As an owner-operated and locally-owned business, we take pride in providing the best customer experience possible while ensuring minimal negative impact on the environment and wildlife. Snorkeling with manatees through Nature's Discovery is more likely to get you one-on-one time with the wildlife due to our small-group tour sizes. We like to recommend private manatee swim tours to ensure that any beginner snorkelers or young children can be well taken care of by on our guided manatee swims. On our private tours, the photos are provided complementary as part of an all-inclusive package to ensure a stress-free way to enjoy your stay in Crystal River. Our company began with simple goals: to entertain, educate, and instill an appreciation of the Florida Manatee into each of our guests. At Nature's Discovery, we focus on intimate, family-oriented tours and small-passenger vessels to help ensure great experiences with wildlife without putting any unnecessary strain on our ecology. Swimming with manatees in Crystal River is an experience unlike any other. It is an exciting experience to get up-close to such a large mammal, but it is often a tranquil and eye-opening experience for our guests as well. If you have never been near a wild animal often more than five times your size, it can be quite humbling! Do not fret, however because these gentle giants are as peaceful as they are massive.
