I inquired whether individuals born in China could apply for your EW3 program, given the long visa wait times for mainland China. At MCC USA, we currently do not recruit applicants who were born in that country due to the significant visa backlog and extremely long waiting times. These delays make it very difficult for applicants to arrive in the United States and begin working with the sponsoring employer within a reasonable timeframe.
However, there may be an exception if the applicant has a spouse who was born in a different country. In some cases, the immigration process can be charged to the spouseâs country of birth, which may significantly reduce the waiting time.
