I absolutely loved that I took a chance to step outside of my comfort zone to meet such wonderful gentlemen. It was a great reassurance that there are good men out there who don’t just want to hookup or get caught up on superficial things. I’m grateful for the experience.

Programs like this are essential for getting us back into a world of interaction and conversation outside of the World Wide Web. It is wonderful to connect with other men in the LGBTQ community and enjoy great food together. The concept is perfect for me. Subtracting the pressure of individual conversation maximizing your selection and introducing the possibility of connecting outside of the environment if you feel a spark. Thank you.

I really enjoyed the dinner and had a great time meeting everyone. The people were very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, and I really appreciated the effort that went into organizing everything. My only disappointment was that most of the people in the group were quite a bit older than me, so I was hoping for a group that was a little closer to my age. Overall, though, I had a really nice evening and would definitely be open to joining another meetup in the future.

Strangely there was another group of 7 guys also from Mingleo on the next table. We felt happier being on a more intimate group. Three of us were new to the experience and Famey had been a few times. Famey also spoke Arabic in this Lebanese restaurant, which was useful.
Would definitely do it again.

Tonight was my 3rd time on Mingelo dinner experience. The first was good, the second was disappointing. Tonight was splendid. Everyone at the table was entertaining and easy to socialise with and I'd happily meet up and socialise with any of them again.
I'd advise that you turn up, be prepared to participate and come with no agenda other than to have a good evening. Tonight was exactly the kind of night I wanted from this and so I guess it was third time lucky 👍🏼

The experience and company are great.
People are really nice, but I do think the setup of the restaurant is the main blocker since the table setting at first kind of divides the table a little bit. But generally, the human trait of all is pretty synced and having a lot of fun conversation.

It feels great to meet men in person after so many years of being reduced to photos and screens. In-person conversations flow nicely and overall, people are much nicer.

Why only 3 stars? Pro? I enjoyed the group dynamic of like minder, age and glbt men.
Con? The advertisement offer lists benefits, one of which is meeting in a variety of curated restaurants. I have met for dinner four times and had dinner in the same restaurant three of those times.
Customer service response is by Ai which mirrors my concern to perfectly, adds a ticket number so it looks real. They say someone on their team will get back to me and the will look into finding other restaurants each week.
No one got back to me and restaurant choices continue to repeat.

It was a good meetup to connect with new people and make new friends. I have been to use a few meet up in the last 8 months but I usually enjoyed my time.

I went on a couple of group dinners. The attendees were from all over OC and we had pleasant chats. The restaurants chosen were good as far as food, but some were loud. They were all kinda pricey though. I think it's a great way to meet others but does have some awkwardness as it's not organic.

People are nervous about meeting strangers for dinner, but each time it's been a good experience! Typically age-appropriate matches, but, even when not, I find that gay men are socially versatile enough (no pun intended) to make good conversation. The dinners typically last about 2-2.5 hours, and there are lots of laughs and networking. Some people are shy and don't show, but most of the time, the majority show up and have a good time. Like advertised, there's the potential for romance, but as someone who is already in a relationship, what I've enjoyed most is being able to rub elbows with nice, working gay men who are also seeking social connections and just want to have a good time. A sense of humor is recommended--Don't take life so seriously!

The group dynamic this time around was the best out of all 3 dinners I have attended so far. We all seemed to be well matched in age and personality and we were looking for gereranlly the same type of experiences.

The venue was very nice with parking close by. The best part was that we were seated in a more or less private area where it was easy to hear each other.

It’s good to get out and meet new people and continuing friends

Having people who had been before was beneficial as they told us what to expect. Then the overall event was relaxed and fun.

It was very comfortable and they gave us a nice booth that was away from a lot of people and private so we could focus on our conversation. No one drank alcohol and everybody seemed like they were interested in hearing about each other.

It was friendly talkative group.
