Why do my Healthcare providers insist on increasing my health costs using this scam outfit?
Every time I even have something as inconsequential as an office call with either of my Primary Dr's, or even to go in to hospital one day for an x-ray I am forced to answer many, many, questions. I am forced to have multiple USER ID'S, multiple passwords, for which I have run out of paper & pencils to write them all down. Calling an office or hospital for normally walk-in x-ray, for instance, I sense similar frustration from who I speak with. This a typical money-maker scam, agreed to by crooked administrators who surely get monetary kick-backs from scammer Minecraft. This has been happening for at least two years.
Mimecast sucks
Mimecast sucks; it's a major time waster. I can only assume its developers aren't actually forced to use it or these rather simple things could be fixed and it could be great.
1) stop making me fill out my email address with every submittal. Mimecast knows my domain, why not me?
2) Responses from submitals are toooo sloooow.
3) Why can't you frickin remember the same site and allow it to be trusted so we don't have to go through this process again?
4) For each blocked email on hold, why do you make me view each one? I often know they are spam. Let me select multiple and delete without viewing them. Again, major time waster.
5) I reject an email and you have to tell me again in mimecast that I rejected an email so I have to clear that as well?
...there are others, but this gives you an idea. Can't believe they got this far.

Terrible. They add massive email signatures to every email. This doubles the size of each email chain.

Awful, locks up email and requires extra steps. Causes the email (OKTA) to crash.
What a piece of crap
What a piece of crap. So an actual scammer email was able to get through but not a single email regarding our companies 401k information which is time sensitive during payroll gets blocked automatically. No fix. Great job!

Twice this month service has been interrupted and was down for our entire group and country. What is is going on ? This down time cost business a lot of money. Once is more than enough. But twice is unacceptable.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. My wife's employer uses this junk, and it means I am unable to email her, even from our trusted email address. I've also received the dreaded 'undelivered' message from various companies I've tried to email due to Mimecast, with and without attachments, and even when we're halfway through an email conversation. It must have awesome sales people, as it simply is not fit for purpose, but continues to fleece customers for its pointless service. I wonder how many have lost business because of it? I've certainly gone elsewhere a couple of times because of not being able to reach someone via email. Rubbish.

Blocks trusted senders all the time and it doesn't matter how many times you tell the system to permit/allow, it continues to block them.
it's not absolutely and completely utterly useless
I agree with other reviewers that Mimecast is a block to productivity... it catches emails that it doesn't need to and converts files that are perfectly fine in XLSX format into CSV.
It does however catch a lot of spam, so it is not absolutely and completely utterly useless, but it is definitely a daily pain, and I will be glad to get shot of it from my organisation.
I have not tried contacting them for support or anything so cannot comment on customer service.

Informationen die frÃŒher schnell und einfach gesucht werden konnten sind jetzt nicht mehr auffindbar. Die Suche in Mimecast ist langsam, unÃŒbersichtlich und liefert falsche Ergebnisse. Die Integration in Outlook ist unterirdisch schlecht.
Customer satisfaction not a concern
Like many companies anymore customer satisfaction is just not important. Support is preferred via email, and it can take hours for a response. They tell you to call in but that is supposed to be for system down issues only. Instead of just getting on a phone call and resolving the issue really quickly, they would rather you open a ticket online and spend hours, days or weeks to resolve an issue via a ridiculous number of emails back and forth than just jumping on a 15 min call to resolve the issue.

This must be the least useful software I have ever had the misfortune of being forced to use. My company uses Mimecast personal portal to filter emails. I get an email every 4 hrs that typically contains no more than 2 held messages. So, for every two held messages I still get one email telling me I need to release or block the emails. They could have just let those filter into my spam folder, but instead I have 6 emails a day coming into my inbox, and they're not even helpful. It's awful to do anything in the personal portal. I can't for the life of me find a place that the held messages are. It just looks to be a recreation of my inbox. Again, not helpful. On top of all this, I think it also catches emails from sites that are sending me login codes so I can never receive those emails. Oh, then add in the very unhelpful search "help" function that doesn't return results for my questions. I wish I could opt out entirely but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Using Mimecast is a blockage to productivity
I can honestly say that using Mimecast is a blockage to productivity. The software prevents access to essential information (which by the way is safe and trusted) and the approval / release process is so frequent, laborious and worst of all repetitive, I simply don't bother. Businesses that use Mimecast are losing out because the system gets in the way of rapid access to important info - seriously needs streamlining.
Just hate their adverts
Not had anything to do with the company, but it is like their marketing team just thought of how to make the worst possible advert and then went with it.
I suppose the idea of no such thing as bad press is very much in their mind.
If I ever had to be involved in using such a service I would actively avoid purely because of their adverts.

Used to be OK, but now it's hard to find a positive in a sea of negatives
Mimecast started out interesting, but lately it's been a hindrance to have to deal with. There are numerous problems that don't seem to be improving:
-The email features (such as blocking or flagging) appear broken. The ones that do work (preventing me from opening meeting links, for example) tend to slow my work down.
-I've gotten more (not less) spam since we signed up. I'm not sure if they sold my email to security companies, but it seems like they did.
-The Awareness trainings were fun and well written at first. Now they have little to do with cybersecurity and more to do with office politics and management. It seems like with this change, the actors stayed the same, but the writers changed (the quiz questions are poorly written and not helpful in the least).
If you are a company looking to hire Mimecast to manage emails and spam, note that it probably isn't as good as it used to be. They aren't improving, that much is clear, so I'd look elsewhere if I were choosing companies.

If verified enroll email then code never comes on time. It is so painful especially if the meeting is set up to access the link. It makes it hard to join meeting links. Sometimes shared documents need multiple verifications. Being a product and UX individual I am rating with hard facts. Sorry but need improvement. Just make the link accessible once it's verified. This is 6 months after using review.

I simply cannot get through to them. I have left messages. I am in hurry to submit self-assessment by deadline. Update: Sam from mimecast called me in response to messages and sorted the whole issue of how to access email as an end-user. The whole mess up was caused by Al Rayan Bank (their client) and not mimecast. So changed negative to a positive review. Thanks again Sam
