Rent a car NANIKO' IS TO BE AVOIDED
Rent a car NANIKO' IS TO BE AVOIDED. Through EconomyCarRentals I rented an SUV, Nissan Terrano or similar. The car pick-up took place in the airport's free parking lot (why are airport taxes and a Premium location fee charged?) amid shouts from drivers complaining about the inconvenience caused by Naniko's staff, whose rental operations blocked the passage, until the arrival of the police who chased them away. They handed us a Dacia Duster with 150,000 km, old, dirty, with huge stains on all the seats, the bodywork in very bad condition, a dented rim, and much more. The pick-up procedure was extremely long, mainly due to the need to check and document the terrible condition of the car. Same evening of the pick-up day, we found ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire, and a couple of days later a battery terminal came loose. Problems solved thanks to the great kindness and helpfulness of the Armenians. It's better not to dwell on the car drop-off procedure. The 500 USD security deposit was returned 30 days after returning the car and following insistent and repeated requests. TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!
