs alerted me when l forgot to turn on power !
Recently, we accidently turned off our alarm base unit at the power point !
Mepacs,will carry out routine checks to see if customers are using their devices properly and if they are in working properly. Mepacs rang our home and asked us if our alarm was in working order.
By alerting us to the fact that it was not registering any signals, we checked
the unit and quickly found out it was not switched on.
This gave us some sense that we are being looked after and also reminds us
to check our personal alarm and base unit.
I have tried twice to have my callâŠ
I have tried twice to have my call answered .Yesterday March 30 and today 31st March....Where is the service I have paid for ? Your answer service is not responding quickly enough I have waited on the phone both occasions.at least 10min Probably even more than that. I left a message on your Accounts Department yesterday and have yet to receive a call?

Aged persons help when you need it.
I have been a MePacs member now for 3 years plus. I am now 80 years old, and live in a Lifestyle Village with my wife, I also have major mobility and health issues.
There are times when I am alone and I find the system very comforting to know that there is help at the end of a button push.
The monthly tests are encouraging knowing that a trained operator is there to assist.
Highly recommended for aged persons with health issues.
