We cannot thank Rajni enough for her advice and guidance throughout the 4+ process. Not only she gave us tailored advice on suitable schools based on my daughter's personality and ability, she took total emotional ownership in providing the most detailed and through assessment report on my girl. This give us a solid base to help her and guide her in an enjoyable manner. The result is my girl got offers in two of her favorite schools as well as ours !

I cannot thank Rajni from Mums In The Wood enough. My son went to for his 4+ assessments and we were so impressed with the detailed report she provided us. Even if you are not looking for a private school for your child, the report is so comprehensive it leaves no stone unturned. I cannot recommend her enough. My son applied to 3 schools and received 2 offers and a place on the reserve list for our third school!

Our experience with Rajni and Elizabeth couldn't have been any better. They were very helpful and accommodating to see my little boy before his 4+ assessment even when it was very last minute. Rajni and Elizabeth have a very special way to bond with the kids and their level of detail on the report was impressive. They were very kind, soft and friendly and my son liked them immediately. He still asks to go back to see them. Highly highly recommended!

I am so glad to have been introduced to Rajni. An absolute professional with ample of advice for prep for 7+. Rajni goes beyond what you sign up for- always there to calm your nerves before the big day, a chat about interview process. I’m so glad we did our mock test as Rajni really took the time out to go through the entire assessment post the mocks and provide detailed feedback which was extremely beneficial. 100% recommend.

We found Rajni very late, in fact AFTER the first assessment for one of the schools on our list but she was kind enough to accommodate us and was super helpful and professional, my very nervous child absolutely LOVED going to her and had great improvements and was so much calmer on the following assessments. 100% recommend!

Our child recently attended a 4+ mock assessment with Rajni. We were hugely impressed by the attention she gives to each child who attends. This is so clearly evident in the detail Rajni provides in her report following the mock assessment - the report was bespoke to our child. Rajni’s comprehensive report was invaluable in identifying the very specific areas for us to work on with our child. Rajni’s knowledge and guidance has been incredibly helpful to us as first time parents approaching these assessment centres, and we would highly recommend her. We hope to work with Rajni again!

We recently consulted with Rajni, who asses our son for 7+ entry. She is in a class of her own, highly professional, most responsive, and very detailed in her feedback. Rajni helped us with a mock assessment ahead of our daughter sitting a 4+ assessment. Our daughter really enjoyed the session at Rajni’s home, and came out very happily talking about all the games and puzzles she had played with. We were really impressed with the detailed report that followed. It was really comprehensive and great care had been taken to consider areas of strength and what areas could be improved and how. Rajni also gave us some very helpful guidance on schools that might be suited to our daughter. We were really delighted with Rajni’s support and would highly recommend her.

Rajni has been essential in preparing our daughter for the 4+. Her initial assessment was detailed and knowledgable with clear direction as to what we could do at home. She was clear about expectations and also supportive of our daughter as she developed over the coming months in 1:1 sessions. Our daughter has developed a great bond with Rajni and despite being shy around unfamiliar people took instantly to Rajni. Our daughter is delighted to go see Rajni and talks about what she does with Rajni with pride. We find the guidance given clear and practical for what can be done in between sessions to enhance learning. It has been a struggle with our daughter heavily affected by circumstances around Covid so it has been such a comfort and pleasure as a parent to see her blossom and make massive progress over the last few months. Very highly recommended!

Rajni assessed my son in advance of the 4+ this time last year. She provided us with an extremely detailed and very accurate report on him, full of tips of things we could practice and encourage in advance of his assessments. She worked out a lot about him in a short time and her report was clearly about him as an individual (not just a generic report about any 4 year old boy) and identified strengths while also helpfully spotting areas to work on. He really enjoyed the session at her house, even though covid restrictions meant that he hadn't had much time with people outside his family and nursery covid bubble in the previous six months, and came out very happy.

Although we ultimately didn't have as many assessments as we had expected due to the covid restrictions, he subsequently went on to do very well in those assessments he did do. We kept following Rajni's advice over the rest of his time at nursery and he now seems to be doing well in Reception with a solid foundation.

We are expecting soon and wanted some expert assistance in navigating the nursery/pre-prep system so we are not stressed after birth.

Rajni was amazing, reassuring and incredibly knowledgeable about the North London schools and was able to give excellent, personal insight into the schools we had in mind. Can't wait to work with Rajni again.

I'm so glad I was referred to Rajni. We had a mock 4+ assessment with her for my son. She is very kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She kindly provided a very detailed report for us even though she was really ill with covid.
It was through her assessment that we came to realise that our son needs a speech therapist and that there was a underlying cause that required surgery.
We look forward to her providing individual lessons to our son to help him reach the correct developmental level for his age and hopefully be ready in time for his assessments.

Rajni has been a great help for us whilst navigating the 4+ assessment process for our son. The mock assessment she provided was a very useful experience for both our son and us. The feedback report was so thorough and individualised to our son and it has been immensely useful in suggesting activities and helping to develop him at home. We contacted Rajni after we had already begun to register our twins at various schools in North London. The one hour we spent speaking with her was invaluable and really shed light on areas that we had not thought about and which are never advertised or discussed in public fora. She alerted us to some schools that we should also be considering and, although it was late in the day, we were able to quickly secure a place for our twins. We will continue to consult Rajni as the kids progress through their pre-prep schools. Frankly, whatever your research skills and experience of the schools system, the entire process is so competitive and ever-changing, having someone like Rajni by your side is really beneficial. She provides insights based on what she is learning from other parents ahead of you on the journey and her own experience as a parent to two kids going through the system.

Rajni provided us with a thorough overview of the schools process during our session and was prepared to answer all our questions. She thoroughly reviewed the information we provided in advance. By requesting we provide our background prior to the meeting, we were able to use the session more efficiently. The preparatory email also helped us to think about all of the topics we wanted covered. Her manner was honest and open and we felt much more confident in our understanding of the process post our discussion.
