Absolute waste of money

Absolute waste of money...do not order from Metisu.
I ordered a dress that looked beautiful online. When it arrived it was made of very cheap material, the fit was awful (the elasticated waist was far too high and the belt was very cheap looking.
I asked for a refund and had a series of email exchanges trying to persuade me to keep the dress.
I was then given a return address in China and instructions for the customs label, all of which I followed and duly posted it off in November 2017. Here I am in April 2018 and my parcel has just been returned to me!!
I will be complaining to Trading Standards as this simply isn't good enough. The returns address needs to be in UK and an easy, hassle free process as is the way with most online retailers these days.
The solution when I raised this with Metisu was to post it to another address in China...why would I want to do that!

Refund now received

Having read the reviews I decided to order a size bigger than usual. The dresses arrived after about 4 weeks and thy looked good apart from them being were much smaller than stated. Not only that the core measurements (bust,waist, hips) were inches smaller the arms and neck were tiny. As I’d spent over £80 on 2 dresses I decided to return them. It cost my £20 to send them back to China.
After a month I had not received a refund, so I chased them up. I received a reply admitting they had received the items, I wonder how long they would have waited if i didn’t chase. To add insult to injury they replied to say they are deducting a further £4.77 they claimed for the original postage! I have still not received my refund.
I strongly recommend you to avoid this company!

Update - I have now received the refund minus the postage - thanks Metisu. The matter is now closed.

What a scam!!

What a scam!!! I have ordered 3 dresses and they all look very cheap, the sizing is completely off. I wear size M and I got it but it fits a size XS. The quality of fabric is very cheap, delivery time is over 3 weeks, and when I ask to return them, they offered me $10 to keep them or send them to China (shipping cost more than the products). It's been more than 15 days and still have not received even the $10.

Metisu returning process

Seriously! which part of " I want the address so I can return the item" dont you understand?!!! It is not rocket science!! Why do you keep replying back to me without giving me the dam address?!! I have other things to do! Stop wasting my time! I don't recommend buying clothes on this website. I was not happy with what I got and the returning process is just ridiculous!

It has been almost six weeks nothing!

It has been almost six weeks and had ordered two dresses for two different occasions and still do not have these. Tried to cancel and no can do. Now I will put a complaint to my credit card company. Not good at all! Will never ever again from this company. It literally, no kidding, is coming from a slow boat from China.

Have no idea why they think this is a good business model today. No Bueno!!!!!

Metisu only order if your prepared to refund to China...

I would avoid ordering from Metisu, if you have to return an item they tell you to send it the cheapest way possible without tracking!!! I ordered a blouse but the sizes are so tiny it didn’t fit so I returned it to an address in china! I was told it would take a week to arrive but after 3 weeks I still have no refund. I’ve emailed them a few times but they say they can’t refund me because I don’t have a tracking no!! They say don’t sent it tracked so it looks like I’ve lost my £50....I won’t be ordering again and would strongly advise avoid Metisu. On the plus side the blouse I ordered was lovely but sadly too small.

I ordered a dress for my bridal shower


I ordered a dress for my bridal shower and logged into the site to check when it would arrive. The order was still processing and had not shipped yet so I knew it would not arrive in time. I was relieved to see that there was a big cancel button under my order so I hit it and was promoted to confirm. The order history then changed to "you have not placed any order yet." Five days later, the dress arrived so I emailed the company to let them know about their system error. They refused to acknowledge it was their fault and kept telling me they have no record of my cancellation. They said I could ship back the dress but I would have to pay the return shipping fee and would not be refunded the original shipping fee. There are so many options for women's clothing these days I wouldn't waste your time and money on a company that doesn't care about their customer satisfaction.

This review is for customer service only. I ordered a dress, however due to issues with their warehouse they couldn't guarantee my dress would arrive in time for the event i needed it for. I did order well within their shipping turnaround of 4 weeks. After waiting 10 days and not receiving a shipping confirmation I requested my order be cancelled and that was done without delay. Communication was prompt and honest.

DO NOT purchase anything from this company unless you plan to lose your money if your clothes don't fit or have a quality issue

This company has less than poor customer service. The dress I ordered was too small in the arm holes but the rest of the dress fit fine. After tons of delayed emails (it took them DAYS to reply to emails) they decided that they would not pay for return or exchange shipping because the problem was with me and not their dress!

They DO NOT have an American address, only one in China and they told me that I "didn't need to add tracking if it was too expensive" for me. Thats ANOTHER red flag - they will probably say they never received the dress back and avoid giving me a refund!

I will be reporting this company and placing reviews everywhere I can so that they are exposed for what they are.

Be aware with this scum company

Be aware with this company! If you don’t like your purchase, that is likely to happen as they’re nothing like the photos, you need to return them to China and pay for postage! I sent my order back 2 months ago and they’re saying they still haven’t received it, so they won’t refund my money.
They are selling cheap Chinese stuff and there’s no chance to see your money back if you don’t like the product.
DON’T BUY FROM METISU!!!!!

After posting my review the sent me the following email:

“Please understand that we did not receive any returned item from you as of yet. You can check with the shipping company and they will give you more information. You will find that the package is not delivered yet. As you are our valued customer, we still want to do our best to help you even though we suffer a great loss from this. After checking with our manager, we would like to refund you even though we have not received the returned package.

Please help us remove or improve the review on social media first so that we can arrange the refund for you as soon as possible.

Dress received in too small a size

Dress received in poor quality material (like plastic) and 4 inches too small on the bust despite a medium size label. Then you have to pay more than it is worth to send dress back to China. Be wary of this company.

UPDATE 21/04
AFTER package despatched by tracked courier Metisu send me a returns note to be enclosed, and now the return address is different to previously. They then ask that i remove my PayPal claim against them before they acknowledge receipt of return or give a refund! All this stated in the most polite manner but unable to comprehend their poor /inadequate and incorrect response.
UPDATE 12/05
Courier delivered return dress on 28 April and Metisu have not yet confirmed receipt of it, despite all the promises....

'F' rating with BBB...wish I knew before ordering.

First time ordering from this company. Received my order and immediately contacted Metisu to let them know that I was not happy with dress I received. It was very cheaply made and did not match the photo on line. I was asked to send pictures. I sent pictures and was told that they did not agree with me and the dress was fine and if I wanted to return, then I would pay shipping back to China. Went back and forth with them to no avail. Save yourself the headache, do not order from this company. What you see online is not what you receive and then you are out of luck. I buy 90% of my clothing online and NEVER have had such a bad experience with such poor quality. Will be disputing with PayPal as well.

Missing delivery. Terrible customer service.

I ordered 2 items a month ago and they have gone missing. Metisu have accepted no responsibility for the missing items, have happily taken my money but I have nothing to show for it. I've spent hours on the phone trying to sort it out.
I would never use them again.

The customer support was very good

The customer support was very good. I received the wrong size of the dress but they quickly responded. Not only. I asked if I could change with another dress instead and they agreed to that.
I have had very pleasant and friendly dialogues with the staff and I am extremely pleased and happy with the service provided. Looking forward on dealing with you again :)

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. The contact number is not a working number and they are not prompt to emails especially if you are wanting to return their product. I should have checked on reviews before ordering... the reviews are real! Real bad... the good reviews are probably from the people of Metisu or someone else they paid....
