Terrible international buying experience

I would not recommend this store to anyone, especially for international orders. They sent me headphones with a defect: a severe channel imbalance to one side.
I received the headphones on April 17th.
On April 20th, I contacted MusicTek about the problem.
I reported the issue and attached measurement results Good thing I had the proper equipment

Instead of replacing the defective unit with a working pair, they told me to deal with the manufacturer directly under warranty by mail. This is despite the fact that their website says replacement is possible within 30 days, with the condition “if the product does not match the stated specifications.” Apparently, a defect still counts as “matching the specifications.”

The manufacturer then contacted me and said, “Send us the headphones and we’ll send you a new pair.” But after I sent them, I was told they would be repaired and that I would have to wait, which is already strange since I was told something completely different at first. I don't understand why I should even wait and get my headphones repaired if I bought them new and they broke after a couple of days, lol

In total, it has now been a month since I delivered the headphones to the manufacturer in Japan (they received them in April).
Today I got a response saying the repair will take “a very long time because the factory is busy.”

Fine, I waited almost a month, but I still don’t have my headphones, and it looks like I won’t get them back anytime soon

Customer care and support are top notch

I purchased a very expensive pair of like-new headphones and cancelled via email, later regretting my impulsive purchase. Support emailed me back quickly and offered me a deal I couldn't resist to continue with my purchase. I won't state exactly what that deal was (and no, it wasn't to leave a review here) but support was awesome and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Sorry for the TL/DR story. But if you're about to drop large sums of money on a product you might want to read this.

I purchased a set of IEMs from them and experienced a weird anomaly in which my right IEM experienced volume attenuation to the point where I thought the unit had died completely or something was wrong with my cable. I put a second cable in and it work fine. Oh, I forgot to mention the 2 pin terminal on the right IEM was tight to the point were when I'd plug in the cable, it hurt my thumb and left a dent in it that took approx. 45 seconds to rebound. I mention that detail to illustrate, if my thumb is receiving that kind of pressure, so is the port on the IEM. After this happened repeatedly I reached out to MusicTeck thinking I'd do an exchange for a new pair in perfect working conditions. Their response was, IF we could recreate it we'll send you another pair. The cable that I originally used worked flawlessly for a couple days of frequent use. So that made me little nervous. I told them a story about my best friend who had that exact phrase told to him when he bought a car and the transmission was slipping. Long story short, they couldn't recreate it and his transmission blew two days after his warranty was up. They responded to me saying we're not a used car dealership will take care of you. That set my mind at ease and I went on with my exchange process. Fast forward to when they get it they tell me they can't recreate the situation. They said they'd refund my money, and I said what about the exchange I just wanted another pair of them I like the IEMs a lot I just want a working pair. They said that I would keep having that problem because the terminals are tight on all the units we've tried so we'll just refund you the money. And I replied it'll happen to me but it won't happen to someone else? And the whole thing just seemed weird so I went on their website and noticed that they're sold out. They were supposed to put one aside for me but they didn't they lied and said they did but clearly they didn't. I said to them I've never had a company be willing to refund the money but not doing exchange. I've had the opposite happen but never this. They gave me their number and told me to call them. I did and we went in circles basically saying the same stuff that we said through the emails. Where at some point the guy got mad and said we're refunding your money and hung up in my face. I have the opportunity to buy these from another place but they're sold out at that place now too. I chose this place based on the reputation and the fact that they're fairly local to me. I also sent five other people their way to get the same IEMs. If I wanted to let someone borrow money I would have let one of my friends borrow it. I wanted to purchase something that's why I gave them my money. But greed got the best of them and instead of putting on a side for one of their customers that they knew wanted an exchange they chose to sell the last one. Apparently Gordon Gecko isn't the only one that thinks greed is good. This company is terrible. It's one thing to be lied to by a company but to be disrespected on the level of them hanging up in my face. Wow that's customer appreciation. So be reluctant when you're about to drop $6,000 on a set of iems or $8,000 on a limited edition cable they're currently selling. Because if something goes wrong with it and they have the opportunity to sell the last one to someone else knowing that you have a problem with your's and you want to exchange it, they're willing to lie in order to not fulfill your order. They're all about the cash grab.

Absolut Warnung vor diesem Shop

Absolut Warnung vor diesem Shop . Verkaufen Ware , die sie garnicht liefern können und einen die bezahlte waren nicht zurÌck erstatten. Behalten das Geld und ware kommt nicht . Mein Liefertermin wurde jetzt schon 4 mal verschoben und warte jetzt schon Monate. Angeblich soll der neue Termin am 27.09.24 stattfinden ???
Auf RÃŒckzahlung oder Stornierung wird nicht eingegangen seitens des Shops. Liefertermin wird immer wieder verschoben !!! Oder Mails werden einfach ignoriert und nicht beantwortet. Einfach Betrug !!!
FÌr mich persönlich nie wieder .
Weitere infos folgen zeitnahe, falls mal irgendwann ware kommt ... der wert war immerhin gut 300 euro

Changing Good Music into Great Music

I recently purchased an EROS II cable from MusicTeck for my new Shure 846 earbuds, as I am not convinced that bluetooth connections that close to your brain are safe.
After replacing the standard Shure cable with the EROS II cable, the sound reproduction was significantly enhanced.
I was actually stunned and amazed at the difference. So much so that I even spoke with Shure and recommended that they include this cable as standard with their top-of-the-line earbuds. Their response was that, 'typically, a cable does not make a noticable difference'. I told them that for me the EROS II cable made a huge difference. The instruments were noticeably crisper and the base (which this set of Shure's are noted for) was tighter, cleaner, and more pronounced. The music turley seemed to 'come alive'.

Here is my take: The EROS II is elegantly designed, with aesthetic beauty, surprising lightness and comfort, a soft feel, as well as being durable. But all these features pale in comparison to the sound reproduction they offer.

I am immensely well pleased and would highly recommend upgrading to an EROS cable for whatever headphone listening device you are currently using.
I realize they are a bit pricey, at least for my budget but, in my humble opinion, they are worth every bit of their cost. They truly brought my 846's to life, a life beyond that which they already had coming out of the box.
As a side note, I have also found MusicTeck to be very customer service oriented.
I realize how this review may sound, but I was not asked by either Shure, MusicTeck, nor EROS to write this review. I have personally found this cable to be truly worthy.
