Lukas has created a beautiful system to finally get unstuck from Guitar mediocrity, great guy, always takes his time to listen to questions and has great input for me.

A musical genius of our days, with his generous 20's mustache and honest will to help! Not just showing you something, some mysterious hints or series of boring exercises... naaah...

Lukas is amazing. He has worked so hard and fulfilled his passion of playing guitar and spreads that passion daily to his students. He’s fun and extremely good at teaching and being there for his students no matter where they are in the process of guitar. If you have ever dreamed of making money doing what you love, being in a community with someone who fulfills his dreams daily is genuinely one of the best things you can do for yourself. Obviously you will get better, EXTREMELY BETTER at guitar, I already have and I’m fairly new. Lukas isn’t just a guitarist though, he’s extremely intelligent as well. He helps us destroy the negative thoughts holding us back, and he inspires a fight of resilience to the guitarists who think they can’t play faster. Thank you Lukas. I’ve had so much fun so far and genuinely can’t wait to see where your teaching will take me. After reaching a plateau of self taught i was stuck no longer able to make meaningful progression.

I looked at a numerous online lessons, bought a number of others. The trouble being, without appropriate feedback and guidance it was still a frustrating process.

After considering varied coaches I was drawn MGC firstly, in all honesty a vibe. I saw some free YouTube content and I liked the production quality. I also found the video to be informative, helpful and catering to varied learning styles with clear audio and physical instruction, with rolling tabs to accompany it all.

When I looked further into MGC I found that the overall program was strongly focussed on continual progression with an emphasis on positive mindset.

I also found that the use of accountability through uploading progress to a closed community page to be a very powerful tool.

I am excited to continue my journey with MGC and I give a big thanks to Lukas and his team.

Might be a bit early to review after 3 weeks, but i have a really good feeling about this course. I found my drive again after 2 years, I enjoy practising, deleted my socials and stopped procrastination because here you have a platform with a guitar community. When you see people who played for 30+ years starting all over again with this course, you know it is a good place for you. Theory - my nightmare, took 1 lesson from Lukas and I could finally memorize the scale shapes easily and even improvise a bit. I look forward to each new lesson.

I looked at a lot of guitar instruction courses before deciding to go with Modern Guitar Course. There are few things that set Lukas apart.

You are joining a community with his course. So there are like minded guitar players at every level that you can interact with.

Lukas also teaches theory mixed in with technique. You let Lukas know what you want to do, and he maps it out for you. He can show you "how" to play what you want to play. There are not a lot of instructors that offer this.

The website is extensive, and well laid out. You have to do monthly zooms, so he can gauge your progress. And you have access to consult with him any time you want.

The value for the cost is there 100%

After a couple of weeks I can see my playing smoothing out. So I know I am progressing.

I am about 15% into the course and I can already feel a significant improvement.
The content is great and to the point.
Lukas and the rest of the community are super supportive and its an great space to be in.

After years of being stuck at the same level, I joined Modern Guitar Course about eight months ago. For the first time in a long while I'm making real, measurable progress again: better technique, and above all a clear structure in how I practise.
The course itself is excellently organised. The video quality is high and the platform works smoothly on both the phone app and desktop. The tutorials are divided into levels, so you always know where you stand and what comes next. Most chapters end with action items: exercises that build up to recording yourself playing and posting it in the community.
The community is remarkably active. Everyone shares their progress, the other members react in a supporting way and Lukas responds to every single post with personal tips based on your video. You're encouraged not to post a perfect take, but to show where you actually are in your progress. It creates a real sense of community.
What also sets this course apart are the weekly online group sessions on multiple days/times to cover the planet. Lukas takes time for each participant: where are you, what are you struggling with, any questions? That individual attention, combined with a safe atmosphere where mistakes are simply part of learning, keeps you motivated week after week. You also learn a lot from the questions of others. Added bonus: Lukas is an excellent motivator and shares fascinating insights into how the brain works and how to use that in learning guitar.
He is a true craftsman. Warm, enthusiastic and sincerely motivated to bring out the best in everyone. His involvement feels personal, not like a standard online program.

