Unsure. Starting off the selling process but costs seem excessive. A marketing fee of £299 and checks for another £60 seems excessive. Is this normal? Debating changing

Milles and Barr took advantage on me and ask me to sign the contract in office because they have no time to come to my office....once I done as a favour to come to them and do it they did not explain to me on any stage that if you sign in office you loose right to cancel contract within 14 days...when I tried to cancel contract as I found dream house somewhere else they did not want to cancel and thread me to charge their fees...so lost opportunity to byuy dream house...keep away from this scammer!!!

Claudia was very kind and helpful when we walked into Miles and Barr Dover. We knew nothing about buying. Claudia guided us and was very patient. The whole team have been very friendly and kind and have helped us realise our dream of owning our own home.

Responsive and always returns calls. Emily very good at keeping everyone updated during the sale process

Viewing team could be better briefed and up to date with information about the properties they are showing.

When viewing leaseholds properties they should have knowledge of service charges, reserve funds etc

Handling of the sale of our house and the purchase of our new home. Debbie kept us updated throughout and resolved any issues we had quickly and efficiently making the whole process easier. Thanks Debbie 😀

From start to finish all at Miles and Barr Ramsgate and Dover have been fantastic. With chasing solicitors and allowing as many views as was needed also proving me with a virtual tape measure when id forgotten mine.

Becky White has been fantastic at doing our chase ups and keeping us informed of what was going on.

Its taken a little longer than I think any of us wanted it to take but so glad we've all got there and Becky has certainly helped ease the stress.

Worst estate agent ever used.
Put my house up for sale using Miles & Barr, signed up with the promise of they had loads of buyers waiting from London for a property like mine.
Had 1 viewing in the whole 22 weeks, never heard a peep out of them unless it was to chase money for alleged marketing.
I would strongly avoid using these clowns, their customer service is terrible.

I am receiving great communication from this branch at the moment for my purchase ,they have organised a solicitor for me and kept me up to date with all that is going on,the team have been so helpful to me and would like to mention flori from this branch who has gone above and beyond for me and nothing is too much for her,she is a credit to your team

Rebecca has been incredible! She was our Sales Progressor and with a very complicated chain, she was the lynch pin that kept it all moving. Even the solicitors were leaning on her to keep everyone in line. I honestly dont think we would of got this far without her and I can't thank her enough, She is a credit to Miles and Barr and worth the fee all on her own! Also Ethan did an incredible job negotiating the offer, we explained our budget for the house and he worked his magic to get our offer agreed aswell as the sale on our house.

Ethan Simpson at Dover branch was brilliant and so helpful. We felt like he was really on our side in trying to get the home we wanted in such a tricky situation at the time. He went above and beyond and we really appreciated his time and effort, as he also had his own wedding to go to!!
Also a big thankyou to Louise Daly at Dover who works so hard in what I can only imagine being quite a stressful time helping buyers and sellers on their journey. Louise was extremely helpful in her guidance and experience ensuring a smooth transaction in an otherwise stressful time. It was good to know I could call or email Louise with anything I needed to know or ask. It has been a pleasure to have her by our side and cannot thank her enough!
