Great website, good choice of wadding and a competitive price.Mine arrived in good time and is perfect for the job (lining a jacket). Will definitely use Morris works again.
As usual just a simple thing to make an order of good quality batting, which is delivered three/ four days later. An ace company to deal with and one I shall continue to use so long as I am sewing!

Fantastic customer service
I ordered a zip which came very quickly, lovely quality item, well packaged. I needed some advice about it and the response from Gabrielle was wonderful - she talked me through a solution to my zip query and emailed me some video links. I have bought several different fabrics…
I have bought several different fabrics from this shop and the quality of the fabric has always been excellent. Its always beautifully wrapped with sturdy paper and little stickers on the paper that make me smile when I come to unwrap it .It makes it an enjoyable experience.

I had searched everywhere for 100% cotton batting for my oven gloves and Morris Works Quilt Shop had the perfect one at a great price!
Ordered immediately as well as some 100% cotton thread and received my order promptly a few days later 😊 Well done Morris Works 👌🏼

A good selection of fabric
A good selection of fabric.
Can wait quite a while to be served as only one area for cutting and what you buy is all noted down by hand and then entered into computer, which seemed laborious, but actually it was helpful as it means you get an email receipt showing all you have bought inc pic of fabric and name, as well as quantity bought....which is really helpful as a reference if you need to buy more, which I do...and can place order online!
Avoid parking in nearby road, cost me £10 for 2 hours!! Better to park and walk (you could park in the old King Alfred leisre centre and walk along the front) and I heard others in the shop recommending getting a bus.
There was a class going on while I was there too.
The website is really good and also includes helpful info.
Check opening hours before you go as not 9-5.
