From the 1st interaction with Mindpath I knew they were understanding and so helpful, 3 months later and I am so happy I picked them to do my assessment, diagnosis and medication.
Having RSD makes interactions extremely hard for me the anxiety cripples me but Fiona is absolutely amazing at understanding an validing my emotions while reassuring me I'm not bothering her. I can never express my gratitude to the team especially Fiona, Dr. Massaro and Dr Carvalho there is no words for the level of care and experience they have shown me throughout my journey.
I went into this thinking after a week I would pull out like I do a lot because of my crippling anxiety and RSD. Finally I have found people to understand and listen to me and help not like others professionals who automatically listen and judge me which leads me to not completing the journey. Again I will never have the words to say thanks , Fiona, Marcello and Paulo.

Mindpath really needs to be more upfront and transparent about pricing. Being quoted one amount and then receiving a much higher bill afterward was frustrating and stressful. When you’re seeking mental health care, you’re often already dealing with enough challenges, and unexpected costs only make the situation harder. Clear communication about pricing should be a basic part of patient care.

Before scheduling my initial appointment, I was told that my cost would be $175. Based on that information, I decided to move forward with treatment. After the appointment, I was surprised to learn that Mindpath billed my insurance more than $1,100 for the visit, leaving me responsible for $255.03.

My biggest concern isn’t necessarily the amount I owed—it’s the lack of transparency. If I had known upfront that my out-of-pocket cost could end up being significantly higher than the quoted $175, I would have reconsidered my options before scheduling.

When I contacted the billing department, I asked why the estimate differed from the final charge and whether the balance could be reviewed. Instead of answering my questions, I was simply sent another copy of the bill.

Mental health care is important, and patients deserve accurate, easy-to-understand pricing information before receiving services. My experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

For anyone looking for a provider with clearer pricing, I’ve personally had a much better experience with Lemonaid Health. Their costs are stated upfront, and they charge a straightforward flat rate for services that is significantly less expensive than the initial $175 I was quoted by Mindpath.

Mindpath's administrative system is shockingly incompetent and frustrating. The organization itself has proven to be a significant barrier to receiving care, and my experience has been defined by their systemic failures.

The administrative and operational issues are not isolated incidents; they are a pattern:

Profoundly Poor Communication: Getting a clear or timely response is nearly impossible. Many of my messages have gone completely unanswered. When a reply does arrive—often taking up to two weeks—it frequently fails to address the actual concerns and simply attempts to pass me off to another person. Basic client preferences are consistently ignored.

Critical Failures in Prescription Management: There have been many serious issues getting prescriptions filled correctly, sometimes leading to weeks without necessary medication. This has occurred even after repeated follow-ups from both myself and the pharmacy, which is a dangerous and unacceptable lapse in care.

Confusing and Unfair Billing: The billing practices are opaque and concerning. I've faced significant, unexplained charges on my bills. Worse, I was charged for an appointment that the provider failed to attend, and the company refused to issue a refund.

Unprofessional Service Delivery: Punctuality and reliability are major issues. I have had multiple instances of providers being significantly late for appointments, for which there has never been an apology or an offer of compensation.

My experience with Mindpath's administration is among the worst I have ever encountered. For a mental health service, creating such a frustrating and complicated environment is inexcusable. Potential clients should be aware of these serious systemic problems before engaging with their services.
