Mitchells Moving Company レビュー 

Mitchells moved the contents of our three-bed house from Southeast London to north Hertfordshire, including an upright piano. The removal guys were friendly and hardworking, if not perhaps a bit too gung-ho/keen to get finished as early as possible. We had a few minor breakages, though nothing worth claiming on the insurance, a near miss with a window we had to ‘carefully’ remove to get the sofa out, and plenty of boxes in the wrong places at the other end. They were blisteringly quick, but might’ve done well to slow down a little. However, our main issue related to the quote we received. It was competitive, though not the cheapest, but turned out to be largely inaccurate. The van they arrived with (and had quoted for) proved completely inadequate to fit our contents in and so we were forced into needing a second van at a cost of £500. They were unwilling to negotiate on the cost, given the inaccurate estimation of what van we might need (inaccurate isn’t a strong enough word - they almost filled the second van as well!) and, as they had us bent over a barrel on completion day, we had no choice but to cough up in full (“well you can find another company to move the rest of your things if you like”). Perhaps the other removal companies’ quotes were more accurate and the overall costs would therefore have been a lot lower with another firm, we’ll never know, but the way Mitchell’s dealt with it left a lot to be desired. Also, be aware that they charge for packing materials (boxes, tape, packing paper, bubblewrap, even marker pens!) if they do your packing. That’s not something they hide, but their prices must earn them a nice extra profit because you can buy your own materials for less than half the cost. I’m afraid we can’t recommend Mitchell’s, especially when there’s plenty of choice in SE London.

The whole team were professional and helpful throughout. We had trouble confirming a moving date with our buyers but Mitchells were patient and flexible and got us moved at short notice without any issues. The removal team were polite and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Geoff and his team provided an excellent moving experience (sic) that dealt with all of my stresses as 'not a problem.' My house was cleared in 2 hours. All the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. I did extensive research before choosing Mitchell's, who were not only the most reasonably priced, but seemed to be the most trustworthy and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I used Mitchells for my recent move which due to the distance, took two days. From beginning to end, Mitchells were excellent. They communicated well, kept their promises and their office staff and removal men were friendly and helpful.

In particular, of all the companies we contacted, they were the one who showed flexibility around the move date and were happy to hold dates pending confirmation of a completion date.

I wouldn't use this company or recommended it to anyone. They men were very careless with the furniture and in a hurry. They damaged my walls , my sofa , some of my items are missing. When I called they said they are not liable to pay.

Two day move from Orpington to Bournemouth. Everything went as planned, and staff were pleasant and polite.

It was very pleasant having Mitchell’s doing our removal with three cheerful young men. Our only hiccup was realising our storage costs increased due to a lack of a larger unit, resulting in now having to pay for two units. We also hope (and will check in the future) that the three items we asked specifically to be be made accessible but had been stored in the back have now been moved to the front of the storage unit!

Great service from the guys from Mitchells Moving Company where they moved our stuff from our old house to our new house. They were very friendly and patient in waiting for us to complete and pick up our keys on the day to load our stuff in the house, even placing the boxes and furniture in the room they needed to go in. Highly recommend and great value for money!

Really good moving company, value for money. Professional, good communication, reliable. The moving team themselves were great, swift, courteous, helpful. I love the fact they took the clothes off the rails at the old place and put them on the rails in the new place. Would definitely recommend.
