I was disappointed that the cost of the therapy sessions was not explained to me prior to booking in and that it is almost exactly as expensive as in person therapy (I thought the point of going online was to reduce the cost significantly).
The quality of the video chat is also pretty poor which can really disrupt the flow of the session.
I also find my therapist a bit distracted/looking away during the sessions as if they are on their phone which I find pretty disappointing and irritating.
The set up is easy though and the reminders of upcoming sessions are also useful.

I've had two sessions so far with my therapist, and it's going well. I'm glad the app found me a good match.

I have only had one session yet but from what I have had, it’s easy to get started and the therapist was matched very well. The information on the website is also useful in-between sessions.

Very easy to use platform. I've only had one session so far, but the therapist was excellent and put me very much at ease - plus the tech worked seamlessly.

I got MyOnlineTherapy to help me through some past issues actively affecting my life. I answered all the initial questions and was paired with a therapist. After paying for an appointment, the clinician said they couldn't see me because of where I lived, which in my opinion is an enormous oversight on the part of the company. After 4 days they matched me with a second clinician. I asked if my location would be an issues, they assured me it wasn't.
This 2nd clinician asked if I would be willing to basically do (and therefore pay for) another intake appointment with her. When I explained what had happened with the first clinician, this clinician stopped responding and I start getting messages from the company saying not to book with this clinician either. A week later I get a 3rd recommendation, which they openly admit isn't the best fit for me but would see me...but doesn't have any openings for 3 weeks. This what will be over a month delay has negatively impacted my daily life. While the clinicians have been kind I have been unimpressed with the company itself.

Great experience, online makes it flexible to choose a time that best suits you without the thought of having to leave your home.

I particularly liked the fact I got to choose my own therapist based on a personal profile I felt most comfortable with.

This service is brilliant. I use the five day chat option for when I am struggling and it always helps. My therapist has been brilliant on both of the occasions I have asked for support and guidance.

Really easy to use. Lots of information available

I've had a few sessions with my therapist and am happy with her approach and her probing of things which I may have overlooked. Early days but helpful I feel. The ease of the online booking and the convenience of video chats is prefect for me as I am very time restricted. Also helps that i can find a private place where I can chat and prepare. I would recommend this.

Easy to use, my therapist was great. I love that you can see all their specialisms and I love that geography doesn't have to be a constraint for picking the best therapist for you. I honestly don't think I will go back to in-person therapy even after covid.
