I booked my service online but then had to change the date, and they accommodated the change well.
The car was ready within the time frame specified.

My car had two old tyres, and I purchased two new tires, expecting both to be fitted at the front. I left my car at Mycar Launceston and come back after. However, when I check that wasn't the case. I raised the issue, they informed me that they would swap them after three months, which didn't seem convincing to me.

I didn't receive a written report.
I had to ask for the car to be scanned to know why a light comes on the dashboard (this was meant to be part of the service I paid for). I didnt get a straight answer so I don't think they did it.
I was only provided with a generic service reciept. No written report of what they recommended to do.
Windscreen fluid filled with only water.
Won't use this company again. I will have to re service somewhere else.
The man at the desk was kind but overall the service seems like a waste.

Great customer service from the city location. Thoroughly explained issues, repairs and processes. Not disappointed in using MyCar for the first time, will continue to use for all future needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not sure what a $49 cleaning fee is. Did not reset the service indicator so will have to return to fix

**Poor Service & Unprofessional Conduct – Do Not Recommend**

**30/05/2024:** I took my car for servicing at My Car tyre and auto Launceston @ York street . After the service, my engine light was on, and upon checking, I found that a valve had been left disconnected—an unacceptable oversight.

**18/05/2024:** I returned due to a leaking radiator. They charged me $480 for parts (the same parts are available elsewhere for $230), plus $330 for labour and coolant. The next day, I noticed no coolant in the tank. When I went back to clarify, an Indian staff member simply filled the coolant tank with water instead of proper coolant—a clear sign of negligence.

**13/03/2025:** Despite previous issues, I gave them another chance. After servicing, they claimed there were no issues, yet the next day, my steering wheel was shaking. When I questioned them, the same Indian staff member dismissed it, saying my wheels were fine. However, TAS Brake later confirmed my disk pads needed replacement something that should have been flagged during servicing.

**27/03/2025:** I had a booking for my second car at 10 AM, but the Indian staff member claimed it was for 8AM and canceled my appointment without prior notice, forcing me to rebook for the following week.

Additionally, I pointed out that my front left tyre had low air pressure. Without properly checking, the same Indian staff member incorrectly claimed it was a puncture. Later, he admitted it was just low air—yet he overfilled it to 270 PSI (when it should be 240 PSI). Even after I specifically asked him to check the other tyres , he ignored my request, leaving them unchecked.

This service centre is not what it used to be. The repeated negligence, overcharging, and unprofessional behaviour—especially from the Indian staff member—have left me deeply disappointed. I do not recommend My Car tyre and auto Launcestonto anyone seeking reliable and honest car servicing.

Great service these guys are amazing

Work is always done in the timeframe agreed and they contact me if anything else is required.

I came a day earlier than my booking by mistake. Tim fitted my car into his busy schedule so I wouldn’t have to come back the next day.

Reliable, trustworthy and great customer service. I’ll definitely be back and recommending to family and friends

Having had a good experience with MyCar in Darwin, I didn’t hesitate to use them to service my Landcruiser during our holiday in Tasmania. The booking process was easy, i was able to drop the car off and have it finished within a couple of hours and the guys went above and beyond the service doing a couple of extra items for me.

Thanks mycar Launceston. Pretty good and quick service. Got my car in just an hour. Sanjeet did a great job
