I was a paralegal and got offered a role at Merc I quit my job thinking it’s a great opportunity and found myself working in a data entry role for 1 year they kept promising I would get to do legal work month after month but this never came and than everyone’s contracts got cut without any warning - I lost my house as i was unable to pay rent - this company ruined my life and legal career. What a waste of a time.

Misrepresentation at its worst and I think they a due a heavy legal case sooner or later because all they care about is the money they make from clients - also if you are a client don’t work with them as their leadership is just shouting down the chain to appear that we are good for the client however - there is no actual integrity .

They frequently reach out to contractors to check in on project progress, which initially seems proactive. However, when serious or concerning issues are raised, they consistently fail to take meaningful action. What’s more troubling is that I’m not the only one who’s experienced this-others have had similar concerns ignored. It gives the impression that they care more about appearances than actually resolving problems. If you’re considering working with them, proceed with caution and document everything.

Absolutely diabolical!! Last October they told me they were putting me forward for a quality checker role on good money, the guy then went on annual leave and my case was left sitting there. I phoned up and was told I had passed the interview and they are the ones who give the jobs so there is nothing to worry about. I received a call from another girl a few days later telling me I definitely a different job since THAT ONE WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE, but I had the job albeit on less money. I asked her 2 or 3 times “have I definitely got it” and she said yes!! I then cancelled my interview process with EY, a job i would have walked into since I done the same role before. Momenta left about FIVE OR SIX working days to do the background checks and told me they couldn’t be done in time. I wasn’t informed there was a deadline but how on earth can you leave such little time for an AML KYC role???!!?! That quick little phone call was the only call I got. I had no job over Christmas and eventually lost my appartment. They never reached out for a call ever again and spent AGES getting back to me. And worse part is… THEY DONT RECORD CALLS!!! They can promise what they want over the phone to keep you on the fence.

Stay away from this company.

I have been working on a project for Momenta for almost 2 years now. This was my first project with them. Onboarding was all smooth and I was kept informed along the way. When meeting my colleagues on the project, it was clear the Team Leaders and Project manager were very experienced, which helped settling in. Both my team leader and the project manager were approachable and open to our suggestions to improve the process. They then engaged the client to make a number improvements. This showed how much they valued everyone on the project, particularly the experienced case handlers.

I would happily work on another project with Momenta in the future when this one comes to an end.

I've worked on multiple projects through Momenta Group over the course of my Financial Services career, and I've always felt they are an excellent agency. One who is genuinely invested in best placing your skillset to the roles they have available.

They have a great onboarding service which is smooth and efficient, ensuring everything is set up prior to your start date. Once on the project, they offer regular check ins and are very approachable with any questions you may have.

They always welcome feedback on ways to improve which I believe is a great trait, and is one of the many reasons they are such an esteemed agency. I would highly recommend Momenta Group as an agency to work for.

Having contracted for 13 years, I have dealt with a number of agencies (some who are unsurprisingly no longer even running), and I can honestly say that my experience with Momenta, over multiple contracts, has been exceptional.

The reason that Momenta get to provide resource to high profile clients is because they are consummate professionals at what they do; employing great staff who source and maintain relationships with high calibre contractors. This is achieved through timely, transparent communications and meritocratic based placements/opportunities; it is rare for a contractor to have only had one placement with Momenta.

They also hire highly-skilled managers, with vast experience, to provide clear leadership and solution-based recommendations that exceed their client’s needs.

I thought a lot of these reviews were just disgruntled ex contractors/people with an axe to grind - But these reviews are deadly accurate.

Applied for a role I am more than suitable for, with over 12 years experience doing the exact same thing they have a 'contract' for. Two weeks with no response, I call for an update and go all around the houses to actually speak to someone - No timeframe given for a response, no additional information given on the role, and couldn't even speak to the team recruiting for the position.

Sent an email for my details to be removed from their website because it wouldn't surprise me if these guys were using a recruitment business to data mine people applying for roles. Don't upload anything to this site, they're useless.

I found DPO address in their Contrator Privacy Policy -- which is one of two Privacy Policies that I found for them, but only c/o Google. They also have an info@ address, it's at the very foot of their website, in teeny writing.

Also note:
If you register with Momenta but don't upload anything > then any and everytime you *login* to Momenta (with same email address and password) they will email you (immediately) with a template "Your registration has been successful" email that asks you to upload a CV.

I had four such emails, of old, in my Inbox, that baffled me (Did i register with them 4x? Surely not) until I realised these were generated from me logging in. (I can provide these emails in evidence). The email title is misleading.

Fourth login (10.08.2024) was when I uploaded CV -- then I came here to read others reviews and changed my mind about dealing with them.

They build peoples hopes up , get them all motivated and then they fall into a long drawn out process , having to wait a few weeks for first call , then another few weeks for another call all to download an app , that takes all of 5 minutes . After which you can book an appointment , however no appointments exist on website. The 12 weeks is getting perilously close to Christmas , where obviously no-one wants to be in the middle of their 12 weeks first stage , so now wants to drop out . Also the supplier Extante , website states all products out of stock . Appalling service

Dumpster fire. Started in March as a motor finance claims handler, was supposed to be until July, only to be told after 2 weeks training, accreditation, and a month of work that the the project's being 'restructured' and a number of us were being let go. Their only concern was collecting the 20 year old barely working laptop they gave me, obviously couldn't care less how that looks on my CV.

I have applied for several roles, some where I have a great deal of experience and others where I have just finished a job in the same field and I get declined every time. I am pretty sure the jobs are not legit and neither is the company

I have applied for a number of roles through Momenta since 2021 and till date haven't secured even a single interview with the client despite having a degree and extensive experience in the field. I'm not sure whether the jobs they advertise even exist. Whenever I have applied, I either get an automated unsuccessful email or an email saying there is a recruitment delay. It's such a waste of time and a terrible company. I will send a GDPR request and get them to delete all my data.

Automated Scam: To quote Julia's review, I apply for a role for which I (easily) met the criteria, within 2-5 minutes I receive an automated email, first acknowledging receipt of the application, immediately followed by a rejection.
Avoid Momenta Group for any employment related work/contracts. I'm almost certain its setup to gather candidate data. I've submitted a GDPR request to delete my profile and submitted documents. It will be interesting to see if this is honoured.
