I filed a bankruptcy with this company and was told on the beginning that it would be 1800.00 for the company to file this request then I find out later that there is another fee for the court of 500.00 and at this time with what payments I have made I am still at 2300.00 owing to them after I provided all my dept which was unsecured dept I heard from my rep for the first 3 months then nothing after that they don’t connect with you or even tell you the truth I talked to a manger to state I am paying for my whole family on a limited pay so I would like to use my Tax payments to pay off my debt that I owed to MNP for their services to be told that I still owe money to the depts and my carbon tax and my income taxes will go to my dept not to what I owe the company and even though I made some payments before the company started taking payments out of my account on the wrong dates causing me to bounce the payments to them. Don’t use this company for these reasons they don’t explain everything up front, they don’t keep in touch with you and they are shady. Find a company that will be upfront trustworthy MNP isn’t that one.

I highly recommend MNP Debt NE because they had helped me with professionalism, respect and compassion. I want to thank, especially, the consultant Andrea H, who took care of my case. She was amazing. Andrea is knowledgeable, polite and patiently answered all my questions. Thank you very much!!

Don’t do it with them. They are incompetent and rude in Brampton/Mississauga. They lied to me about my OSAP and in the end didn’t get my student loan because all they do is rush clients. I could have waited until I get my student loan then apply but all they need is your money. The owner tried to cover up their mistake with more lies. Any errors on their end, they will make sure to cover up with lies. They don’t help in anyway. Even their reviews are fake on their site because they are promising a chance to win $1000 gift cards and any negative review is deleted because mine was.

I worked with Rachel Riddell and she was incredible. She found an error on the processing of my car loan which meant it was a void contract, which allowed me to keep my car and avoid a bankruptcy. She was so thorough, she even helped me when the CRA was telling me I'd have to call them in order to see my tax return come to me so I did not have to waste hours on the phone with them! I had previously been speaking to Sands & Associates as they had good reviews, however they ended up being a complete nightmare. Had I given up and done what Sands was telling me to do, I'd have ruined myself financially. This is such a tough process to navigate and Rachel was a calm, confident voice on my shoulder throughout the emotional ups and downs. I deeply appreciate her warm, professional manner and her strong intelligence which was so supportive of my financial well-being. Thank you Rachel and MNP for your work.

Rachel Alraun and John Athanasiou did an outstanding job helping me deal with the financial situation of a sick relative for whom I became POA. It was an extremely complicated situation, and they helped me navigate through it even when we ran up against extremely perplexing situations. I felt that they were the only people in the process who I could really trust to look out for my relative's best interests, and to ensure that I was kept informed at all times. Their responsiveness was astounding and their compassion was astonishing. I would recommend that anyone who is in financial difficulty work with this wonderful team in the Niagara Region.

I highly recommend MNP, I dealt with them begarding my debt and got all the information and walked through everything with no worries. They are so kind and understanding and very patient. Please give them a call for anything you may need help with regarding financial debt.

I would highly never recommend this company for any bankruptcy related issues and files. They are now bringing me to court because they kept changing my bankruptcy contract on their own without sending me the paper work to approve or decline. Never answering questions and inquiries and go around the bush and try charging you more money in the long haul.

Wendy M., MNP Regina is the person you want on your side in this situation (debt insolvency)!!! Had all answers to my questions quickly and confidently and solved any problem I had. Her confidence,kindness and work ethics kept me from over reacting and doing something stupid and again Wendy THANKYOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! I consider you a good friend rather than a insolvency trustee and will keep in touch from time to time! I can never thank you enough!

Darla at MNP was amazing. Anytime we had questions or needed to move a payment date. She was right on it! The process of doing a consumer proposal was easy. It’s been 5 years and we just completed ours. Now to rebuild

Stay away! Had a few consultations and I said I would talk it over with my husband. I contacted them back a week later to let them know I wanted to move forward and never heard back from them. I emailed AND left a voicemail...nothing. Contacted Allan Marshall and was signed with them within 3 days.

Very very bad trustees office they will take your money and don't do anything to your bankruptcy this is the worst trustees office company in ontario don't be fool and go with them go find butter trustees

I was in a bad spot a few years ago and the only option was to go through Mnp life is on track theses days thanks for the opportunity to make life better

Absolutely sickening that a large corporation like this is has any say in grant approval… the fact that they deny grants, only to turn around and offer their services, upcharging for grant writing is disgusting.
Further, when the conflict of interest is pointed out, MNP threatens to sue the whistleblower. Makes sense, cause you guys aren’t guilty, right? Corruption at its finest. Leave the guy alone.

Can't take you folks seriously.

Use real clients. Not lousy actors.

The experience was amazing with MNP they saved me with the debt I had Roberta was amazing trustee thank you for all your help this made my life happy and a relief that it's over

Just wanted to thank you from MNP that help me out of Debt, it took 4 years but was worth it to deal with debt collector ,especially thank from Mrs. Leah Gelacio ,that any question that I had ,she respond me right away Thank you.

Overall I had a good experience with MNP so far on filing a consumer proposal. Alana Orrell helped me. It was a complex journey with credit cards debt from festival organising, educational, some consumer and medical debts, and so I was glad to find a manageable solution. After comparing 4 agencies I started to work with one, then the agent took a long time to reply, it was not clear it she would get back to me so I returned to the 1st lady but they were not an accredited agency (fee was way too much for me even though they were nice), I ended up doing the proposal with MNP.

Initially the form to complete with details seemed overwhelming and complex as well as the agreement (the official legal document which I assume was standard for such things). Alana helped me to understand it better and also as an astrologer I appreciate that she was willing to file the proposal within a specific time frame (I am doing an informal research on astrology timing).

Anyways, the proposal was accepted by banks recently and I hope things will go smoothly with payments.

I would recommend checking articles on their website. The whole process from research to the news on proposal took me 4 months, about 3 months from the initial online consultation.

The only thing I’d prefer to be different is to be offered some visual summary of options however the email was helpful after the 1st consultation as well as the rest of the correspondence and help on filling out and understanding the documents. My case might have been easier than some other probably because I did not have mortgage debt and was single and had no dependants.

I think it is important that you trust the consultant and agency and things get done. There is perfect one solution for everyone. Communication style differs of debt insolvency companies and agents, if they are not responsive enough it might be difficult to collaborate. All was fine in my case.
