I have used namebright since 2014 and never had any issues or cause for concern. today when login I was unable to receive OTP via text or email so email support team and Ryan called to assist me and resolved the issue. I then asked how to delegate access to allow our new IT team to manage our domain settings etc for web hosting and Ryan was very supportive and talked me through the process.. I really appreciated his knowledge and explanations its nice to have a curtius interaction with support team. Well done and many thanks

Everyone should be posting these also to the BBB — If this was the last place on earth available to host your website i would say do not use it. I have been having issues with my DNS records for week and am unable to even get on my account. I have left voicemails, sent emails and nobody works at this company apparently. Use go daddy - i would if i could but now im at the liberty of this apparently invisible company to release my domain to even transfer. Living a nightmare. Dont make the mistakes i made. I have also reported this to the better business bureau

Brian and Ryan are very unprofessional and do not listen to people or the information sent to them. Questions are always met with I don't know or minutes of silence like they are looking up the answer or using Chatgpt to answer the questions I am asking. Brian is extremely hostile and loves to escalate the situation. One of the worse representatives I've had the displeasure of talking to.

Scammers - stealing domains and offer them for ransom - yet, legitimised by... whatever! Big cheats scammers! Avoid them - don't pay them! Let them rotten in their own tricks!

This registrar hosts phishing websites, and then protects them. Does not heed to abuse complaints.

Despite repeated complaints, it refuses to take down the website. There have been too many victims of phishing- but the website still stays up. Why is the registrar protecting this website?

NameBright is the worst platform for managing your domains. You cannot access the website normally; you must go to legacy.namebright.com and then click 'Try the new one (namebright)'. Sometimes it won't open because of Cloudflare verification and gets stuck there. Such a waste of time. Namebright, you have to find a solution for that.

I have searched about domain name then i checkout to see if i have promo code or something like that and it didn't show credit card details or anything just it registered and took money from my card then i sent it to customer service but they replied we can't refund

NameBright is a very bad platform. Poor support, and issues with simple DNS

I’ve been buying and reselling domains through NameBright / DropCatch, and honestly, it’s been a nightmare.
• First, my account was blocked without warning, and I was asked to submit my ID.
• I sent it right away, and after 3 days they finally reactivated my account.
• But now, without any explanation, they’ve blocked me again.

As a domainer, this is completely unacceptable. We invest money, time, and trust into these platforms, yet they treat accounts carelessly and provide zero transparency.

It feels like they’re holding my domains hostage. Domainers deserve clear communication, fair support, and reliable service — not random blocks and unanswered questions.

I cannot recommend NameBright / DropCatch based on this experience.

I accidentally bought a domain with an extra 's' and contacted support just minutes later to cancel it and request a refund. I clearly explained the mistake. Two days later, I get a generic response saying it's too late and nothing can be done. That’s unacceptable. I've dealt with other registrars and they’ve always refunded or offered a coupon as long as the domain was still under 24 hours. It’s a basic courtesy in this industry. NameBright? Completely rigid and unhelpful. This is the first and definitely the last time I’ll ever use their service. Total waste of time and money.

Bought 12 domain and the domain on hold, they asking for data verification and then they asking another, and then they asking another file, and many more reason until none of the problem solved.
If you reply them again, they won't reply you.
Buy 12 domains for nothing and it take auto renew even the domain is on hold. My suggestion for those who have same issue like me, report to ICANN.

One star isn't enough tho

Scam! Phishing site! I bought over ten domain names, but they didn't resolve. After waiting a day or two, it showed my account was restricted. No feedback at all. I emailed customer service, but they didn't respond!

they should have 0 star rating, i bought a domain then icouldn't login anymore. everytime i try to login it gives me an "access unavailable" message, i tried to use their the old site and i always get a failed login message because either the username or password are incorrect, even after using the forget password feature several times. always the same error. I tried to contact the support team but got no response.

I purchased a domain officially through DomainCoasters and was then redirected to NameBright to manage it. Everything seemed fine at first, but without my permission, and without any prior email notification or warning, the domain I paid for was sold to someone else!

This is absolutely unacceptable. I had no chance to renew it, no clear communication, and no transparency from either company. DomainCoasters and NameBright simply passed the blame between each other while my domain was taken away.

I feel completely scammed. If you value your domains and your money, avoid DomainCoasters and NameBright at all costs. They operate with zero accountability and put customers at serious risk of losing their domains without notice.

I've been with them for a few years now.
They offer basic domaining tools and are doing it just fine (and support is responsive via email).
That's my opinion and experience

I have conducted transactions with various domain registrar companies, and I noticed a cheap domain registration promotion on NameBright.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a nightmare for me.
NameBright suddenly restricted access to my account dashboard.
My account was unilaterally locked, and I tried contacting their support, but received no response.

I’m truly disappointed with NameBright’s service.
Be careful when shopping here.

They suddenly locked my account without any email notification, and proceeded to auction off my company's brand domain without warning.
I honestly don’t understand how this kind of dishonest registrar is still allowed to operate.

Accepted payment of more than $1000 for a domain and is not allowing it to be transferred for my use. I’m pretty sure this is called THEFT. Outrageous and blatantly fraudulent business, in my experience.
