The quality of these collectible toys is absolutely awful. Paint chipping and peeling out of the box, broken pieces in the new unopened box. Stiff joints that break the figures by moving, loose joints... ãã£ãšèŠã
I cannot believe how unorganized NECA haha become. We send them out hard earned money and they do not care. Iâve tried buying from them several times and recently A Sci Fi and Horror Blind Box... ãã£ãšèŠã

5 Stars â Huge improvement from NECA!
I have to give NECA a lot of credit â they have made some serious improvements, and my recent experience was excellent.
They recently fulfilled two of my pre-orders, and both arrived in fantastic condition. As an in-box collector, packaging is a huge deal to me, and NECA absolutely delivered. Everything was packed securely and with care, and I was very happy to see no damage to the hanger tabs, no bent corners, and no damage to the boxes at all. That kind of attention really matters to collectors.
I know NECA has had some issues in the past, especially when it came to pre-orders and timing, so I want to be fair and honest about that. But from what Iâve seen recently, they are clearly improving on all fronts. The difference is noticeable.
Pre-orders can still be a little tricky just because collectible releases donât always have exact arrival dates, but thatâs part of the nature of the business. What matters most is that when the items did arrive, NECA handled everything very well, and the overall experience was a big step up from before.
Itâs great to see a company make meaningful improvements, and based on these last two orders, I can confidently say NECA is moving in a very positive direction. Iâm extremely pleased with my experience and would definitely order from them again.
Highly recommend â especially if they keep this level of care and consistency going.
NECA Failed to Deliver My Collector Orders After a Year
Iâve been a NECA customer for years because many of their collector items never reach Europe, which means I have no choice but to order directly from their website, pay high shipping costs, and deal with additional taxes. Unfortunately, the overall experience has become consistently mediocre, and my latest orders were the worst so far.
I purchased several Comic-Con exclusives, including the TMNT Kevin Eastman âGarbage Manâ figure, almost a year ago. After months of silence, I contacted NECA to ask about the shipping status. They replied saying the item would ship âin the next days.â Shortly after, they contacted me again to say they actually had no stock.
This is unacceptable for a limited collector preorder that was paid upfront. To make things worse, the same issue is now happening with another preorder I made. Itâs hard to understand why NECA continues to sell limited collector items if they cannot guarantee fulfillment.
Their only solution was to offer a refund or store credit â but these figures are now selling for up to seven times the original price on the secondary market. A simple refund does not compensate for the lost opportunity, the long wait, or the misleading communication.
As an international customer, I already pay more than most people for NECA products. The least I expect is reliability, transparency, and respect for collectors. Sadly, NECA has shown very little care for customers outside the US, and these repeated issues make it hard to trust them with future preorders.
I hope NECA seriously reconsiders how they handle exclusives and international customers, because right now the experience is far from what a collector-focused company should provide.
They keep your money and never actually ship anything
NECA is the kind of company you just wonder how it stays in business. It is so shady to its customer base. NEVER PRE ORDER from NECA. They will send their products to the stores before they send it to the customers who pre order. They also do not allow you to cancel a pre order - which is completely insane to me. They take the full price of the item immediately and then give a vague quarter of the year it might be shipped and then just do what they want - maybe they ship it, maybe they don't, maybe they move the date. All while they have your money - pretty sure that isn't kosher, but they do it all the time. NEVER purchase directly from them as they are an absolute nightmare. I refuse to order anything as I have had so many gift giving occasions for my collector ruined because they just don't honor their dates or act in good faith. They are the worst.

At NECA store, some solutions were offered, but the delivery traking system and chosen courier(s) are a nightmare. Boxes were delivered a bit crushed, but I sort of expected it. I had ordered a few years back and had no issues, but I doubt I'll be ordering again.

