I've been a student of Ustadh Yaseen for almost a year now and it's been one of the best decisions of my life. I went from not knowing to read the Arabic alphabet to effortlessly reading surahs with tajweed.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn to read quran. The way the class is structured makes it very easy to learn and memorize.

I really enjoy my lectures and can see the progress I have made since I started them.

Mymadrassa is an amazing institution that not only developed my skills with Quran memorisation and understanding the religion of Allah but also restored my confidence in myself and my ability as well providing me with the opportunity to strengthen my deen and make me a better Muslim overall. All classes are engaging, understanding no matter who you are, and clear communication for everyone and anyone. It’s Brought a world of difference to myself.

The lessons are held privately with the teacher, which is a great advantage as it allows for full attention to be given to the student. This one-on-one setting helped me build a personal connection with the teacher and significantly improved my Quran learning. His encouragement motivated me to step out of my comfort zone and make substantial progress.

Shaykh was a brilliant teacher, he made everything very clear and made the classes enjoyable. May Allah preserve him and the rest of the team.

Alhamdulillah, I’ve made great progress in both Qur’an and Arabic thanks to Ustadh Yassin. The private lessons are truly amazing, clear, effective, and very motivating.

My kids did not know how to read any of the Quran but mashallah by the will of Allah and with the support of Shaykh Yasin Abo Iyad they can now recite it much better than before his teaching methods are outstanding may Allah reward him and the Madrassa.

I was doing my Hifz at MyMadrassa and had a really good experience overall. The environment was supportive and helped me stay focused. The system they had for memorizing and revising made it easier to stay consistent, even when things got challenging.

I studied with Sheikh Yasin, he is a great teacher. He was firm when needed but also very patient and encouraging. He genuinely cared about my progress and always made sure I was reciting properly.

Alhamdulillah, I learned a lot during my time at MyMadrassa. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start or continue their Hifz. They also offer Arabic lessons, so i would definitely recommend it

I have benefited immensely from the head of the institute; Shaykh Yasin Abo Iyad, Allah preserve him.

My life changed with him, I first started studying with him around 2 years ago, I completed a Khatamah of the full Quran with Ijazah on him Alhamdulilaah, and thereafter, he also gave me the opportunity to teach Quran which helped me develop and become stronger in the Quran Alhamdulilaah, and I still benefit from him now by studying Arabic Bayna Yadayk under him as well a the Matan Shatibiyah for Qiraat Alhamdulilaah.

I enrolled my 5 year old in mid Jan.
He was familiar with the arabic alphabet and some of the vowels.

In less than 6 months, he has now almost completed the basics of reading arabic. All at my sons pace. Ustadh Yacin has been brilliant. An inspiration to my son in many ways. Communication is a breeze - and I have alot of questions all of the time, perhaps too many 🫣

Before joining MyMadrassa, I found it difficult to make consistent progress in Hifz. Since enrolling, I’ve seen significant progress in both my memorisation and Tajweed, and it’s the most progress I’ve made in my Hifz journey. My Ustadh Abdurahman has really helped by pointing out my mistakes, teaching me tajweed rules and made sure I stay on track with my hifz each week. I would definitely recommend this madrasa to anyone serious about improving their Hifz.

My children made a lot a of progress in a short time. My daughter is now able to read from the Qu’ran. I’m truly impressed and grateful !

As a young adult stepping into My Madrassa, I was filled with nervousness and self-doubt. I had tried learning the religion at other institutions before, only to be met with ridicule and discouragement whenever I made mistakes. Those experiences left me hesitant and unsure. But walking into My Madrassa was the turning point I didn’t know I needed.

From the very first lesson, the teachers created a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. Their patience, understanding, and sincere love for the Deen made me feel comfortable enough to try again — to learn, to grow, and to fall in love with Islam all over again. I started with Quran classes, and over time I progressed into Aqeedah and Arabic-speaking sessions. Each lesson has deepened my understanding and built a genuine connection between myself and the faith.

What makes My Madrassa special is not just the knowledge being passed on, but the way it is passed on — with compassion, flexibility, and clarity. The teachers are incredibly wise and skilful, always emphasising consistency over intensity. This approach has made learning sustainable, enjoyable, and spiritually fulfilling. They understand that knowledge is a lifelong journey and have helped me walk this path with confidence.

Alhamdulillah, their impact on me has extended to my family too. I was so moved by their teaching that I encouraged my father, mother, and sisters to join — and now we all study together. That alone speaks volumes about the inclusivity, adaptability, and strength of their teaching methods. Whether you’re a child, an adult, or an elder, My Madrassa meets you where you are.

What truly sets them apart is their sincerity. You can feel that the teachers don’t just want to deliver a lesson — they want you to succeed in this life and the next. They are sincere in their mission, and they care about your growth. I now look forward to every class, knowing that I’m being taught the correct, balanced teachings of Islam by people who want only khayr for me.

I cannot thank my teachers and this institution enough. They’ve helped me go from someone with no knowledge to someone with a foundation, a love for learning, and an eagerness to continue growing. There’s still a long way to go, but with My Madrassa, I feel supported and motivated every step of the way. May Allah bless them abundantly and allow them to continue being a source of benefit for the Ummah. Ameen.

MashaAllah sheikh is really natural and pedagogical you don’t learn arabic on strict rules but by laughing and enjoying alhamdoulilah.

Words can't explain how amazing this environment has been for me. Throughout my time here as a more mature student the teachers have been nothing but supportive. Despite my lack of reading ability initially they guided me through the process of learning rules and articulation of arabic letters. Never once did I felt the teacher rushed me to see other students. As well as that, the main teacher used to invite my inquisitiveness in asking islamic questions, despite it not being Qur'an related and really helped in my development.
