I attended 'Exploring Generative Music: A talk and Q&A with Peter Chilvers'. – I was quite interested, and I had created some generative music in the past myself, but I have to say I did hardly understand what people were talking about, and nobody really seemed to care to help me. no real introduction was given, of course we all were supposed to know Peter and his entourage. names were dropped, must have been great names, but nobody cared to write them down so a less enlightened person would have been able to afterwards search for these names.

I do not think I will try a similar event in the nearer future.

Seguí un curso de "Creating Virtual and Sample-Based VST/AU Plug-in Instruments with HISE", y es muy muy malo. Me arrepentí de pagar.

No deben ofrecer cursos de nivel tan bajo y con mala calidad de audio o video.

No logré mis metas.

Good courses, especially the ones on advanced topics and machine learning.

This kind of learning is very useful, and not too expensive.

Experience was great. We’ll worth it

I like that there is a wide variety of courses available - there is a lot of learning potential here!

I think that the organization of the courses could use some work. It’s hard to build a successive curriculum for myself based on how things are organized. And some of the courses seem a bit overpriced for the content. For example - there is a course on P5js with making an interactive audiovisual project. I can’t justify paying 45$ a month to access a course which doesn’t have video instruction and consists of only text files (or a one time fee of of 25$), or a way to contact the instructor if I need help or am stuck.

Additionally, the musichackspace site doesn’t have a place to contact support should we need help navigating the website/etc.

I think that some serious reorganization of the website, along with just a tad more interactivity in the learning itself would make this a much more worthwhile purchase. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out and might even re-subscribe once I can afford it, but right now I just can’t justify it.

Great courses, good value, plenty of choice

Worth to give people access to new creative tools to develop their own imagination.

Competent, involved, supportive - wonderful!

Straight to the point tutorials but most of the concepts are very basic. Good to use like an encyclopedia but not not any ideas that are new to me. But checking out one of the tutorials is more fun than watching TV.

Great music from start to finish. Innovative sounds and approaches to creating new music. Wonderful stuff. Topped off by being at the best venue in London - Iklectik. Fabulous sound system, great atmosphere, friendly folk, lovely garden with bar. All round a top night out.

Great costumer support and beautifully curated classes! Also generous offering past recordings of classes, meetups, etc.

I couldn't access any of the courses and I tried the help chat but I got no help whatsoever. I stopped my subscription after that.
