Sent the wrong fabric and style with any product labels or sizes total mess

This company must be avoided at all costs. I ordered 2 pairs of leather shoes, which were supposed to arrive within 5 days. What arrived, 3 weeks later, were cheap imitation leather shoes which smelt of synthetic chemicals and glue. I realise that I should have read their returns policy more carefully before buying, so I unhappily accepted I had to pay the £20 to send the shoes back to China. This was a complicated process, due to the customs form that had to be completed. Montcliffe were very keen to offer me a discount on my next purchase instead of agreeing to refund me. As if I would ever buy anything from them again! However, nearly a month after they first assured me that my refund has been processed, I have still not received any refund from them and am pursuing the matter through my bank. Any responses to my emails seems to be AI generated, and offer vague assurances instead of specific information. Do not ever, ever, use this company.

Ordered 1st Sept quoted 3 days not here yet, tried to contact not responding.

I finally received the shoes! They were awful! They are advertised as suede/leather. However, they are made from some cheap synthetic cardboard material that stinks of chemicals! The fit is horrendous and the sole is made of a soft foam material that won't last 2 minutes if worn! The shoe liner is some kind of cardboard the looks very cheap and feels uncomfortable!

I have thrown them straight in the bin!!!!

I stand by my previous claim, these sellers are scammers! They advertise quality fashion items but send cheaply made crap!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not follow the standard returns policy that is on their website..asked me to send measurements of my item - see below to justify a return. Now I’ve discovered I’ve got to pay postage back to china!! What a scam.
“To help us properly review your concern and assist you with the next steps, could you please send us a few clear photos of the boots, including a photo of the size tag/label and photos showing the relevant measurements using a measuring tape?”

Awful company, product terrible with worse customer service! Shoes shockingly poor quality that stink of burnt plastic.

This company is a scam with products to be sent back to China at a material cost to the customer! DO NOT buy from this company!!

Does not send you the product that is pictured. It is a landfill worthy version of it. Don't bother even trying it if you think it's cheaper. Just avoid. This and montanello.co.uk are the same! You have to pay to return in to china and you have to ask permission to do so! Terrible. Avoid avoid avoid!

Montcliffe is a sister company of Montanello. Both of these entities are based in the Netherlands and are operated by the same people. They are a “drop shipping” scam operating from China!

My partner and I have both been scammed separately, my partner by Montanello and me by Montcliffe! They send sub standard clothing that doesn’t match the description in any way shape or form. It’s literately unwearable crap fit for the bin!

Returns are a nightmare, you have to pay the shipping costs back to China and they will only offer you a 40% refund!

They post fake reviews to build up their trustpilot score. Shortly after a bad review is posted, a new fake ‘good’ review is put up to balance the score!

Check out the trustpilot reviews for Montanello, they are shockingly bad! Montanello and Montcliffe are the same people!!!!

My partner and I lost £210 due to these scum bags.

Please don't fall for these scammers like we did, do your research!

I ordered 3 products from them and the quality is great unlike other stores. The shipping is quite Longer than usual but that's okay coz Their customer service give me update constantly..

Absolutely disgusting – avoid this website!

The quality of the clothes I received was extremely poor and, in my opinion, completely unwearable. The products certainly did not match what was advertised.

What made matters worse was discovering that I had to pay the return postage to China. This ended up being extremely expensive and very frustrating.

Overall, I feel completely misled by my purchase and would strongly advise others to stay away from this website. In my experience, it was a huge waste of money and a very disappointing customer service experience.

Think very carefully before ordering!!!

Ordered a linen button-up shirt and a pair of trousers from Montcliffe. The fabric quality and fit are actually really nice true to size and comfortable to wear. My only slight complaint is that standard delivery took a few extra days to arrive in the UK. Overall, very satisfied with the clothes and will likely order again!

The shirt fits well, fabric is soft and comfortable.
