I was promised 60-75 minutes for $150. I got 35-40 minutes with left-behind dust and smearing of the dining room table. As I explained to the person on the phone (the manager ignored my request for a return call over several days) the original team was much more conscientious. The last visit was actually 48 minutes, but no improvement in attention to detail. As we are both disabled, we cannot follow the team around and ask for a re-do (also that is not our job). If we cannot get significantly more attention to detail, we will need to find a new service.
Extremely frustrating and disappointing…
Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I requested a quote through their AI chatbot, which assured me multiple times that I would receive an email from the local office “shortly.” That never happened.
I followed up repeatedly over the course of five hours the same day, clearly stating that I had not received anything. Each time, the chatbot simply apologized and continued to make the same empty promises without any actual resolution.
Now, even two days later, I still haven’t received a quote. If the process is already this unreliable and unresponsive at the very first step, it raises serious concerns about the quality of service moving forward.
This was a complete waste of time. I would not recommend using this company based on this experience.

Poor quality, unethical and dishonest
This was my first time using this Cleaning service. I asked for a deep Spring Clean.
The lead cleaning lady Chrissy was very unprofessional and lied about cleaning areas specifically asked about. She missed several areas including the baseboards . She also did not clean up after cleaning the specific area I asked for. The Manager Rebecca gave me a $25 discount and charged $258 after the discount. It's definitely not worth the price as she refused a redo for the missed areas. Poor service and no accountability. They justify their actions by falsely accusing me of being disrespectful to their cleaner. If that was the case she wouldn't have stayed on to finish the clean. In my 20 year of having cleaning services no one has ever accused me of being disrespectful. It's hard to believe she is telling the truth especially after she already lied to me about the cleaning she said completed. Also it wasn't just the vents and the stove oven, she did not clean all of my baseboards, part of the living room. So how do they justify giving a discount just because they missed a vent!!!! Dishonest company. I would not recommend them at all.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Do not use, you will get scammed! We hired Molly Maids for our move-in services. They charged us nearly $700 and did not clean anything except the floors. Bugs everywhere, dirt and dust covering all of the surfaces, inside the drawers and cabinets, soap scum all over the showers. Shameful! We are moving from out of town and have a newborn baby, so we were unable to review the cleaning service before their 24 hour re-clean window, but were able to review the services the next day and called to complain about the services as soon as we saw the extent of the issues. We submitted photo evidence of the cleaner's failure to clean and Molly Maid still refused to perform a reclean or provide a refund. Beware of this terrible, overpriced company! They completely lack empathy regarding the situation and are happy to defraud you! Thank you Molly Maid for the terrible experience, for adding so much additional stress to an already stressful move with a newborn baby! Very sad the way Molly Maid has treated us during this time. Take your business elsewhere! We certainly will never use them again.
Excellent cleaning
Mary Kate and Kelly did an excellent job cleaning my condo. They were thorough.
I wouldn’t recommend them
I wouldn’t recommend them. They clearly stated they wouldn’t charge me more than $585, yet they’re trying to charge $800. On top of that, they didn’t clean everything we agreed on, such as the oven and the garage. They also took my broom and trash can and, to this day, haven’t returned them. Truly unacceptable.
Unclear Pricing and Troubling Customer Experience
Deceptive business practices and unclear pricing.
Despite setting clear expectations, providing a detailed task list, and booking ample time for the job, the service fell far short. The result was overcharging and underperformance.
Customer service was especially concerning. Communication felt unprofessional, and there was a lack of accountability when issues were raised. Most troubling, there was a threat to post photos of our private space in response to an honest review, which is completely inappropriate.
If you choose to book, proceed with caution. I would not recommend this service.
Cost and pain to reward
I wasn’t planning to add anything
further, as I prefer not to go into details that could unnecessarily impact your business.
However, I do want to clarify that this was not a difference in expectations. A detailed checklist was provided in advance and reviewed on-site in both English and Spanish. The issue is that a significant portion of the agreed tasks was not completed.
I also made a good-faith effort to resolve this after the visit.
During that process, I received a message stating: “you don’t want to see those online then stop this,” in reference to posting videos of my home in response to my review.
That type of statement is not appropriate from a customer service perspective.
My review reflects both the service itself and how the situation was handled afterward. Experience – bad Communication, Incomplete Results
I booked a 6-hour cleaning with 2 cleaners and provided a detailed checklist in advance, including in both English and Spanish to make things clear.
The goal was a move-out / show-ready clean with a strong focus on decluttering and trash removal due to mobility limitations.
The team was polite and communication was consistent, which I appreciated.
However, the final result did not fully match the checklist. Some key areas were completed late in the session, and several items from the list were not finished as expected. The outcome felt incomplete compared to what was discussed ahead of time.
I did follow up with the company to try to resolve things, and while I appreciate the response, the process became more complicated than expected.
Overall, I think there is potential here, but better alignment between the agreed plan and execution would make a big difference.
Molly maid scam
We have an open house coming in the next couple days so we got Molly maid to come mop the floors and dust and clean bathrooms, the house was already almost spotless, they said it was going to cost $175 to do, we said ok great. They spent 2 hours doing it today and charged my credit card $402! And they missed a bathroom sink and left streaks on my hardwood floors as well as not dusting lots of areas... They said sorry you were misinformed but that's price there's nothing we can do about it... It's a scam!