Modern Guitar Course has been an exciting journey so far. I’ve really enjoyed the structured approach and the way complex techniques are broken down into manageable steps. The lessons challenge you while still keeping the learning process motivating and enjoyable.

One thing I especially appreciate is how much focus there is on timing, clarity, and building real playing ability rather than just memorizing exercises. I’ve already noticed improvements in my technique, speed, and overall confidence on the guitar.

Definitely a great course for anyone serious about improving their playing while still enjoying the process.

After just one month in the Modern Guitar Course (MGC), I can already see real progress in my speed, synchronization, and overall level of playing. I'm able to play things I honestly didn't think I'd ever be able to pull off.

The program is very well structured. You can feel yourself leveling up week by week. On top of that, you become part of a great community where you can get feedback not just from Lukáš, but from everyone in the group. Every week there's a chance to discuss your struggles with the whole group and ask Lukáš directly how to proceed.

I truly recommend this program to every intermediate guitar player who wants to improve their skills in a structured, supportive way.

I am a 20+ self taught guitar player. I found myself in a plateau for years and I started looking at youtube videos to learn on my own about theory and technique. That's how I came accross Luka's videos on youtube. I found his method straight forward, clear and fun to follow, so I decided to go for the Modern Guitar Course.

After almost a month, I can confidentially say that; not only it's the best and fastest I've ever played, but also I understand more about what I'm doing than ever before. The community of MGC members is extremely supportive and Lukas is constantly checking on you to see if you reached a bump in the road or need advice.

Especifically, the course is structured in 15 levels; from the very basic (stretching before playing) to highly specific (thumping and beyond). I just reached level 5, I've learned about chords, triads, pentatonic, major scales and more. In this short time I've absolutely improved basic mistakes I was making as a self-taught player in my picking style, hand placement, wrist movement, fretting hand and much more.

Each level includes both technical and theoretical knowledge. All levels are about 6-7 videos + pdf/guitar pro/mp3 tracks and homeworks (called action items) that you need to upload to the community, you can move forward only if the action items are viewed and approved by Lukas.

Regarding payment, the course is not cheap, but there are installment options. Since the content is available for life and I'm only 30% through and seeing results in less than a month, I find it worth it.

I've been avoiding guitar lessons for 45 years. I lost the motivation to build skills and knowledge. Then I saw one of Lukas' YouTube videos and something clicked. I had to check him out. As soon as we started our initial call, it was clear that the structure of the program, the culture Lukas has established and Lukas' personality was exactly what I needed. Amazing course with results for me. I have studied guitar when i was younger, had a break and then was picking up random youtube or patreon videos. This course is different in every single way: It is not a private lesson, but almost an ideal substitute. It was adapted to my schedule and expectations. It starts from simple advice and exercises and quickly helps you reach your goals through specific milestones. Some of the goals i reached faster than i expected. There are video calls and in general you need to post your progress via video but even for someone like me i felt completely comfortable doing it and saw actual results through it. The instructor, Lukas, is an approachable guy, you can ask any questions and the responses are spot on because the entire course is tailored to you in the first place. This is not a course that you need to follow step by step and then some make it and some don’t. From the start it was adapted specifically to me. Very satisfied.

The course provides everything you need to become an advanced player. The structure is one that keeps you engaged and holds you accountable through many action items that allow you to demonstrate that you’re grasping the given concepts. There’s no way you can’t improve if you simply follow the instructions and stay actively engaged. Great course!

Lukas’ system for guitar playing has been an amazing experience. From his lessons and his team have been very supportive every step of the way. hands down stop wasting your time and money. I've spent thousands of dollars on guitars and amplifiers and pedals.... none of it made me a better player... for the price of one guitar modern guitar course totally reshaped my playing and how I approach practice hands down the best thing i've done for my guitar playing!

I’m only at the beginning of the course, but I already really appreciate how it’s organized. The progression is gradual and well paced, allowing steady improvement without jumping between unrelated lessons. It feels much more structured and consistent.

The best decision I've ever made was to join Modern Guitar Course. It's been a lot to learn but also a lot of fun. Real progress being made but it is up to you to do the exercises and make progress. 20 minutes a day really get you somewhere.