I'd give them a minus 10. I will NEVER order anything else from Neca. I paid for a pre-order and never received the product even after sending several emails, which I never received any response. Please be careful and dont get ripped off like my grandson and I.
TMNT preorder never was shipped.
I preordered a TMNT product almost a year ago. After not receiving it after almost a year I decided to reach out to NECA. Over the next couple days, they asked some question's and were very polite. They shipped out my product and checked in to make sure all was resolved. Rather than listen to the language on-line, try reaching out in a calm manner. I contacted them without anger and without accusation. In the end I can only say that my experience was a great one. Thank you NECA Support.
Dishonest, closed my order and not giving me back my refund
Horrible experience. I placed an order back in 2021, and they have never sent me the missing item (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990 Movie) â 7â Scale Action Figure â Foot Soldier 2-pack with Weapon Rack â Pre-Order).
It was two pre-order items, and you have to pay upfront when ordering. They shipped only 1 out of 2 items, and ever since then, my order has always shown as âpartially fulfilled.â
I tried contacting them by email, and as many others have experienced, they neverâor intentionally neverârespond to emails.
Recently, I sent another email, and this time they replied quickly. However, they told me my order was âclosed,â and that there was nothing they could do now.
I just checked my order again on the NECA website, and under my missing item, they marked it as âFulfilled.â What a joke.
You charged me $51.99 USD and never sent my itemâand now youâre claiming my order is fulfilled. What kind of dishonest business is this? Who would have thought that buying from the official store could turn into this kind of issueâand theyâre not even refunding me.

Ordered something for my husband for Christmas and had it delivered to a friend so that he would not see it. Never received notification on delivery or arrival. But the biggest issue is that the ear on Greta the Gremlin is damaged. Tried to email them from 3 different email address and all bounced back stating Neca saw my email as SPAM seriously? and am unable to locate a phone number to call them so how am I supposed to get this resolved. This item was $360 with shipping and I would like a resolution to this but there is no way that I am able to contact them.

That my item has been shipped out after I placed my order on 12/11/2025 at 3:45 PM. But, it was delivered by USPS on 12/18 or 12/19. And, NECA never said that it would be coming from Beloit Wisconsin. So, about 7-8 days waiting time. But, delivered before Christmas. Item is in perfect condition. The 1966 Batman TV Series Batman's Batarang prop replica. & it was placed in a over pack card board box. But, it had little packing material in it. To prevent any damage to the item. Thank you NECA! But, I never did get a notice that my order was being picked,& packed up & shipped out. And NECA never sent me an email with a tracking number for my item. Or, a notice that my item was ready to ship out. & no shipping company info. The item was The Batman Classic TV Series 1966 Batman's Batarang. Folding 15 inch hard plastic prop replica. With included white nylon rope & attachment AS advertised.

Package arrived pretty quickly, was a in stock item, canât speak to pre-orders. Customer service responded quickly to my question. Iâll definitely be buying again!
damaged items and useless customer service
I pre-ordered the âWhat we do in the shadowsâ figures in April and they arrived last week. 2 of the figures packaging was open and 1 of them had damaged packaging. I contacted customer services and their response is âthey do not guarantee product box/ packagingâ and that if you want âmint-conditionâ you basically have to order from other companies as they want to keep their costs down.
For a company that sells to collectors they have terrible customer service/ packaging. This issue is caused by only a thin layer of air bubble padding being used on the bottom and nothing on top of the products to secure them in the box.
I highly recommend not shopping with NECA and wished that I had saved my money rather than receiving damaged goods

Wish I would have read reviews first. Bought the new Dracula x TMNT collectable. Original package arrived ripped and out of place. Took pictures and asked for an exchange but they don't do refunds or exchanges. As a collector I'm super disappointed.

I purchased a NECA Jason Voorhees replica mask. Had it for a few days and my wife knocked it off the hook it was hanging on in my rec room. Found out it is made of just brittle resin. No reinforcment of any form used in manufacturing. So itâs broken. I messaged NECA customer service at customerservice at necaonline.com and told them what happened and suggested that they change the way itâs manufactured for future products. We are paying a lot of money for these collectables and expect quality. Their response was very disappointing.
