I’ve worked with Tom during training and as a graduate. He was a great help in finding a thinner sound and offering exercises to smooth out mix and other registers. Efficient and also relaxed sessions.

Matt Sofianos is an excellent teacher! His knowledge, patience and enthusiasm are infectious. I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and have learnt so much with him in the last year, far more than in the preceding 10! My son aged 12 has started with him and he is progressing excellently with Matt's tuition - we are both doing the Rockschool grades with him! He comes highly recommended!

Andrea Basiola is an amazing teacher who brought both my sons fro zero to grade 8, one electric and one acoustic guitar. Patient, methodical and an amazing guitarist. Highly recommended!

I encountered Mr Amenyah about 6 years ago and his patience and approach to teaching and leading songs is unique and superb. I call him Choir Master 1 and he calls me Soprano 1. He is a go to at anytime and will always journey you through songs that are soul satisfying.

I have been having lessons with Tom for the past few years now, and he has been consistently brilliant. He was my biggest help in recovering from my tonsillectomy and strengthening my new voice. He helped me through third year of drama school and my third year shows, he's helped me prep for my different cruise contracts and tackle incredibly difficult songs, and he's helped me with my audition rep which has landed me two contracts already. And to top it off he's a great guy who's easy to talk to and whose main priority is helping his students, even going above and beyond by helping me outside of lesson time when I was recovering from my tonsillectomy. I'm still using the exercises and tips he's given me every time I warm up and practise. Can't recommend him enough!

As an adult learner who has already abandoned several other instruments, Rowena has really helped foster a love of learning cello, and an enthusiasm to keep going. She is creative in helping me find the music I want to play, and always has something encouraging to say. The recent opportunities she has created for playing with others are another bonus and add to my motivation. I look forward to my lessons and would happily recommend her to any new learner.

Mr Kwabla Amenya is an awesome musical coach. I like how practical his teachings are.

He is also patient and would repeat again and again until you get it.

My 15 year son has been having lessons with James for around 3 years and has achieved his grade 1 and 2 in classical guitar and is now working towards grade 2 in acoustic guitar. The lessons take place in James's purpose built music studio and he is very kind and patient and my son finds the lessons very enjoyable.

James was recommended to me by son’s piano teacher. My son (age 13) has been having lessons in classical guitar with James for around 6 months and is very much enjoying his lessons. He looks forward to his lessons with James and is making good progress.

As a parent, I’ve always found James to have a very easy manner and he’s responsive to any questions I have. Payment is straightforward and transparent and the email reminders for upcoming lessons are useful.

I recommend James as a guitar teacher.

Andy is an excellent and imaginative guitar teacher who has taught our son for three years now. During this time he has really brought the instrument to life for our son and this has coincided with a much wider interest in music generally for him. Very highly recommended.

Andrea was my guitar teacher for 8 years. He helped me prepare up to grade 5 in ABRSM. He was amazing in practicing pieces, and preparing me for the exams and concerts. His lessons were fun and I always was looking forward to the lessons. I am hoping in some time I would like to restart some lessons with him based on rock.

Andrea is an excellent guitar teacher. He’s taught my son from the ages 7-15. He has the ability to relate to the student at different ages. He is also very patient. My son accomplished his ABRSM grades successfully. During COVID times we switched to on line lessons and he was as dedicated and able to communicate as effectively as in person lessons. He is very accomplished as a guitar player himself and a wonderful person.

Andy is a brilliant teacher for our teenage daughter. He is seriously talented, able to teach her seemingly any piece she chooses, with no notice! She loves her lessons & her technique has improved no end.

Sam, 14 y.o. I have been taking lessons from Andy for almost two years and in this time I have made such progress I did not expect. I improved drastically my legato and sweep picking, timing and picking hand tightness. Progress aside he is just scarily good. He has both great technique and feel, which is something you don’t find too often. He is a great teacher, very patient and helpful and well as being a really nice person overall.

Have been working with Tom for around a year now. He really knows his stuff. Material that felt completely impossible when I started he’s made well within comfort. As someone who had lots of experience singing in ensembles but not much technical knowledge, he’s taught me an invaluable amount, both practically but also anatomically. I started with a chest voice and a falsetto, feeling like as a baritone most of contemporary MT was off limits; I wasn’t even sure a mix was a thing until I turned up to Tom. Brilliant at diagnosing room for improvement, he’s given me personally tailored exercises and I’ve felt I’ve had everything I need to keep working on things.

Tom is a professional actor and very very talented singer himself, which means he’s often busy. So whilst timetabling is occasionally difficult, that’s exactly what makes him such a privilege to have. He knows his craft and consistently working himself means he always fresh ideas for others. He really is TOP class.

I honestly can’t recommend Tom enough. I’ve been working with him for about 10 years now, and the impact he’s had on my life and career has been huge. He didn’t just help me develop my voice as a singer — he helped guide me in the overall direction of my professional career.

Tom is a fantastic singing teacher who I'd highly recommend. I've been having lessons with him for about a year now, and the improvement I've felt has been brilliant — not just technically, but in my confidence as a singer, which for me has been just as important. He's encouraging, and genuinely fun to learn from — lessons never feel like a chore. As someone with a pretty hectic schedule that involves a lot of travel, I've really appreciated how flexible and accommodating he is with bookings, always finding a way to make things work around my availability. If you're looking for a teacher who makes you feel at ease while actually helping you progress, I'd highly recommend giving Tom a try.

Tom is the best singing teacher I have met! I’ve been using his exercises for 4 years now which has helped me recover completely from vocal surgery. I have had quite a few singing teachers at my time through 2 different drama schools and no one compares to Tom. He is incredibly knowledgeable about singing technique and vocal recovery but not only that he really cares and makes you think that anything is possible when it comes to your voice. He is such a great support and I would not be where I am today without his help !
