Then Team Leader was rude and aggressive and then when we sent in copmlaint. they immediately closed acconut without reimbursng money. The company are crooks
I was informed that they won’t scan mail addressed to my trading name because a separate company with that name is registered on Companies House. As a result, I’m currently unable to access a portion of my business mail at all.
I was surprised by this, as it’s generally possible to use a trading name provided it doesn’t infringe on another business. This restriction wasn’t made clear upfront, and it significantly limits the usefulness of the service.
I paid £59.98 on 8 April 2026 (Invoice 275728) for a Registered Office and Director Service Address package. The KYC/onboarding process was convoluted and poorly communicated, and I never successfully completed it - meaning, per MYCO's own clause 10.9, no service ever began. No address was activated, no mail handled, no filings made.
I requested a refund within the 14-day window under clause 13.3. MYCO confirmed the account was "cancelled with immediate effect" (their wording, in writing). Despite no service being delivered and no administrative work having been carried out on their side, they still deducted the £10 admin fee from the refund, describing it as "non-negotiable."
A £10 deduction where no service was delivered, no KYC was completed, and no admin was performed is difficult to justify as a genuine cost recovery — Stripe does not charge a fee to process refunds, and their own clause 13.2.1 separately passes processor fees to the customer in any event.
I'm currently awaiting a response to a formal demand for the outstanding £10. I'll update this review if the matter is resolved. Two stars rather than one because the refund did partially process, but the handling of the admin-fee deduction in circumstances where no service was performed is the issue.
Terrible. Haven't forwarded anything and constantly ask for more money. I asked if I could come and pick something up in person - as they were insisting i paid £200+ to send it to me and they said no. Utter shambles.
I purchased four separate address services for four separate companies. MYCO then accused me of misusing a new client discount because different email addresses were used, even though each company was a separate legal entity. They demanded extra payments, said the accounts were on hold unless more money was paid, and there was confusion over KYC and which inboxes were monitored. I cancelled within 14 days, but they still deducted admin fees from the refunds. My experience was that the process was unnecessarily antagonistic, poorly administered, and not handled in a commercially reasonable way.
What a disgrace this company is! After two years with them, all they care about is the money they make. They’re completely incapable of helping their customers with administrative procedures. Shame on you, Mycoworks! I hope you have to deal with people just like yourselves when it comes to your own affairs.
Scummy business practices. Avoid at all costs.
For 2 years I've been using the service. I renewed for another year 2 weeks ago. On the day my new contract started, once it was too late to cancel, they emailed me and said I need to upgrade to their most expensive plan to keep the address on my website.
They refused cancellation or refund even though I was only HOURS into my new contract. The timing of this looks deliberate to strong-arm you into paying more.
Use Icon Offices, way cheaper, better customer service.
I wish I had seen this before I signed up. I signed up for a registered office and mail scanning only to find out less than 24hours later that they wouldn’t accept post from anyone other than companies house so to get any other mail scanned I would have to upgrade to £360 package - total con. Have asked for a refund as per my statutory rights and so far they are refusing. Staff are also incredibly rude. Avoid this scam company at all costs.
I purchased their Registered Office address service for 2 limited companies. They then tried to upsell me to purchase a Virtual Office package saying I couldn't use my new registered company address on our website, invoices and headed paper without it.
But, if you have a limited company, you are legally required to display your registered office address on your website, invoices and headed paper. So, to comply with the limitations of their service I would have to not comply with company regulations.
I have requested a refund.
I was asked to complete KYC through a secure portal (Valid8Me) but then received an email telling me to email my sensitive ID documents directly instead. This is not only highly unprofessional but also a serious data security and GDPR concern.
Email is not a secure channel for transmitting personal information, yet the company threatened account suspension and disposal of my mail if I didn’t comply. This kind of pressure and lack of secure handling of personal data is unacceptable, especially for a business that deals with compliance and customer trust.
At the very least, I expected a proper secure platform for KYC verification, not instructions that put my personal documents at risk. This experience has left me with no confidence in their processes or their ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

Staff are rude. We paid for the lowest package and they refused to send us any paperwork or anything, upgrading to something stupid like £400 package to get what we wanted (just the paperwork sent to us!!!!!) still nothing. They are refusing to give us a refund
Stay away from MYCO Works - they are going to find every possible opportunity to squeeze every penny from you. They have the worst support you can imagine, riddle with rude team members who look at you as a transaction, not a customer.

I paid for a registered office service with these clowns to restore my UK company, through Companies House. The payment went through. My money was taken. And guess what? No service. No account access. No login. No documents. Just radio silence and a “sorry, we don’t know you” when I tried to reset my password.
After days of chasing them via WhatsApp and email, I was finally told they had flagged my IP address (because I’m traveling) and decided unilaterally that I must be “high risk.” Based on what? My location and the fact I tried more than one payment method — something any normal person would do when your damn website doesn’t work properly.
And here’s the kicker: they refused to issue a refund. Let me repeat — THEY TOOK MY MONEY, provided no service, and then refused to give it back.
This isn’t a company. It’s a scam hiding behind vague AML excuses and lazy support.
I’ve initiated a chargeback. I’ve filed a complaint. And I will make sure every other business owner, especially international directors, knows that this company is not safe to trust, not transparent, and definitely not professional.
Avoid this shady setup at all costs. Spend your money where people treat you like a client, not a criminal.
This company is now Dormant but they are still taking money off gullible people for services they never intend to render.

I strongly advise against using MYCO Works due to their misleading pricing, dishonest business practices, and appalling customer service.
I initially signed up for their Registered Address service, expecting a simple and professional experience. However, when I later requested an upgrade to their Business Plus package, they outright refused to honour their advertised pricing. Instead, they demanded an excessive additional payment, well beyond what was originally stated on their website. At no point was it made clear that upgrades would require effectively repurchasing the service at full price.
When I questioned this, I was met with dismissive, robotic responses, claiming their decision was "non-negotiable." Rather than offering any form of customer service or reasonable resolution, they stonewalled my requests and refused to engage in a fair discussion. Their attitude was arrogant, unhelpful, and completely lacking in transparency.
To make matters worse, they refused to provide a pro-rata refund for unused months, despite no longer requiring the service. Their excuse? A blanket 14-day refund policy, which they conveniently use as a shield to avoid treating customers fairly.
Their claim that they “work closely with Trading Standards” came across as a thinly veiled intimidation tactic, rather than genuine assurance of compliance. I have since reported them to Trading Standards and disputed the payment via chargeback.
If you’re considering using MYCO Works, don’t make the same mistake I did. There are far better, more transparent and ethical alternatives out there. Save yourself the stress and take your business elsewhere.
Avoid at all costs.
I do not recommend this company. I pay for the registered address service as well as a telephone service. They are very unreasonable to deal with. They wanted £223 over and above the standard annual fee to display the registered company on my website, even though this information is readily available on Companies House website. I also had an instance where a supplier accidentally sent a letter to the registered address instead of my operational address. Myco refused to forward it on (even though I was offering to pay for it as a one-off) unless I subscribed to the £223 extra charge.
Dreadful service.
All that tricks to get you signed up, take money and then ask to sign up more service otherwise they will suspend your account and no refund .
It’s more like a fraud .
Stay away.
