I recently engaged with a company named MyTripUK, which is trading as Flightech Ltd, but I feel compelled to share my experience, which regrettably highlights some significant issues that potential customers should be aware of. Moreover, it appears that certain legislative guidelines may have been contravened during my interaction with them, particularly in relation to consumer protection acts.
Upon booking, I found myself in a situation that necessitated canceling my flight within a mere three days. I promptly reached out to MyTripUK, trading as Flightech Ltd, hoping to follow their stipulated cancellation procedure. However, it was at this juncture that my initial trust in their professionalism began to erode. Their response, requesting an email for cancellation along with bank details, set off alarms. These are not the standard practices of reputable businesses and could potentially infringe upon consumer protection regulations, such as the Consumer Rights Act.
What is also troubling is the involvement of a third-party entity in the payment process. While I engaged with MyTripUK (Flightech Ltd), the company to which I sent my payment, Times Travel Ltd, is a distinct entity. Such discrepancies raise concerns about the legitimacy of the company's operations, as well as the introduction of potential complications due to third-party payment involvement, further emphasizing the importance of caution in dealing with them.
Compounding these issues is the fact that MyTripUK (Flightech Ltd) only accepts payment through bank transfer to the third-party company, Times Travel Ltd. This limited payment option, coupled with the absence of credit/debit card payment, raises further doubts about MyTripUK's intentions. In an era where secure online transactions are not only expected but widely implemented, the insistence on bank transfers is indeed perplexing. This insistence prompts speculation about their motives and raises questions about their compliance with financial regulations and anti-fraud measures, possibly including the Payment Services Regulations.
After complying with their unusual demands, I received an unexpected phone call from MyTripUK (Flightech Ltd). In stark contrast to what one would expect from a customer-centric company, they informed me that despite the cancellation, I would only be eligible for a meager £120 refund out of £700, and that too, in a staggering eight months' time. This discrepancy between their promises and actions is disheartening and raises concerns about compliance with consumer rights legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act and the Unfair Trading Regulations.
When I initially inquired about the cancellation process, I received no indication that my decision would result in such a significant financial loss. This lack of transparency could potentially be seen as a breach of consumer protection laws that require companies to provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers, as outlined in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations.
In conclusion, my experience with MyTripUK (Flightech Ltd) has been deeply unsatisfactory and raises concerns about potential contraventions of consumer protection acts designed to safeguard customers and ensure fair business practices. The involvement of third-party payments, the limited and suspicious payment options, the lack of transparency, ethical lapses, and unorthodox practices, coupled with potential legislative non-compliance and discrepancies in company names, have left me with a sense of disappointment and distrust. I strongly urge potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternate options when making travel arrangements. A business that fails to uphold the values of transparency, honesty, and customer-oriented service, while potentially infringing upon established consumer protection acts, is unfortunately one that warrants skepticism and avoidance! This agent Mohib from this companies was of enormous help for me in managing my family tickets and connecting different flights and dates which was a big confusion for me. This was the first time using this travel agency. Mr Anas dealt with every issue and concerns i had and went out his way to ensure i was satisfied with the booking. Every detail was executed to perfection. I was extremely satisfied with the scheduling and the responsive back and forth communication by Anas. i recommend you speak to Anas in particular as he is not just doing his job but will go that extra mile to ensure you get the best deal. my flight is not due until December i will be writing a further review on the whole experience after my flight! At first I was sceptical about paying some one online but now going through the Journey to Pakistan 🇵🇰 and back to UK 🇬🇧 I would say My TripUK provided an excellent service and was true to every promise they made. Thank You waqar and and thank you MyTrip UK. You have a loyal customer now.

I had booked some tickets and was very hesitant as not used this company before.I was not sure if genuine and I after did the bank transfer was very anxious and nervous as had not received any document emails.Waqar the advisor was so patient so helpful and supportive he tried to reassure me that all the information would arrive before 8pm as it was a Saturday that I made the booking.Waqar is a amazing helpful agent put my mid at rest I would use this company again just because of his customer service
