Complicated case and not used the system before but luckily I called MPowered and spoke to Rob who has been amazingly helpful and supportive with this case. He has sorted out the system/case issues and was always available on the end of the phone with the further queries I had. Thank you Rob for you help, support and efficient service, much appreciated !

I am a Broker, and have previously found a few things frustrating. After placing an application with them recently, I received a call from the lovely Angela, the Underwriter on the case.

Angela was great to speak to, and it was so refreshing to speak with an UW and be able to gain an understanding of certain things.

After seeing this review Mpowered agreed to look into it further and we are now content with the outcome.

I wanted to port my mortgage which they state all mortgages are portable. I was refused to do this even though the loan amount was staying the same, the term was staying the same, the monthly repayments which we have never defaulted on are staying the same. The risk factor would be staying the same. I have a great credit score.
All we were asking for was a change of postcode, nothing else on the loan we are already paying was changing.
The move was so my wife could go back to work after having a baby. We wanted to be financially better off for our family and Mpowered have declined our right to do this. They refuse to use logical thinking and take their customers best interests into account. We were mislead by there unclear website which they admitted could be “clearer” in their letter to us. We took a risk ourselves remortgaging to them over a year ago as we had never heard of Mpowered. That was a huge mistake and I hope that others do not make the same mistake with going with this unknown lender like we did. Like Nick and Lyiannah wrote in their letters and emails to us “Halifax risk profile is much more broad and their risk appetite is much broader than Mpowered” clearly going with mainstream KNOWN lenders is better for customers than going with Mpowered, the employees even suggest this too. We are taking our case to the financial ombudsman.

After placing a case where clients were splitting titles on completion with another lender who promised to lend but then decided not to I came across MPowered Mortgages. After a brief discussion with my BDM, Simon Clark, and providing him a brief outline via email he was able to get this pre-authorised by underwriting just before Christmas. We subsequently applied and got the case agreed and offered within 2 weeks and completed last week.
Fantastic service from start to finish with a common sense lending approach going 'outside criteria' when the rest of the high street said no

Honestly incredibly easy to navigate the portal, personal touch where the underwriter rang me to thank me for the business and to tell me it has been offered.

Great interest rate for the client. Offer came out in 1hour30mins! Really easy to submit the case. Great use of technology to make it easier for me as a broker. Only drawback was they couldn't offer the client a term of 28yr and 5months but only 28yrs exactly. Would have hoped for more flexibility in a digital age.

The service is remarkably fast, efficient and transparent. Ably assisted by Teri at MPower, FTB purchase going to offer in 2 hours. First time used and wont be the last time.

Great service .Very smooth application process and was dealt very quickly by the underwriter Teri Mann.
All documents checked in less then 1 hour and valuation instructed. This was my first case with MPowered and it went effortless.

I dealt with Teri at Mpowered. Within a few minutes of submitting the application I received a call from the lovely Teri letting me know a couple of tweaks that needed to be made to the application.

I added a few more documents to the case and got another call soon after confirming that the underwriting had been completed and the agent would be contacted today for the valuation. All super-quick and seamless.

Unfortunately this was for a flat so no AVM was available, otherwise I'm sure there would have been a good chance of a same-day mortgage offer!

Mortgage Offered after just 2 days following physical valuation. I will definitely use Mpowered again, especially when time is a factor.

Excellent knowledge and very engaging and efficient when helping with queries, on a number of occasions. A genuine pleasure to deal with.

The case initially went awry outside of MPowered's control but Teri at MPowered dealt quietly and efficiently to get it put back on track and to offer, 1st class all round!

This is my first experience of working with MPower and I have to say I am so impressed with the portal, how streamlined and efficient it all is and what I find particularly useful is that it gives you updated credit bureau information / commitments the applicants have outstanding which I have come across with any lenders before and it is absolutely groundbreaking.

This has been my first experience of Lichelle Samara , my MPower BDM. I have been extremely impressed with dedication support , her communication is clear and Concise and Lichelle is always willing to help and seems to be available no matter what time of day I have sent emails requesting support
Lichelle Product knowledge and system knowledge is outstanding and I have every confidence in working with MPower again based on my experience of Lichelle. more importantly, Lichelle genuinely demonstrates a very high level of care for MPower customers

What a pleasant surprise. An challenger lender, true to their word, leading the way with innovation to make life easier for brokers, clients and their own staff by using technology to present data during the application with transparency, and designing a system to make getting a formal mortgage offer more likely every time.

Really competitive products, smart, efficient and pen underwriting, the best technology solution in the marketplace by far and a wonderful BDM in Ryan Best who is honest, efficient and most importantly available when needed. It took a while to get the tech to match up with the promises, but the time has arrived and once people realise MPowered have it nailed, this could truly be game changing to force the more traditional lenders to look at how they use tech and what is actually possible. I will not hesitate to recommend MPowered to clients, and I'll be encouraging colleagues to give them a try as I think once they have, they won't look back.

From AIP to Full Application, the system was an absolute breeze. So quick to use and intuitive. Case underwritten within 24 hours. Would recommend to anyone. Especially if you're looking to a speedy application.

The application process is very easy and the underwriter is actually picking up the phone and calls if he has any questions. Its very refreshing. Gerry was fabulous.
