International moving is so complex that I had trouble believing that this business really gave people the top notch experience. There are so many factors and so many things that can go wrong. It also takes a large team to ensure a move outside of the U.S. goes well. I took time to research before picking up the phone to call. I was politely greeted when I finally did give them a call. The rate was realistic to what I was expecting. I liked them best because of the options. Lcl they call it was sharing a freight carrier with another load. It seemed weird at first hearing about it because I felt like a mix up could occur but they mentioned that was something that many people use and problems barely ever occur. It was the most affordable option so I that's the one I went with. It was stressful but it got done. And within a few weeks everything arrived in Ottawa undamaged and on time. I was leaning more towards giving them 4 stars but because they notified me ahead when a plan changed I'll give them 5.

My friend had told me about this company. She used their services before in the past and had a good experience. I was shipping a variety of things such as furniture and artwork for a home in London. I was helping organize it with a client and it was very important that we work with a qualified company. My International made sure everything arrived under 30 days as promised without a break or chip to any item.

I was pretty uncomfortable preparing for this move. Scrolling around online you can't help but notice that a lot of international moving companies get a bad rap. With so many moving parts to big moves, it seems a ton can go wrong. That made the decision-making process on who to work with last almost 3 weeks. My first lesson of advice I could give to those planning out international moves is plan early. Super early - like 3 months in advance if you can. A month ahead of time was not enough time because a shipment to London took nearly a month. I learned a lot about international shipping both online and from using My International. Their team walked me through the process and explained every charge for the final quote. It's good to try and list out everything your shipping because that will help you speed up the process with the estimator. They had a few payment choices. I did the lower tiered one which took longer to arrive but saved me money. It was a big journey getting it all done but this company did a good job and stayed available whenever I wanted to call and check up on the shipment.

I found a site online that was an international moving calculator so you know what to expect. My International movers weren't too far from the standard rate for shipping To Canada from Florida. I tried to budget this as best as I could so I went with LCL shipping by sea. That basically was the cheapest options.

Pros :
For international, it was very affordable.
Insurance was only 3% of the moving total
Staff was very nice.

Cons:
Only tough part is it took awhile, nearly
a month until I got everything but when I did
it was all in good condition.

My final verdict is if you can wait it out this a good company that doesn't scam you for money. They had rates for people like me who don't have thousands and thousands to spend. So with that said I would recommend them for sure.

I moved out of Cali to Vancouver by Sea and My International took care of everything. Just like they promised me there wasn't an extra fee waiting for me at the end of the whole ordeal. Payment was one and done. I started off being confused where to begin with the whole move and later on was much more relaxed having them orchestrate it all.

I don't have much to compare this to because it was my first international move for work. It was payed for by the company I work at but I did pick who I wanted to move me. They did an awesome job and a better job than some of the basic moving companies I've used just move me a few miles awhile. They were organized to a T. Moving over seas is expensive stuff and lots can go wrong with how involved it is.

My International looked good online with reviews and everything but the most important things was they were good in reality too wish is the most important part. They had no problem answering any questions I asked. They responded back to emails I sent within 24 hours and everyone treated me with the utmost respect. Good business is hard to find with everyone trying to cut corners these days. Glad I found a company that actually cares.

I have dealt with a moving company before and the overall costs was WAY overpriced, which was why I was skeptical about moving again. However, I was moving to a bigger apartment and after a whole year of buying new things and clothes, it was impossible to be all moved out in such short time.
I had to travel for work so the move had to be done ASAP. I was referred by a friend of mine and she said that this company was good and affordable. First impression was Great! They answered the phone and gave me an estimate that was within range of my budget. When the movers arrived, they asked me what rooms needed to be cleared out first and were very organized throughout the move. They worked together and got it done in perfect timing and on my part, I barely had to do a thing. I dodged a huge amount of stress which was awesome with my work trip coming up the next day. Great work and awesome performance.

I love my international movers were a life saver. Me and my girl had been online dating for about two years. I finally convinced her to move out of states with the condition she brings all her stuff. The idea of moving her things all the was to the states seemed ridiculous but she wasn't budging. Searches around and stumbled on this place. Very professional, and the price was reasonable. They had to listen to her go on and on about not breaking anything and they were STILL nice. Would recommend them to everyone. If things don't work out, I'll be contacting them to move her right back!!! LOL

Have most of my family staying out in the UK so after I finished with my internship, I decided to follow as well. Of course after a few years of being at my home, I purchased a ton of new items that I couldn't move on my own, so I used My International Movers. My sister actually said they used them for their move and it was fairly priced and the people who work there are very nice!
With moving being such a long and exhausting process, I wanted to make sure that the people I worked with would be easy to compromise and talk to. I am not picky or super specific, but I own a lot of things that I paid good money for so I wanted to make sure that everything was safe and arrived safely to my new condo.
The entire move well very smoothly. Extra packing and bubble wrap was used and they made sure to pack things in an organized way. They did a fantastic job and gave me a great first experience.

