Our records confirm that we spoke directly with the client on January 15, at which time the concerns raised were addressed. During that conversation, the client requested cancellation of services; the account was formally canceled the same day, and the matter was fully resolved.

At no point was communication ignored, and the file was handled in accordance with documented procedures. While we understand that financial hardship situations are stressful and emotions can run high, we take accuracy, transparency, and client care seriously.

We wish the client well moving forward and respect their decision to pursue other options.

Additionally, our office is actively preparing and sending correspondence to the credit bureaus concerning another creditor, as part of the resolution process currently underway. Please note that dashboards may not always reflect real-time activity, particularly when disputes, negotiations, or bureau communications are in progress. This does not mean that work has not been performed on your file.

The firm categorically disputes the characterization of Morning Law Group as a “scam” or any suggestion of deceptive or fraudulent conduct.

Miriam enrolled voluntarily in March 2025 after executing a written legal services agreement that clearly disclosed the scope of services, billing terms, and cancellation rights. Beginning in April 2025, monthly payments of $305 were processed in accordance with that agreement.

Throughout her enrollment, Miriam was assigned a dedicated Legal Counsel and case team. Our records reflect extensive, ongoing communication, including multiple inbound and outbound calls addressing her questions, case status, and creditor activity. Contrary to the allegations, the firm did not ignore or evade her; there were repeated back-and-forth conversations logged on her file.

In addition, the firm collected and submitted FDCPA documentation on her behalf and initiated dispute and compliance-based actions related to her creditors as part of the legal process. The receipt of a creditor summons does not indicate inaction or fraud—it reflects the reality that creditor litigation timelines are outside the firm’s control and are precisely why legal representation and FDCPA enforcement are required.

When Miriam submitted a termination request, the firm acknowledged it and began the standard account closure process. She has since spoken with our team, and her refund is currently being processed. Her file is now in the final stage of closure in accordance with firm procedures.

The firm rejects the allegation that funds were taken without services being provided. Legal, administrative, compliance, and dispute-based work was performed throughout the term of her enrollment.

We remain committed to completing the closure of this matter and issuing the refund already approved.
