This was the perfect answer to our issue with the above range microwave. Easy to install and efficiently removes fumes from all our burners. Highly recommended.

George sent the wrong hood, which I returned unopened -- I refused shipment from UPS -- but he wanted to charge me a restocking fee before sending out the correct hood, because he had to inspect the goods, which he knew I never had in my hands. Protesting this I could also see from his invoice that he was preparing to send out yet another hood in a style I didn't want! "It's all your fault," he kept repeating, “because you ordered the wrong hood from the get-go,” and when I questioned his record keeping on his end, boy did he get nasty with more blame-the-victim tactics and name calling. My guess is he didn't have the hood I wanted to begin with. What a creepy experience. I’m taking it up with the credit card company and the state's attorney general.

Great product and company! In summary, we spent 20+ hours online looking at different products (range hoods of every conceivable size and dimension) plus upteen reviews on Reddit, Google, etc. We watched Microvisor’s videos including installation instructions but still had a question or two; so we called the main number and lo-and-behold the owner/inventor himself answered! He answered our questions and we went back online and ordered the non-retractable model because I liked the sleeker appearance and apparent equivalence in terms of function of it. We received it in excellent condition and it took me about 25 minutes to install. If I did another one it would take 10 minutes! It looks great and appears sturdy! We will test it out soon!

The package was never delivered, the tracking said I need to pick it up, and it didn't even say where. When I asked the customer support, George answered me that I need to pay some additional fees and go to some "Canadian Import location", not specifying the address. Nothing. He haven't even tried to provide any help. When I asked for refund, he quickly became aggressive and rude, saying it is all my fault. So, not a good business, and people are also not good. I'm not sure there are even any hoods.

The Micro-visor solved our venting problem. Easy to install and operate. The appearance of the Micro-visor blends nicely with our stainless microwave oven.
I would highly recommend this item to others.

I ordered the removable style and led light. The box arrived in a distressed condition, I opened the box and found 1 corner laid over even with the packing. The packing was good but just not enough for what it went through. They might want to address this with the shipping company. I straightened the corner and installed with no issues as I am leaving for work in a couple days, so I did not send it back. They did offer to replace it. My wife loves it and knows no different, my issue is the cost and to have it show up in distress.

This light replaces a light unit that no longer works in a $400 over-the-stove microwave that is a pain in the rear to replace. We've been without a stove light for two years. Tried another remote sensing light that worked for less than a month. Don't ask me why, maybe because I have been house-bound over the past month, I thought to look up "over stove lights." This product came up for a very fair price. I installed it in 2 minutes and my wife loves being able to see a frying pan again!

Installation was very easy. I would suggest a video or better photo show g how to attach the adapter piece.
Makes my hood look like the expensive hoods used in commercial operations.

I'm not a "handy" guy (thought I'm not totally incompetent either), but the removable visor was EASY to install. It took just a few minutes.
I got tired of my microwave door getting so much condensation buildup while boiling pasta, but this completely eliminates that! And it looks great!

I installed the hood about two months ago and have used it a few times since then. The hood seems to help, but not as much as I had hoped. For me, sticking out another inch or two would have helped. And the back is just held on with magnets, which are too small in my mind. But the biggest issue is that last night when using it, the hood almost fell off. Two of the three screws holding the hood to the microwave came out; they were not under tightened they just came loose from the microwave as if they were the wrong size. So now I have an expensive door stop.

Quality product looks great on the Microwave. (Kitchenaid microwave and stove) fast shipping very easy install. Works as advertised.

The MicroVisor came quickly. I paid extra to get it shipped 2 day. They were true to their word. My husband had this installed in less than 15 minutes. We are both in love with it. We have a Whirlpool microwave.

We received a damaged product and the company respectfully replaced it. We are satisfied and happy with the replacement.

George, just received and installed your touted Microvisor retractable hood. It's every thing you said it would be, namely quality in construction. The rear attach magnet concept is ingenious!! Makes it a one guy operation. Do have one suggestion, the knurled height setting knobs would be easier to access/tighten if they were keyed for an Allen wrench....a small item in an otherwise superb design. Also, was impressed with packaging. Solid box, no dings or dents!! Again, as when I ordered, being able to watch the videos and correspond directly with you was/is a major plus. Take care...and may sales take off.

The finish and fit are extraordinary. The corner brazing at the front is nearly imperceptible, with a fine polish on the view side. The holes line up with ease due to the long slots. I did swap out the mounting 3/4 inch screws for 1/2 inch ones, which had plenty of turns before bottoming out and tightening. I was not sure if going 3/4 inches into our microwave would get close to anything electrical inside. I am very impressed by the detail built into the visor. Smooth edges, very good stainless steel thickness, and a threaded knurled screw which locks the visor in place, once the receiving nut is engaged.
Finding the shorter screws took longer than installing the unit. The look is classy, and my wife is happy with its appearance and function.

I don’t like this at all. I have to lean down to see the controls on my range. It’s in my face I feel like. I’m not sure what I expected, but not this. The metal also seems flimsy.

easy to install and works really well with eliminating the exhaust out of the home. Wish I found this earlier.

The Microvisor Hood was so easy to install - it looks like it was made for my microwave, not an 'add-on'. It definitely reduces cooking odors but won't capture all of them (they are clear about this in advertising so believe it). The house can still be stinky after some types of foods but the intensity of cooking odors are greatly reduced. I use an odor eliminating candle occasionally and that helps. I wanted to replace my microwave with a range hood; however, the way the microwave is attached would require a contractor to remove it and redo the tile. The Microvisor Hood is a viable option. You can't go wrong with getting this item. Shipping was fast and I suspect the company has a good customer service department from the positive reviews although I did not need to contact them.

This hood extension covers the area that was not covered by the vacuum created by the microwave fan. It allows that vacuum to capture the vapors and remove them.
Additionally the extension covered the lights which were obvious and not stylish on the microwave. It was relatively easily installed and impressed my significant other who does most ( read as all) of the cooking.
We purchased the damaged extension and although we could identify a small rise in the bending of the extension it was excellent.
