Worse service delivery ever...Run away now!!!

At first my documents were never attached to my application for over 6 weeks, after numerous calls to them managed to link documents then delivery scandal... Fingerprint reader doesn't work and when you ask for an alternative they promise lies and still proceed with finger prints method which never works.. I'm still waiting for my phone till now...

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They promised they will deliver as I have ordered a phone and activated a debit order for such a device ever since I haven't heard from them, I've sent email several times with no response. I wouldn't advice anyone to do business with mondo. They are crooks

Mondo Mobile harassing calls 4 to 5…

Mondo Mobile harassing calls 4 to 5 times a day. My phone on Do Not Disturb or off 99% of the day. But seems the system is set to call you on a constant basis. Not interested as I have 2 Mtn contracts but Mtn consultant at Help Desk told me to install Truecaller. Downside of Truecaller is that I found out by accident they copy your clipboard to their system as soon as you delete it.

Mondo and being unprofessional I’m…

Mondo and being unprofessional I’m waiting for my device your driver called when he was at my Gate when I clearly told them to call me an hour before he was so rude and didn’t even communicate as to when he will deliver my phone if he will anyway. Hectic poor customer care I regret accepting your offer it has been nothing but stressful. Will I ever get the mobile device?

"You may not be able to have the package that you've approved since it has expired."

"Sir, by the end of this month the upgrade will be active."

Basically heard that 8 times now.

Poor customer service and accurate…

Poor customer service and accurate communication. Lack of efficiency in solving queries and expediting issues.
Some of Call center assistants are so unprofessional nor empathetic to customer situations,definitely working to get a paycheck at the end of the month and not for the sustainability of the business.

1 Month later - MTN AND MONDO STILL SCAMMING CONSUMERS

1 Month later, I have not received my credits of R2322 and the installments of R422 for both April and May. I am being sent from pillar to post with no clear patch whatsoever. Now I am being told to deal with MTN who is just as horrible. I was called by a Thandeka weeks ago who overpromised onece again to sort it out but it seems that this company is determined to make a fool of me. Pleaswe please do not sign up with them for any MTN my Home services.!!!!

Lad from Eganville very pleased with the service!

I run a seasonable business in Eganville, about 90 minutes west of Ottawa, in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. After laying dormant all winter unused in my ticket kiosk and probably frozen the screen was blue and read "irruption." I got on the phone with Ian in Montreal (sorry Ian I heard your last name but have forgotten). Ian could not have been more helpful getting us our new POS terminal and helping me set some personalized options on it. As it turns out Ian is familiar with my neck of the woods ...... a lot of folks don't have any idea where Eganville is. A lady called me to sign up for WiFi with them for R399 a month but when it was time to pay it was R699. when it came it was not working so I sent it back October 2022 till now April 2023 the account has not been cancelled. I call and email but they keep giving me stories. This company is a scam

Lying, misleading and extortion

A Lady called and said that since I am such a loyal paying customer I won a laptop and there are no costs involved. A month later I start paying R500 extra on my Mtn contract for a “8gb bundle” included in this bundle there is a mercer laptop valued at R2500. So I end up paying R500 for 36 months, totaling up to R18000 for a crappy laptop and 8gb of “video” data I can only use to watch series on showmax!?
This is straight up lying and extortion.

MONDO IS USELESS

I made an enquiry on the MTN website in November 2022 for a new contract. MTN uses Mondo as a third-party company to assist with contracts.

I got a call from Mondo on the 25th November 2022 to finalise my contract, during this call I specifically asked if I would be able to port my CELLC number over to MTN to be linked to my contract, the consultant said it will be done once I receive my sim card by contacting MTN.

When I received my phone I did not receive a sim card with it.

I called Mondo and was asked to visit an MTN branch to get a sim and to get my number ported.

After going in to 2 MTN branches where I was told Mondo needs to provide the sim or I will be charged for a sim swap and I will not be able to link my existing number to my contract and I would have 2 sims - a contract sim and my existing number ported to a prepaid sim, I then called Mondo AGAIN, I was then told that I need to go back to MTN buy a sim and port my number and then contact Mondo again to get a sim swap done.

On Thursday 2nd March I requested a sim swap to be done by Mondo, they requested the sim number for my number to be linked to and they confirmed the number that will be linked.

On the 15th March, my sim stopped working completely, I get an error that says my sim is not provisioned.

Since then I have made 6 calls to Mondo and 2 calls to MTN and my sim is still not working, IT IS NOW THE 24TH OF MARCH. They have linked my number to a sim that I do not have.

I have been asked to put the sim in that I received with the phone but I DID NOT GET ONE!!!

Mondo keeps telling me that the sim swap is done and I need to wait 48 hours each time.

IF YOU EVER TRY TO TAKE OUT AN MTN CONTRACT MAKE SURE MONDO IS NOT HANDLING IT, THEY ARE USELESS!!!!!!

I was called for an upgrade

I was called for an upgrade. The lady that i spoke to falsely sold me a package, she told me that the data will be 150 gigs day data and 150 night data to my suprise the day data was broken into music and other nonsense things that i don't even know. Now i want to cancel my contract, i am charged a huge cancelation fee.

I want to complain about Nedbank…

I want to complain about Nedbank Homeloans division.
They have been deducting bond payments since November/December 2022. The same payment also goes off from my salary stoporder. They once refunded my money after i had to harass them constantly 4times. i received an email in January to say the debit order was stopped. Now February 2023 it went off again today. Ive been told by thandeka i can only get the money in 3-5 days. So now, what happens to my other debit orders, what do i explain to the debtors. I am sick of frustration. If this is the wrong platform, please forward it appropriately or inform me via this platform how to do it. Ashley van Schoor, Randall Green, Claudine Pillay you have given me the poorest service ever. What a shame NEDBANK!!

Charged almost 10k for a contract cancelled within cooling off period

Took a Black Friday data deal with MTN. 1TB for R699. Was assured the contract allowed data share but after testing it out, found out there's no data share on fixed LTE.

Fine, phoned MTN to cancel the contract within the cooling off period. Returned the router+UPS that came with the contract, Dealt with a company called 'Mondo' which apparently handles MTN cancellations?

I confirmed the contract was cancelled. Still got debited R924 by MTN on January 3rd, prorata for December + January cycle. Phoned Mondo and they assured me i would be refunded this amount and will not get debited again.

Here's the kicker: Got this SMS today:

"Y'ello! Just a friendly reminder that your MTN debit order of R 8450.41 will go off on 01-Feb-2023. Have a good month!"

What? What's going on? phoned MTN and they said the contract is still active and they cannot do anything from their side. I will have to deal with Mondo. How is this allowed? My contract is with MTN, how can they not have any power over this?
