Very happy with purchase. Delivery was delayed due to arrival from o/s but they phoned me several times with updates.

Although it's a nice piece of furniture, one of the boxes was opened when arrived and some hardware was missing. Missing hardware was sent to us promptly though.
I would recommend that someone at Modern Furniture actually tries to assemble the desk following the manual. You will find that following the manual it is impossible to build it and a fair amount of improvisation is needed. The hardware came also incorrectly labelled. Some of the screws were impossible to use as there were no predrilled holes, for example fixing the handles to the drawers.
All in all, we do like the desk, but it was the hardest piece of furniture to assemble in my life.

Your product looks good and are of decent quality however construction and instructions are worse than Ikea

The installation was great but the desk had drawer problems but they were fixed eventually. Just took them a long time. Almost a month

My order arrived in good time. Communication with this company was excellent. The actual product has exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful wood and finish. The bench is of excellent quality, is functional and looks beautiful as well. Very happy. Thank you.

Ordered this during Covid. Item came when it was scheduled. Customer service was good. Spoke on phone with a few questions before ordering. Great desk, good size - being used by 2 people. Stylish and functional. Solid and well made.

Furniture is great. We had issue with damaged part in transport but customer service was very good.

The item is gorgeous and looks just like it did online but it was an expensive piece for an online purchase and the doors just don't seem to close properly. If I had seem this in store I would have asked for another piece or a discount on this one.

We pre-ordered 2 executive desks from Modern Furniture and the contact from them was almost non existence. The desks were delayed several times and we were then sent a desk with scratches and with the wrong manual - which caused one of the items to be put together wrong. There was an option to pay for 2 man delivery which we did, considering we do not have lifts at our office and the desks are 50+kgs each - but then were called to say no they would just be left downstairs. It seems that our area does not allow for 2 man delivery - resulting in us having to arrange contractors to bring it up the stairs. The customer service was dismal and we had to forever follow them up. Would never order from here again.

The unit l purchased was sent with an error with the stand that l had to attach the unit on. There was a mark on the unit which l fixed with black paint and the springs that opened the draws were broken and now the rest of them are now not working..
I love the look of the unit. I kept it as l don't think they would've collected it nor were they giving me compensation for any of the errors. Wont be buying again from them.

The chair was as I hoped and the design and color are perfect for the room I’ve decorated. Delivery was super quick too. Very happy with this purchase.

I have received several emails requesting me to rate my experience with Modern Furniture. I am not really in a position to “rate” as such because I am yet to receive my order. I realise it has only been 10 days since my order was placed and I am aware that deliveries could be affected due to the Covid 19 pandemic however I have given a bad rating due to the fact that a) I have received these annoying emails BEFORE I have received the goods and b) when I have tried tracking the order I was advised that order was unable to be tracked so that was a useless exercise. Hopefully my furniture arrives soon .

The vanity arrived on time and was as described, fitted perfectly, the only thing that was needed was a backing board to hide the plaster wall at the rear especially the hole in the wall to make it look neat.

Low quality LEDs that kept falling out of place.
International wiring for desk, and connection hub for wiring badly dented.
Abundance if some screws, but them missing others.
Poor instructions witb very little detail.

Great customer service. Speedy inter state delivery. I love the coffee table its just slightly smaller than pictures indicated.
