Delivery driver tried to kick my dog when I was getting the money to pay for my order. My dog is a micro French bulldog, and is approximately the size of his shoe (size 7/8). When I asked him what he thought he was doing, he looked at me and put his foot down. I asked him if my dog had growled/barked at or touched him and he said no. So I asked why he thought that it was ok to try and kick my dog. Then as he was walking away he told me to “go fu*k myself”. All of this was witnessed by 4 of my neighbours, and he only retracted what he said because I confronted him and my male neighbour told him to watch his mouth. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a human being. Driver also lied and told his manager that my dog attacked him. Avoid this location at All costs.

Horrible staff, rude to us all, don’t recommend, rip off for food , don’t go there there horrible men that work there do be ready to be spoken to like shit

Northfield store. Bought kebab in pitta with salad. Halfway through it became apparent there was zero salad. Two ingredients and one missing. Brilliant 👏

ordered from west bromwich,food was showing waiting pick up for @30 mins.
Arrived just warm .The food & service has got worse over last few yrs.
WILL NOT be ordering again from them

Wow. Just wow. The customer service here is horrendous. Doesn’t matter what branch you order from, please do not call the Birmingham customer service number and expect them to help.

Ours is generally the Quinton branch and we’ve had really poor service recently I.e missing items and incorrect items. When you call customer service, you’re met with aggression, defensiveness and many times Saddiq Mohammed disconnecting us from the call. We have many recordings of this.

Very sad in the currently climate when consumers are really conservative about spending on takeaways and selective on who they order from. Clearly, Big Johns doesn’t need the revenue.

I hope this reviews helps others. The industry is struggling so choose wisely as to who you support.

From my experience I rate it 0 zero. Here’s why:

Well I ordered donar in naan chicken and chips with salad everything tasted off. Big johns tried to hide the bad smells by overdoing it with the sauces on the donar and the salts on the chicken.

They think customers are dumb and not gonna notice the bad taste and smells … selling unfit food for human consumption. I had this food in the evening next day woke up with severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea and vomiting the whole family. Went doctors and told them the whole story and got told by the doctors it was food poisoning.

Now for the rest of my life im not eating out any rubbish takeaways or restaurants. The chronic stomach ache I suffered almost killed me. Rather cook at home eat clean healthy and cook meat and chips when ever I crave at home.

Every one stay away from takeaways & restaurants…your health is your wealth they are making money from us customers and putting our health in Danger they not gonna care as long as they make money from us.

Been using big johns for years,but the last six months getting less and less in meals chips good portion but kebab meat just enough to feed a child.
So we changed order to a pita bread with kebab meat as have too fill it,but again Saturdays order terrible inside hardly no kebab meat and put in bottom of pita bread chicken meat which didn’t ask for, salad not good either my rabbits have better.
Seems like when different staff on just put in what want or as we’ve had nothing so basically paying for portion of chips and pita bread and slice of tomato, has anyone else noticed as we are going too stop using them as we all had funny belly’s after.
Why have they gone so poor in quality and quantity???
Anyone else having this problem and always getting orders wrong we use Chelmsley wood one cooks lane.

Staff are rude and the food is awful. The staff don’t wash their hands after smoking outside. Hygeine is abysmal

Best service provide by all staff inclusive Maneger working together with his staff quality food I highly recommend to everyone ho appreciate quality and high level service in hagley road Birmingham new opening

I always receive a 5 star service at Big Johns. Maqanza often serves me and she is always smiling and very welcoming. All Big johns staff are great and I probably go there abit to much for my dinner but it is excellent value and always fresh. Big Jonhs is my go to takeaway. Highly recommended.

I was served and paid for my order, spicy wings needed making, was tild there was a ten minute wait, the made my pizza which was now Luke warm, but still waiting on the wings, they seemed to not know how to deal with orders. When asked a staff member he simply said "it takes time you know"! And walked off. Chelmsley Wood Store. Won't be coming back here 45mins for a takeaway is ridiculous

Order food to be delivered @2:30am it turned up around 23:50 so refused delivery due to still working food arrived the 2nd time on time great only to find it tasted like it had been put somewhere to keep warm not even fresh even the labels was discoloured due to the heat
Fill complaint form over aweek ago not heard nothing back

Horrible food the chicken looked like it was three days old I went back and complained they tried to say it was fresh never ordering from here again

Rip off went for the Ramadan BOGOF offer only to be told that I had to spend £25. May Allah deal with you for stealing from your customers.

We love these hot sausages , but some reason they are come very soft, they use to be nice and firm, so what have changed?

I used for several years and pizza been always very good . Hovewer yesterday order from Acocks green was terrible. Normally is always fully loaded but this one was over cocked and basically difficult to find any ingredients .

Drove all the way to the Winslow branch in manchester to find out there they ran out of there kebab menu, absolutely ridiculous, the person serving at the till was even smiling about it never would experience this in London.

Where do I start? I ordered a 20” deep pan pizza. Arrived 1hr after order. Arrived stone cold and thin crust. I rang customer services to complain was confronted by a rude customer services representative who stated that there is no such thing as a 20” deep crust pizza giving me some made up story of the reason they do not create a 20” deep crust pizza stating how difficult it would be for them to create a deep crust that size as they couldn’t stretch the dough that much ( did not make sense) though I told him on their website it DOES give an option for a 20”deep crust pizza. Instead of humbling himself he proceeded to tell me it was a glitch in the website and that it should not have given me the option of a deep crust. I told him “ well that’s not my fault as the customer “ he became defensive saying that someone will call me back to discuss the complaint further. Someone did call me back however after a few seconds he disappeared then the call dropped. I tried calling him back and the phone rang out then the call dropped again. This happened twice so my daughter had an idea to call of a different number and the call was immediately answered. I challenged the customer service guy about how come my call wasn’t being answered when I called on my own number but answered when I called on a different number at which he became defensive stating that he was not discriminating between calls (liar). He then again said someone would call me back again. Somebody did call me back however the person named Umair who I spoke to offered to send me another 20” pizza. I told him that I did not want another 20” pizza as the one we received I was not happy with but low and behold he said he could send me a deep pan 20” pizza. I told him I was told you cannot do deep crust for that size at which he said that was not true and that they do a deep crust version of 20” so the customer service guy I first spoke to was lying. I refused to have another pizza delivered and requested that they refund me half of the money as a way of compensation. Umair stated that he would call me back. The call never came. Big Johns staff have demonstrated that they have no integrity and are charlatans. The reputational damage caused by their staff members is harming the business. They have no interest in creating a positive experience for their customers in fact they go out of their way to create a negative experience. Their egos will not allow them to admit when they are wrong. I have spent hundreds of pounds at big Johns over the years but I certainly will not be wasting another penny at this establishment. This establishment is all fur coat and no knickers.

THE STEAK HAS BEEN OVER SEASONED AND TASTE LIKE PURE SALT AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT LOCATIONS
