I can’t recommend MML enough.

We had an ongoing leak issue from a neighbouring flat and had already used a few other contractors before contacting MML. The previous companies could see signs of the leak, but none of them could provide the evidence and identify the source.

From the very first contact, Silvia was a star, always responsive, professional, and extremely organised. She understands the sensitivity in handling neighboring issue and went above and beyond to help arrange the visit.

On the inspection day, Levi carried out a very thorough investigation of the affected area, using a range of detection methods to accurately trace the cause of the leak. The report, with clear findings, evidence, and recommendations, arrived within 2 days.

Thanks to Silvia, Levi, and the whole MML team. You are truly professional and trustworthy leak detection specialists, and your support made a very stressful situation easier for me and my family.

They replaced all the radiators and completed the job within a week, keeping disruption to a minimum. They also cleaned everything afterwards, leaving the place spotless. MML Plumbing has saved my life from start to finish!

I wanted to buy a 3 bed house in Barnet and called MML for a homebuyer survey. Lisa was very knowledgeable and transparent. After their visit, they discovered huge issues, such as boiler wasn’t working, water pressure issues and other gas issues. I decided to pull back from the purchase. The second house I viewed has only small issues so I bought the house 6 months ago now.

The issues they found were accurate and resolved by them later on, and no other issues with the house!

MML diagnosed accurately and with 100% accuracy!

I am grateful finding them, they are a business who is hard to find!

Since then, I used then to rectify the issues then find while carrying out the Pre-Purchase survey, and other refurbishment that I wanted to carry out after moving in!

We purchased a property last year. We hired MML Plumbing to carry out a pre-purchase plumbing survey. MML carried out the report and sent it to us.

It has become apparent that the report did not flag the risk associated with the underfloor heating arrangement of the house. In particular, while the report stated that "...This UFH is connected to the radiator meaning it doesn't have any separate controller....", it did not flag the risk related to this: that the return pipe or valve of the arrangement was not located and that, until at least the return pipe was located, we should not drain the system as it would be very difficult to make it function again. In contrast, in the preceding paragraph, it flagged the risk associated with some narrow pipe connections of another radiator.

We recently hired a qualified plumber to drain the system (we needed to remove the radiators to paint) and have had significant issues making the underfloor heating work because of the way the heating is set up.

Our experience is therefore that the services we hired MML to carry out were not carried out to the expected (reasonable) standard and the risk associated with the fact that said standard was not met have materialised. Had we known in advance of purchasing the property that this risk existed, we would have taken steps. We would of course not have carried out invasive test at the pre-purchase stage but we we would have approached the purchasing process differently - and would certainly not have removed radiators (a simple task for a qualified professional) in order to paint.

Reply: The whole point is that the report did not equip us to understand that the extent of the risk posed by the set up. Telling a lay person that the UFH is attached to a radiator and there is no controller does not imply that something as basic as draining a system would cause issues. We did not hire MML because the quote for the latter work was close to £1k. The issue is not what is happening at the moment but the fact the report did not flag the issue (in contrast, it flagged the risk of narrow connection pipes); the UFH comment (one-liner) did not even make it to the summary section of the report.

I posted the negative review because you indicated you would not engage in further correspondence. Your offer for a visit came after I posted the review, as the withrdawal of the refund.

Levi has undertaken quite a few jobs for me now for my rental property from renovating a shower unit, changing taps, fixing a broken boiler and replacing radiators. His work is efficient and professional, he attends on time and the communication is excellent. I prefer to support local business as the service you get is always more personal and transparent. The prices are fair and honest.

I have used MML plumbing before and have always been very happy with their work. Recently my elderly Mum needed her bath replaced with a walk-in shower. Despite problems of our making with car parking permits, they rearranged their schedule so I could get these. The work was completed perfectly and on time, and we were both delighted with the work. During the work a door with a mirror on it slammed shut and the mirror fell of and broke. This was no fault of the plumber at all. My Mum was a bit upset about it, but a week later MML got in touch to say they had found and obtained an exact replacement and would come around and fix it.

I have been blown away by their consideration and excellent service, and that they have gone above and beyond what anyone could expect and would highly recommend them.

MML plumbing has done great work on our property renovation project. They did the first and second fix plumbing, heating, and boiler installation. The engineers worked long hours and arrived on time. Communication with the plumbers and the office was very easy. The plumbers designed and installed an energy-efficient heating system that is also easy to control. I highly recommend them for plumbing heating and boiler installation works.

Great experience with MML from start to finish! Clear, efficient communication, transparent and reasonable pricing. Our plumber was punctual, professional, kept us informed of our options, and was extremely hardworking. He was even kind enough to manage the situation with our neighbours who were quite annoyed that we had to shut the water off urgently. Our plumber found and repaired a leak in a concrete wall (more complex than expected but it didn't deter him), fit a new kitchen tap, and even stayed beyond the allotted time to look at our boiler and find a problem with our radiators that we hadn't noticed. We were really impressed by the efficiency, dedication and level of service. We will recommend MML to others and use them again in the future. PS: At the time of writing, their overall Trustpilot score is only 4/5 whereas all customer reviews have given a 5-star rating. I found this strange when doing research myself and seeing everyone had given them a 5. So remember they're truly a 5-star plumber, not a 4-star one!

Excellent service. Levi came promptly and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was talking about. He explained everything and left me able to sort things out if necessary. He diagnosed a leak, and proceeded to find it, although that was not why I called him in.
All heating sorted efficiently and calmly.
