Beautiful food. Lovely atmosphere and amazing service

Absolutely disgraceful experience. I would strongly urge anyone to avoid this restaurant, particularly for special occasions.

We booked a table for 6:00pm to celebrate my father in law’s 60th birthday, yet we didn’t leave until 9:15pm. The service was completely unacceptable — after finishing our starters, we waited over two hours for our mains. During this time, staff ignored us entirely. There was no communication, no apology, and no sense of urgency. By the time the food finally arrived, the children had lost interest and the evening was effectively ruined.

The situation with the birthday cake was even more shocking. We had provided our own cake, and when we went to check on it, we found staff tampering with it. The number “6” candle had been snapped, and a staff member was attempting to glue it back together using superglue directly over the cake. This is not only highly unprofessional but also completely unhygienic. Even more concerning, the staff member appeared to find the situation funny by laughing and smirking at my mother in law.

While the food itself was decent, it does not make up for the appalling service, lack of basic hygiene standards, and complete disregard for customers — especially on such an important occasion.

This experience completely ruined my father in law’s 60th birthday. We will not be returning, and I would strongly discourage others from dining here.
