I had ordered the spices on Diwali discount, original garam masala/old delhi butter chicken, Kashmiri rogan josh ans prissy lamb ran spice blend. I found the best before date has been altered. For the first 3 tins there’s a sticker with BBE12/27 stuck on the bottom of the tin. On peeling it back, I found BBE 12/26. This means the company is obviously manipulating the date to mislead customers. This is clearly unethical and presents a very poor image of the company. Totally disappointed.

This is the second time I use Mrs. BALBIR SINGH Curry spices and I find there is no flavour I have to add my Curry to get a flavour. I find it very disappointing to pay so much money when you think you get something really delicious and its bland as ever, sorry not for me, I’m gonna give away what I purchased, you messed up my Curry! There is no pungent smelling of the Curry that I know of it’s dead the packaging is nice Pity the flavour , I don’t think I’m doing very good with the Indians I purchased Tea from tea box it is horrible ! This Curry is big disappointment whoever is giving this great review are not genuine customers . Maybe be paid??…..

Received my order today and all looks and smells great.

There was a delay by Royal Mail, not their fault, but they replied quickly and professionally which helped a lot!

Had to leave a review as it was Great customer service and looking forward to cooking soon!

I so wanted to like this, they sound amazing but after purchasing a number of the tins I'm left disappointed.
I've used the Tandoori rub over a full chicken and followed the recipe to the letter, very little to no flavour at all.
I've also used the Mughlai Keema Masala mixes and followed the recipe to the letter, it was just disappointing again.
I feel I've wasted £40 on spices I won't use again as the other tins I bought I now dont want to use. I'm not sure if it's the mix of spices or the actual recipe card that isn't right.

this company produces a great array of spices which allows you to create fantastic curries that are in my opinion superior to takeaways one of my favourites is the goan vindaloo but the other spices are equally delicious. the company delivers your orders promptly with no fuss which is a bonus these days.

Indian cooking in our house has gone up several levels the product is fantastic

I love these spices im so proud to say my sons and partners and my husband regularly request a Indian night we all get together 6/ 8 of us usually but there has been 10 before, I usually do Buttered Chicken Lamb rogan josh veg Biriani poppadoms Nann Bread and pilau rice My sons are allways mopping the dishes out with the left over Nann Ive also done Keema and Chicken massalla they are all incredible
My freind & her husband came and was convinced id ordered it all from the take away but everyone has said this is above & behond their local take aways

All of the products I have bought from Mrs Balbir Singh have been excellent quality. I enjoy making curries and the products plus recipe cards are very good at helping to produce great meals. Sorry to hear of negative reviews. Not my experience at all!

Restaurant quality curries at below takeaway prices, you won’t regret buying these spices .
I have tried several spice kits and these are by far the best I have found I could not believe the flavours that hit you when you taste the finished products all this from a few teaspoons of spices.
I would fully recommend these products don’t look anywhere else 10/10,

My go to for curry really authentic flavours and super easy to follow recipes

I'm a regular customer with Mrs Balpir Singh and I won't go anywhere else for my spices as they are absolutely outstanding. I have recommended them to other people who are equally happy with them. Customer service is also excellent.

I’ve used a wide range of the spice blends, alongside the available recipes. Always such amazing, delicious results.
Whatever your curry preference, or for using rubs for your BBQs, these are the most authentic blends I’ve ever tried.

Absolutely Incredible – A Flavour Explosion in Every Pinch!
I cannot rave enough about these curry spices! From the moment I opened the packet, the rich aroma took me back to the old spice market of Delhi. The blend is perfectly balanced — not too spicy, not too mild — just a deep, flavourful harmony that elevates every dish it touches.
I’ve used these spices in everything from classic chicken curry to old Delhi butter chicken and rubbed them on lamb for a cracking joint. Every time, I use these the result is bold, authentic, and absolutely mouthwatering. What I love most is the freshness — you can tell this isn’t your average store-bought blend. It smells and tastes like it was ground just yesterday!
If you're even thinking about adding more flavour to your cooking, do yourself a favour and grab these spices, the keralan coconut curry is amazing. Whether you're a curry connoisseur or just starting out, these spice blends will change the way you cook. Five stars for an amazing blend of spices and great customer service.

The spices are very good and the recipe cards are really helpful
I don’t buy any other spices

I love all of them ❤️ The “mix” of spices make each home cooked curry taste very authentic. The rubs are amazing for the bbq. I have repeat purchased as well as experimenting with new ones.

The only spices I ever buy - follow the recipe card beautifully written and use these authentic spices for a truly wonderful authentic experience - better than going to the restaurant !

I have overtime bought many and varied mixes from this firm. I have prepared meals for various guests who always comment on the absolute genuine taste of each meal. All credit to blenders of these mixes. Will certain continue to purchase from Mrs Balbirsingh.

I have been spoiled by having a Indian brother in law who is a master in the kitchen . I tried to cook Indian dishes but never managed to get that true authentic taste and a depth.
Well with these spices and cards I have now managed to make beautiful Indian dishes which I'm proud of and which my friends love.
Easy to follow recipes and ideas for side dishes. Totally recommend.

I love Mrs Singhs spices. They are do easy to use. Cant remember the last time we bought an indian takeaway. Deliveries are always quick and on time.
