Fantastic morning with Neil,giving us a fascinating tour of the vineyard and winery, a delicious cocktail and generous tasting of four wines. Highly recommended.

We were bought the full tour gift voucher for Christmas and books in February. We had such a lovely time. It was interesting and tasty! We also opted for a charcuterie board at the end which we paid extra for.

Right from the start, from Jordans SA, Melanie to the welcome through Christy at Mousehall, the booking procedure was flawless. The assistance, interest and accommodation of our requests was amazing. The welcome at Mousehall (thanks Gary), the Oast house which is stunning, cozy and homely to the "complete experience" wine and gin tasting (thanks Cathy and Nick), inclusive of the walk around the vineyards was superb. Excited to see English wines and gins being made in East Sussex and Mousehall supporting local cheese producers and working toward environmentally sound processes. My family loved it and its one of the best birthday celebrations we have had. Thank you to the entire team of Mousehall. A weekend we shall not forget.

We had such a good time! We did the joint experience (wine and spirits) with a tour. We learnt a lot, and we were very impressed with an English red wine (which we didn't expect). It's a small vineyard, smaller than others, but it's genuinely absolutely lovely and clearly growing very fast. Definitely do a tour and tasting, and support them in any way you can. I specifically recommend their red wine!

The Sussex Dry Gin is a real treat. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

The wine from Mousehall is fantastic and they provide a very good service with ordering and delivery. They make beautiful English wine.

Nestled deep in the Sussex countryside, this oast house is a little oasis. The property has been recently renovated and care has clearly been taken in its restoration.

The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook several very large roasts for five people - however we did bring a few extra roasting pans to accommodate this (which we do for anywhere we visit). The Aga is effective, but like every Aga is very unique in the way it operates. Don't assume it's similar to a gas or induction hob/oven.

The rooms are all well appointed, each with their own ensuite and very comfortable beds. We all loved the showers - really warm and powerful. The copper bath in the master suite was heavily used. The only thing to note was the ground floor room can become a little cool overnight in the winter, but this is not a surprise given the age of the property. The wood stove is easy to use and produces a great amount of heat though.

The wood fired hot tub was also an excellent addition. Depending on the starting temp of the water, it can take a few hours to heat up, but do be careful, it's extremely easy to overheat the water! There is only one other house visible from the tub, but everything is angled for privacy - there's a tree, that when in full bloom will block all views from any neighbour.

Nick and Christie were wonderful hosts, answering my many annoying questions in the lead up to the weekend, and helping us throughout the weekend too.We also took the wine tour with Nick. This was a great little diversion. The wines were lovely and hearing about the family plans for the future of the vineyard was fun. We hope to come back in the future!

Delicious gin - lovely bottle. Seen on Alan Titchmarsh programme … from East Sussex and had a friend who lived in Wadhurst 😍 I am an original Gin Connoisseur, we started the Gin Revolution with our own (Secret) Gin Club - SGD- tasting, pairing and enjoying!

A truly special experience at Mousehall! The award-winning Tidebrook Wines, beautiful botanicals, and unique Dorper sheep made for an unforgettable visit.

Our host, Nick, was fantastic — so engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate. It was especially lovely listening to my Dad reminisce about his childhood; the setting brought back so many happy memories for him.

You can really feel the heart behind this authentic, family-run business. Highly recommend!

Beautifully appointed Oast House and welcoming and helpful owners. I would recommend the spirit and wine tasting experience too.

one can get 250ml of a good wine for 12GBP at most restuarants

This is my very favourite gin...and I've tasted many! Lovely strong traditional flavour.

arrived when expected, presentation looks great in the gift wrapped box, the recipient looked impressed when she opened it howe as for the important bit, the taste, I cannot comment as it has not yet been sampled!!

What a lovely place and great workmanship in making their wines and spirits. Tucked away in a beautiful part of Kent a real labour of love has created a really special place. The tasting experience with Nick was so informative and the wines and spirits are definitively worth a visit

Located just outside of Mayfield, this wonderful wine estate is a must-visit for those who enjoy fine wine and spirits. The owners of the outstanding Jordan's Wine's Estate in South Africa have brought their wine making skill to Mousehall and are redefining English still wines to become world class wines and award winning spirits. The spirit and wine tasting experience is always a treat. Very personable experience and you cannot avoid their passion for what they do. Mousehall is a "must do" for those living locally and for tourists.

Tommy our guide was delightful.
We were welcomed with a delicious elderflower cocktail of which the liqueur was made on site.
The 4 wines we tasted were delicious and we were very impressed by the winery.

We had a wonderful stay at Mousehall Oast. The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. Nick gave us a really interesting tour of the winery and we enjoyed our wine tasting. Christy was extremely helpful. This is an exciting family enterprise.