Nothing looked and smelled fresh and clean. Top of fridge not done. Obvious dirt on counter and stairs. Toilet still looked dirty. Im not picky usually but this was disappointing. Very nice people but not worth over 300$. Dusting not done behind everything. Only good thing is one carpet and microwave. Awful feeling.

Aggressive tactics
I entered their website and have been getting spammed and bombarded with phone calls all day. Beyond aggressive marketing. That's a big red flag for me. Theyre getting blocked!

I wouldn’t even give them a whole star
I wouldn’t even give them a whole star. I hired Molly Maids for a deep clean for a move out on a home that was already pretty clean-cleaned and staged except for big thins like bathroom, floors, elevator, etc. First of all, I had left the home and when they were done they didn’t tell me they were done, they didn’t lock my front door, and they left my garage wide open. My house was fully unlocked and exposed posing a very big safety risk. They also did a terrible job. My master shower still had dirt and grime in the cobblestone all over the shower. The counters didn’t even look like they were wiped cleaned. I had moved furniture out from the wall and they didn’t even sweep behind it and get it all out. There were still dirt spots all over my tile floor. I specifically asked them to clean my elevator top to bottom when they arrived including doors and walls. I asked them to clean the baseboards, which it looked like they just wiped it and didn’t even try to really get dirt/scuff off of. My oven was still dirty. I could go on. I have included pictures. DO NOT HIRE this company. They also estimated between $292-423 for a 4-hour clean and then said they had to stay an extra 45 min so my rate went to $523 and I was not compensated at all when I was completely dissatisfied with my service. They said they would come back and reclean what I was unhappy with but since my house had to go on the market the following day I had already recleaned everything and it took me over 2 hours to do so going back over their work and they said since they didn’t get the opportunity to fix it, there was nothing else they could do except offer a floor clean while the house is still on the market. I declined and asked to not be up charged. They refused. Do not let these people near your home.

Two lovely ladies, two hours and now everything is clean. Absolutely fabulous experience, will be doing a monthly clean from now on. Worth every penny
I received a first time quote for…
I received a first time quote for services. Although they were prompt with the quote, I thought it was high because size of my house. They have too many rigid rules with scheduled and rescheduled appts and extra charges. They want you to pay by check or cash, but then they want a credit card on file. If you use it,you are charged an extra fee.
On follow up a week or so later after I got a quote, Molly Maids called me nonstop for 2 days and left messages to call them including one call at 7:30am. How unprofessional!
I'm glad I found out how unprofessional they are before I started service. I told Molly Maids I was no longer interested in doing business with them. Perhaps, if you're considering them, think twice!
Does not stand behind their work
I have used Molly Maids since they first came to Albuquerque under the previous owners. Minerva has been my team leader for about 8- 10 years. I’ve been pleased with the work that they have done and the speed with which they did it. In the past, there have been accidents where things got broken or damaged and Molly Maids has always stood behind it and repaired the damage. Last week, they scratched my stainless steel stove top. This was not a small scratch and whoever did it would have known immediately what had happened. In fact, they called me to tell me there was a scratch on the stove top that they couldn’t get out and they took pictures. Why would they do that unless they knew there was going to be a problem? They sent a supervisor out to look at it and the maids claimed that it was like that when they got here. It most definitely was not. The girl in the office called me a liar. Minerva knows what happened and that’s for her to live with. If you think you’re paying extra by having Molly Maids as your service, think again. I have canceled my service – not because they scratched my stove top because things happen but because they called me a liar.
