Just want to update my negative review about this company. The company actually took contact with me and explain what could’ve gone wrong in my delivery and I accepted their explanation and I am thankful that they actually took contact with me. They’re very nice and kind so I am taking back my negative review and giving them a positive one.❤️❤️❤️

The roti is horrible, it is not like trini roti, it is to thick and hea y not enough filling and yes I am from Trinidad.

A deeply disappointing and discriminatory experience

I would give zero stars if I could. My time working at My Trini Shop was one of the most disheartening experiences of my career. When I fell ill, instead of receiving understanding or basic compassion, I was treated with hostility and disrespect. The management’s attitude changed overnight, the kindness they show on the surface is nothing more than a façade.

The environment is toxic, with favoritism and hypocrisy running deep. Respect is preached but never practiced. I was even called an “immigrant” in a demeaning tone, something no employee should ever have to experience in a workplace.

If you value fairness, empathy, and genuine professionalism, think twice before supporting or working for this establishment. Behind the smiles lies a culture of discrimination and double standards.
The smiles and “family” talk they show in public are completely fake. Behind closed doors, there’s no compassion, no respect, no understanding. What hurt the most was being called an “immigrant”, not as a fact, but as an insult. To be spoken to like that.

No one deserves to be treated like that. This place hides behind a friendly image, but behind the counter is a culture of hypocrisy, favoritism, and disrespect. Working there made me realize how easily kindness is replaced with cruelty when you’re vulnerable.

This shop was recommended to me and it is well worth it. All products and produce arrived quickly, well packaged and in excellent fresh condition. I have been here for 30yrs plus and only now have been able to find things from home. I spoke to Sharon not sure if she is the owner but excellent customer service. Thank you. This shop is well worth a visit.

Very poor customer service from lady on phone. Tried explaining how disappointing a product I received was & instead tried to pass to supplier. Poor show of customer care. Instead of saying how can I restore your faith in our business? They have lost a good customer. Bye bye Trini shop.

Good customer experience from ordering through to delivery. Very careful packaging. Also it's the only way to get the famous Puncheon rum as you're not allowed to bring it back from TT on the plane - too powerful!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the ordering process was and the delivery is expertly handled with immediate tracking details and quick delivery.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who's wondering about trying the service.

As a British/Trinidadian family, it is nice to be able to buy the same brands of Trini foods as one might get in any supermarket in Trinidad. It works out slightly easier than either bringing such things back from a trip, or getting a relative to do so, or visiting a West Indian enclave in London, but the prices have been getting a bit steep of late. This may, in part, be down to certain companies upping their prices (Mudder'n'Law jumps to mind). Either way, this tends to limit the amount I am able to spend in any given shopping spree.

Fast delivery. Excellent products. Reasonable prices. Customer service was outstanding. One of my items broke in transit and mytrini shop handled things so quickly and were so professional. I have shopped with them several times now and highly recommend.
