I needed a specific car to be purchased and delivered from UK to Malta and MHH handled the entire ordeal swiftly and efficiently.

I was looking to export my car from UK and contacted several companies online. Unfortunately, most of them didn’t inspire much confidence—they were slow to respond and didn’t seem to fully understand my requirements.

Then I came across MHH and spoke to Chris. From the very first conversation, I felt reassured and in good hands. Chris provided clear and detailed advice on the different types of exports, associated costs, and the entire process. When I encountered difficulties with the dealer while purchasing the car, Chris stepped in and quickly resolved the issue over the phone. He even went the extra mile by running some checks on the car to ensure I was making the right decision.

The entire process went smoothly. The car was inspected and exported promptly, arriving at its destination in excellent condition. There were some shipping delays of a few weeks, but this was due to MSc Shipping postponing the departure date, and it was unrelated to MHH’s service.

When I dropped off my car at MHH’s premises for export, I was delighted to meet their friendly and professional team.

Just wanted to start by thanking the MHH team and Chris for arranging to bring a car I had seen in the UK to Ireland. The MHH team took care of everything for me including speaking to the dealer and providing me with videos of the car I was buying. I was able to get the full cost of import before paying anything. I had my reservations about bringing a car in from the Uk and if everything was safe but the team at MHH were very patient with me and worked with me. I recently imported a car from the UK to IRL. Alastair and the MHH team understand how to do this in detail especially in relation to handling the VAT in IRL & UK.

And in my case the vehicle was being exported back from the UK into the EU where it was originally manufactured and was < 3 years old - resulting in zero stamp duty etc.

The Customer Service across the MHH Team was very fast which was great as various updates were constantly coming in and any questions or clarifications from my end were answered immediately.

Having imported cars in the past pre-Brexit, this was my first attempt at bringing cars into Ireland post-Brexit and it was just too complex and risky to do without the aid of MHH. Chris and team were incredibly helpful and provided great insight, experience and communication throughout including addressing my initial reservations on sending so much money to a company that I had not dealt with before. I can only say that we'll be back in 3 years or so to MHH for their help with the procurement, transport and customs challenges for our next cars!

Purchased a car from the UK and imported into Guernsey in January 2024, dealing with Chris mainly. The entire process front-to-end was incredibly smooth, no hick-ups and quick on-time delivery into Guernsey. Their pricing model is simple which I liked. I was looking for a Volvo XC60 to import from the UK to Ireland. I came across MHH international on Google and sent them an inquiry. The service from Alistair, Danielle, Fiona and the folks at MHH international has been next to none! Alistair clearly explained the whole process from the beginning and gave me a break down of all the costs! I was kept in the loop by them throughout the whole process and even after encountering issues with the dealership from whom sold me the car, they were there to resolve them quickly and effectively! I spent lots of time looking for a used ID Buzz and tried to get one directly from the VW dealers in the UK. As I live in Jersey I asked for the VAT qualifying cars, and it was not easy at all to find a car and convince the seller that this will be exported to Jersey so I should not be charged VAT. Most of them said that they do not sell VAT free cars to Jersey despite the fact the cars they were advertising were "VAT qualifying". I googled a company dealing with car exports from the UK and I found MHH International Ltd. They are worth every penny! They found me a VAT qualifying car within one day and organised shipment to Jersey in less than 2 weeks. This a genuine company, very professional and trustworthy. Just tell them what you want or send a link to the car you like (providing this is VAT qualifying) they will source this for you, charge you a VAT discounted price (plus fees) and ship this to anywhere in the world. I was in need of a new Jeep SUV, right hand drive. By surfing through the internet I came across MHH just by chance. Before ordering the car I thought and made an extensive research on the company. Excellent recent experience with MHH who purchased a new Porsche Macan I had chosen in the UK for on-sale to me and export to Cayman. Clearly very experienced in the export process, very efficient and good at keeping the customer informed at every stage and I believe good value for the service provided.
