Mark and Leo were booked to install a temporary kitchen in our house on behalf of Wickes. The first sign that these guys are totally professional was the removal of their outdoor shoes before laying down many layers of protective sheeting! As I said this was a temporary kitchen before returning later in the year to install our proper kitchen, well my wife and I can’t wait for this as the high quality of workmanship on the TEMPORARY one is outstanding. These guys are considerate to the customer on so many levels, communication, always keeping you in the loop, returning calls and texts, respect for your home and trustworthy. At the end of the job the kitchen, living room and outside area where they had been working was spotless, and the kitchen install quality was excellent.
If you hire these guys you are in very very good hands. 6*

Mark knows how to get the job done and left a professional finish to t bathroom, having worked out a couple of problems with the initial design.

Mark responded to our Facebook request for help taking out part of a brick wall to install a gate, he came round when promised, gave us a reasonable quote, and was able to do the work in the time frame we had requested, his team were prompt, helpful and worked in a clean and tidy manner, we are very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend MOAT Developments and will use them again if the need arises.

The shower pipes are repeatedly bursting apart and need replacing. There's no hot water reaching the shower. The tiling is coming away from the walls and the grout is cracking and lifting away. Job was completed beginning of September 23. Less than 5 months ago. Left message and tried to call Mark but he hasn't responded. Really disappointed. Will need to get it all redone.

Without answering my 2 calls and 1 message, speaking to me or even seeing the problem Mark has decided he is right. He's not. Maybe he's psychic?

Anyway. The shower is totally not working. The pressure is wrong. It will need redoing. I would like Mark to do the right thing and answer my messages and arrange fix it. Instead of creating smokescreens, inventing nonsense and making excuses.

The pipes are springing apart. They're not holding. That's it. The shower that he installed 5 months ago now completely doesn't work. I'm sure LGS plumbing Brighton (who installed a new boiler 3 years ago and are brilliant) will tell me what is wrong.

M.O.A.T. Developments are a trustworthy company. They are professional and do a good job at reasonable prices. I would recommend them.

A great job done by Mark and his team putting a new roof on our conservatory last year looks so much better than the polycarbonate sheets that had been up for many years and just turned very dull looking over time thanks guys.

Mark has done of a range of projects for us - for instance, a complete bathroom renovation, a loft conversion to provide extra storage space and fixing a leaky roof. We have been delighted with his work as well as his friendly manner. In addition, he has a real "can do" attitude. We live in an older house where unexpected issues can arise, but Mark is always thinking through ways to solve any issues that crop up. Highly recommended!

Installed new loft hatch and ladder, repointed chimney stack in the loft & took out old water tanks, did great job could not be happyer. Will be getting mark back to do more work in near future to put in a velux window in and refloor the attic.

Mark has completed many jobs for both myself and my family & without a doubt, is the best there is!

Nothing is too much for him; there isn't anything he can't handle. Whilst sometimes he can be called away, or other clients contact him whilst on a job (which can take away from the job) at the end of the day he runs a business. However, he is always apologetic for this and puts in the hours to get caught up and keeps within the quote/scope of work.

The most recent job he did for us was fitting our laminate flooring, which, whilst I knew how excellent his craftsmanship was, this time he took it to another level. Mark's attention to detail & precision to cut the laminate in the smallest and most awkward of places to ensure it fitted correctly and, flowed with the rest and didn't look odd was out of this world, everything was thought about.

Mark suggested some coloured silicon for finishing off the edges as we did not want scotia, and we're so thankful for this as the colour match is perfect and once we have finished the silicon off it will complete the overall which has made an incredible transformation.

We will continue to use Mark as his guidance when he cannot get to us is always appreciated and well received.

Installed new loft hatch and ladder, then removed and relaid insulation. Completely reboarded roof space (100 sq. m.?). Installed additional lighting and added shelving. Removed surplus/old tanks. Site left tidy every evening. Very pleasant workforce. Highly recommended.

Mark did a fabulous job laying Victorian style tiles in an awkwardly shaped space. It looks amazing! He was paid close attention to detail and did a brilliant job. He was also efficient and tidy and a pleasure to have working in my home. I’ll definitely be recommending him to friends.

Mark is a lovely chap and hard worker, he’s done a great job constructing our garden deck area and we a extremely pleased.
