I have never had a subscription with these people and yet $8.99 CAD has been billed to my credit card AND also my checking account .. "weekly" for the past year. I ignored it for a long time because I assumed it had something to do with my PayPal account. But it does not.

Absolute scam, directors should be imprisoned

This organisation is very clever in scamming payments. I asked for information and ticked a box. No payment was asked for. How PayPal allow this organisation to deal through them is crazy. There are about 200 similar complaints about them here on Trust Pilot. I am not alone

Thi is a scam company. I have been set up on an automatic payment through PayPal without my authorisation. I have requested repayment of these automatic payments. Waiting to hear from them.

I am like everyone else.
I don't even know what Modo Mobi is and what I subscribed to but weekly transactions of $9.99 over the last 9 weeks so nearly $90 out of pocket.

I've had the same bad experience with Modo Mobi (Modo), and PayPal for that matter.
I called PayPal about the unauthorised payment made to the above mentioned scammers (no other way to describe Mobo).
Someone (could he have been associated with Modo?) promised to have the charge reversed as early as possible.
However, I'm still waiting for this to happen.

Why are you taking money without real consent. Just cancelled so called subscription too.

I received a direct debit for $9.99 from my account, and it is a recurring DD which I have managed to cancel. Don't know who Modomobi are and couldn't care less - I did not sign up to anything with them. There is some sort of scam going on here and whether Modomobi are aware of it I don't know - but it needs to be stopped. Seems like Paypal and Google are implicated as well. Modomobi your brand is taking a hammering - do something about it please.

SCAM!! Never signed up for this company or approved any payments via Paypal yet they managed to auto deduct $9.99 weekly until i realised!

I don't know who modomobi are but I had to cancel all my cards to my account because this company started to take $9.99 out of my paypal. I can't stand people that ripped you off, you all should be locked up for robbery.

Just like most other reviewers, I was tricked in to signing up to a PayPal subscription with this company.
In my case it was via a “Start” button on a newly installed app that turned out to be a Google ad embedded in the app. Shame on you Google and PayPal for giving these thieves a path to my wallet.
Thankfully I cancelled immediately.

Was trying to track an order and it claimed I needed to log in using Paypal with $0. Next thing I knew I has an email from Paypal saying to review my automatic payment to them. Not impressed, it links you direct to Paypal and if you are on a recognised device it goes through to Paypal automatically.

Was setting up a subscription to Skynews using Paypal when I actually got connected to Modo Mobi too! Do not recall exactly how that happened but BEWARE!! I could delete the auto payment in Paypal

What a frechen thief. Straight fraud out of PayPal. Modi Mobo Ltd. Taken 2 xaust$9.99 with weekly payments set up. Can not find section of PayPal to change payments so cancelled card. PAYPAL YOU HAVE LOST ME FOR INTERNET PURCHASES. NEVER AGAIN. Have reported to PayPal but I suspect no chance of getting $20 back. Bruce