I decided to move out closer to work in the UK area where my business just recently expanded. With the amount of things I own, from furniture, electronics, and even things my girl purchased, hiring movers was the only way to make this whole thing possible.
I decided to do shipping by air because it seemed the better option, although, pricing was fair both ways.
The movers were very prompt, arrived on the dot. Shocking to me also because the weather that day was not the best! They were quick and very respectful to me and my things.
It was a great overall experience and I have not a single complaint.

They did a fantastic job of ensuring to make sure that my move went smooth and I left as a happy customer.

Got a job opportunity in Liver Pool that I just didn't want to pass up. I was ready for a new life! My international made that new life happen. I chose them for moving my stuff because their options on over sea shipping were great. The more choices the better in my opinion. They also handle all the paperwork that customs needs for clearance. Which is something I didn't want to deal with.
The move took near a month but I didn't mind because the price was good and everything got there in good shape. I chose the most inexpensive method which they call it "LCL". It basically means they ship your stuff with other peoples stuff in a big container. I just wanted it from point A to B and that's what I got.
The staff was nice as well.

Decided to finally take the plunge in taking a relationship to a new level. My significant
other needed to go back home due to visa issues and we are not ready to tie the knot by
any means. Since the thought of living over seas had occurred to me. I wanted to try it out. So I went with my international to handle the process. They handled all aspects of the move pretty much. Helping me pack, the move itself and custom clearance stuff for the international shipping. My move to Middlesbrough, Uk took about 12 days. I did shipping by plane and honestly thought it would take a bit less time but it was my first move like this. So I have nothing to base it against. All in all it worked out pretty well. Shipping by plane is the most expensive option they have but if you aren't willing to wait a month for everything to arrive than I definitely recommend it. Giving this place 5 stars because I honestly did have any hassle or bad moments with this company. Thanks!

Very convenient company that does a lot. My son has been studying over seas in the U.K area for 6 months now and finally found an apartment he's comfortable with. I was able ship furniture for a good price with this company. Payment was a simple 1 time thing. People over the phone were able to answer all of my questions and find me a rate that was manageable for my budget. Everything was insured for an additional small fee which made me more comfortable. LCL shipping was my final choice. It was recommended by them since I was looking to really save money on this.
I received an ETA from them immediately when the move began. There was no moment I was left in the dark or had any unanswered questions. Everything arrived to my son close to the ETA. The movers went out of their way and helped unpack mostly everything my son said. I'm very happy that I chose this company. They really seemed to have my best interests in mind.

Like many.. I do not like moving but I'm happy that these guys do and they take pride in their work. In the past I've had issues with movers being late and extra charges attached due to slow hourly work. So it's safe to say that my guard is up before choosing any moving company. They were willing to come my office and look at everything to give me the most accurate estimate that they could. I was opening a second office in London and had already purchased everything I wanted to be shipped there.
Prior to calling this place up I dealt with 2 other companies over the phone. Both which seemed hesitant to answer some of my questions and neither seemed to jump at the business opportunity like My international did when I called them.
Getting back to my move.. their team spent about 20 mins checking out all the office stuff / furniture that I needed shipped. The quote they gave was more than fair. From there we scheduled the move to be in 3 days. The movers arrived on time (actually a little early) and they packed all my stuff into boxes. They gave me the ETA and everything arrived right in front of the my new office location. They unpacked and helped set up a few light fixtures that needed to be assembled.
I got insurance on the move just to be on the safe side, although it doesn't seem like I really needed it. The amount came out to be what they had promised from the start with no additional charges. Everything was very seamless.

They do a lot of things like that which show they care about the client and for each other. For example, one of moves I had was their second of the day and started running pretty late. Another crew was in the area and had finished their job, so they came by to help out their colleagues. It was nice to see that they cared about helping each other get home on time! Extremely professional and polite staff that truly cares if your possessions make the trip unharmed. The team was exactly on time and wasted no time getting started with the work to be done. I hope to never move again. But if I do, I'll definitely schedule it with My International Movers.
