My mother placed an order for a new bed paying £3250 and still had £3250 to pay. Sadly she died suddenly on 2nd April 2025. I informed The Mobility Furniture Company straight away of her death and received a letter dated 7th April 2025 saying the order had been cancelled and a refund of £3250 will be returned to the original method payment. As I am executor of her will I informed them of this. I received an email after sending 3 email before this with no reply on the 20th May 2025 asking for my bank details and proof I was executor of the will, I sent this information over and haven’t heard anything back since and still haven’t had the refund! Numerous emails have been sent and I have been ignored! When I have spoke to customer service it’s the same old story, someone will be in touch with in 48 hours, which they never are! As you can imagine I am still coming to terms with my mother’s death and having to chase this company for the refund is having a massive effect on my mental health!

My mum has ordered a chair, paid in full as requested, told her she should not have done that and still no chair, keeps being delayed. Can not get hold of you spent 12 minutes on the phone to still not be answered. I have given the details but the response is not what was expected. I called and an still waiting for a call back. It seems all you are doing is fobbing people off and not delivering after taking money. No
One answers your phones. You are always number 2 in the queue no matter how long you wait. How can this situation be rectified? And why are you saying you’ve trading for 30 years when the company was only registered in August 24?

When settee arrived after 5 months it was the wrong colour and fabric. We were refused a refund of our deposit because the company went bust but immediately started up again with the same name. We are pensioners who went thru a lot of hassle to be over £3000 worse off with no settee

On 21st Jan 2025 my 86 year old Mum ordered a mattress and chair from the Mobility furniture company spending over £4,000. She cancelled the mattress order and was promised a refund but this has not been paid and there is no sign of the chair order. Despite multiple phone calls, emails and a written letter to the service, accounts and sales teams we have received no communication on the refund or order.
I am now raising a complaint with the FHIO to try to reclaim our costs.

Please be warned this company take the money and do not deliver. They should not be in business.

On the 27th of January my father-in-law placed an order for a riser recliner with an 8 week delivery date with this meaning his chair would be with him by the end of March beginning of april 2025 a week before the chair was due he called to find out when it would be delivered and was informed it would be delayed for two weeks it has been put of three times since then he was given a loan chair that was not to his measurements and the next time we called they informed us the chair would not be delivered till the 30th of June as this was not acceptable we canceled the chair and requested a refund only to receive a letter telling him he did not have the right to cancel the chair and that they would be keeping the £2400.00 deposit that he paid not only that they wanted the loan chair back which they have no chance of getting till he receives a full refund under the consumers rights act 2015 which gives the consumer the right to cancel and receive a full refund which they do not seem to understand is this is a legal right of the consumer as they were in breach of contract after 30 days of the original delivery date had passed

2 chairs ordered October 2024. Paid £3800 deposit. cancelled order the following day. Took me 6 months and the threat of involving the Furniture Ombudsman, to get the deposit back for the disabled pensioner who ordered them.

I would never ever recommend this company. Customer service is nonexistent.

My 85 year old mother ordered a chair from this company in December 2024. She was advised 4-6 week delivery.
£4800. Was taken from her account end of December.
Mid April 2025 - still no chair so she cancelled the order.
She was advised 14 days for refund……..
Still no refund.
Customer service terrible as they won’t pass me onto an actual person in cancellations/finance to ask why she still hasn’t had a refund.
Oh! And they state she entered a contract. What contract?? She didn’t sign anything??
Just don’t order anything from this company

Excellent service,items top quality,staff & delivery drivers very helpful,moved our existing bed to another bedroom,and installed the new bed.Also we have bought 3 recliner chairs which are very well made.

The order was placed and half the total price paid on November 5th 2024 and were told it was a 6 week lead time and would be delivered before Christmas. We didn’t have to do anything and would be contacted the week before delivery to pay the full price and organise delivery.
On behalf of my dad I phoned customer services the week before Christmas, the delivery date, to ask for the status of the order. I was told there were delays at the factory and nobody knew when delivery would be made and I would be contacted in the new year.
Mid January and no contact made. I phoned again and was told nobody knew when the order would be delivered but the factory would be contacted and I would get a call back. A week and a half later and still no call.
Phoned again the lady I spoke to this time struggled to find details of my previous call but said that the factory wouldn’t know. I found this ridiculous. The positive I do have with this call is that I explained my dad is 80.his conditions and how he was struggling to get in and out of his armchair. With this she arranged a loan chair which was delivered the following week. I am extremely grateful for this but didn’t think it would be approximately another 3 months before delivery.
Finally around the end of march, apologies I can’t remember the exact dates, my dad was contacted to pay the balance and the chair would be delivered in the next 2 weeks. I made the call, paid the balance and was told the delivery would be later than the date my dad was given. Poor information again.
Finally after 5 months for a 6 week lead time we got delivery. Very disappointing.
I asked again why the delays and was told they never knew. The fire was only mentioned once. I felt for the ladies in customer services as it appeared they had no information at all.
If there was a catastrophic event we should have been contacted and given the option of taking our deposit back and look elsewhere but in good faith on our part we continued. In my job role I understand catastrophic events in factories however our customers are made fully aware of the issues and updated - not forced to chase. We will not be using this company again or recommending them to anyone. In fact I hope a letter of apology and possible renumeration is offered to my dad!

