I applied for a start up loan but was rejected because my business was not launched yet which is why I asked for the loan to get up a running.
They failed to take into account that I was receiving a personal income where I would have enough money to pay back the loan regardless if I got sales or not.

Corruption at its finest
There’s absolutely no reason for this if the banks were actually solvent. Feels like nothing but another excuse for the government and big institutions to profit off regular people. Meanwhile, getting a basic service like a car loan elsewhere is far easier and with way less red tape. It’s frustrating to see how things are run.

Great staff, really helpful when I asked questions about my loan application. Would recommend to anyone looking for a business loan when finding it hard to get support from other lenders.

Should be no need if Banks are solvent.
Sounds like more profiteering by Gov.
Car loans are more available with less bureaucracy.

The reviews of 1 star are absolute nonsense. If answering questions about the viability of a business is to much to answer questions then sorry you should not be applying in the first place .
My experience was class from start to finish .obliging people who want to see your business grow and do well. Good detailed questions that make you think about how and where your business will grow and potential pitfalls .if you have a genuine idea or indeed want to expand contact these guys if your confident about your business ideas .

Unfortunately I would not recommend anyone using these as a financial loan service.

They requested far to much information all their short of doing is moving into your home with u.

Their underwriter John should work for the FBI the amount of questions you get asked for such a small amount I thought I was a witness on a murder case.

I'd stay well away from this company

They have many documents to fill out and a lot of red tape for such a small amount of money. I found them narrow-minded and unsupportive. 1/5. In my experience, Americans and British are far more pro- business than the Irish. My advice to the government: scrap these quangos, they're a waste of taxpayers money.

Corrupt Irish government agency. I asked for €5000 LOAN TO START and they asked me for 50 Documents in the end they said my project is not viable... and behind my back they are giving out loans to their friends like candy....in thousands!!!! . because of corruption.