I put the order number at the end of the review as requested but haven’t heard anything back from the company regarding the poor customer experience. Have now removed it.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced!
Ordered a recliner chair and settee in August 2024 and was told it would be delivered in 4-10 weeks but we are still waiting for it. Every time we ring we’re told that they don’t know what the delay is and can’t tell us when we are going to have it. The customer service is absolutely appalling and would never ever order with these again!!

Update since this, I was contacted to resolve the issue. They said that the furniture would be delivered on the 30th of April and to pay the remanding money that was outstanding. Instead of losing the original balance that was paid (£3,500), we thought we would just pay the rest and let bygones be bygones. The rest of the money was paid (£3,400). We had no confirmation of a delivery date only a verbal one. Tried to contact again when the date arrived and was told the furniture had not even been started due to not having the material!!!

When contacting the office, nobody really cares and when asking peoples name, they say one name then another name. So makes me wonder if they are giving the correct name in the beginning??

I have since gone to the local MP regarding this situation as we are getting no where fast.

PLEASE if I can give you any advice, do not order from this company. As they have no empathy or compassion for anyone!!

I've purchased a chair recently, amazing products, money well spend. Excellent service from sales rep and delivery team.

Don't, just don't. November 2024, two orders signed at home with their Salesman, 2 x Adjustable armchairs and 2 x Adjustable beds, so a reasonable order. 50% deposit paid. 20 January 2025 promised delivery first week in February 2025, balance paid.

4 February 2025, order goods not yet manufactured, offered £200 refund 1.05% of order value (which was refused). Delivery promised for 28th February 2025, nothing, promised 3 March 2025, no luck. offered compensation of some £3,000, not yet!

9th March I e-mailed them as confirmation of delivery and good quality of the furniture delivered.

April 2025, loads of my e-mails sent but still no response, the pile is over an inch high, their receptionist can not forward any telephone calls, nor name any contacts within her company that I can address e-mails and or post to. Last e-mail from them promises contact in three weeks? Anyone want a bet? Still kicking the tin down the road.

May 2025, still waiting on the £3,000, I suggest you look them up on Companies House, through GOV.UK

I rang today to get update expecting them to say a few weeks but I was told it would be end of June because they were behind and there was two order's before mine I am not at all happy as I was told and it is on the order 5 to 7weeks and no one informed me of the delay only when I rang to get update I have spoken to a persn and he sorted it out ] hopefully it won't be much longer

My new mattress is amazing!

What a find, couldn't fault The Mobility Furniture Company. They removed my old mattress without an issue and my new mattress is super comfortable. Will use them again in the future.

Really helpful and we purchased a new walker that folds up and fits into the boot of the car easily.

Incorrect furniture delivered, instead of two recliner chairs with dual motors you delivered one and no static 2.5 seater settee, order altered at manufacturers, spoke to Helen
Williams she is supposed to be sending authorised £1,000 compensation.
Was advised delivery date for replacement recliner with dual motors and 2.5 seat static settee, now put back until
01st April, 2025, furniture still not arrived excuses given delay due to spring/Easter holidays this is a load of rubbish as you were aware of this replacement order well before then.
Delivery date now 19th May 2025 ( should have been before
Christmas 2024) I want another
£1,000 compensation in addition to the missing £1,000 compensation.

Helen Williams no longer works for company (I wonder why) my emails have been passed to Management Co ( Loki Enterprises T/A The Mobility Furniture Company) for attention of Peter Walton and Andrew Cox, I have sent them another email stating that if I don't get a reply by next week for an update, I will report them to The Furniture Ombudsman, as we are at the end of our teather!!

Got a mattress. Great quality, very happy. Recommend
