We cannot thank Emma enough for her dedication, passion and knowledge in supporting and preparing my son for both his consortium and Catholic 11+ entrance exams.

As parents with no prior knowledge or experience of these types of exams, we have found Emma’s guidance and regular feedback throughout the year incredibly valuable. She has always taken the time to keep us informed of my son’s progress and provide helpful feedback, which has given us greater confidence and reassurance throughout the preparation process.

Emma is also incredibly flexible and accommodating when it comes to rearranging missed lessons or arranging additional sessions when needed, which we have really appreciated.

We are truly grateful for all the time, effort and care she has invested in helping my son prepare for this important milestone. We feel very lucky to have found Emma and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parents looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated and supportive 11+ tutor!

My twin daughters attended 11+ tuition classes during the 2025/26 school year, and it was a wonderful experience. The classes are exceptionally well-structured, thoroughly covering every question type tested in the GL exam. Both tutors, Ermish and Faezeh, are highly experienced, patient, and knowledgeable about key exam techniques. Thanks to their guidance, my daughters went into exam day feeling confident and well-prepared—and came out feeling very positive about their performance.

We had Yvonne Childs for my sons 11+ tutor, she was absolutely fantastic and my son enjoyed every session with her, she was very knowledgeable and had a fantastic teaching style that kept my son engaged and eager to improve. My son started lessons with Emma in January this year. As a family, we weren’t really sure how best to prepare for the 11+ exam, so meeting Emma has been such a relief and a real blessing for us.

Emma took the time to understand my son’s strengths and the areas he found more challenging. She tailored her lessons to his individual needs and always supported and encouraged him when he struggled.

Above all, Emma has always communicated well with us as parents. Whenever there was anything to arrange or adjust regarding the lesson schedule, she kept us updated promptly, so there was no any confusion.

We are especially grateful for the calm, patient and positive way Emma has guided my son. Her support has helped him become more confident in his learning, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress he has made.

We honestly can’t recommend Anya enough. My daughter has absolutely loved her time with Anya and has looked forward to her sessions. Over the past two years, Anya has helped her grow so much, not only academically but also in her confidence and belief in herself.

One of the biggest changes we have seen is how much more confident my daughter has become in asking questions and speaking up when she doesn’t understand something. Anya has created such a comfortable and supportive environment where she feels safe to ask questions without feeling embarrassed or worried about getting something wrong.

Anya has also been incredibly understanding of my daughter’s dyslexia and has always adapted the sessions to suit her individual needs, making sure she worked at a pace that was comfortable for her. She has shown so much patience, encouragement and understanding throughout.

We have been working with Anya for over two years, and we genuinely feel it has made such a positive difference to our daughter. The confidence she has gained has been amazing to see, and we are so grateful for all the support Anya has given her.

Emily has been tutoring my daughter for the last two years (4&5) and prepared her extremely well for the 11+ exam. We found Emily’s communication to be excellent, her teaching style is precise yet fun - it never felt like a chore. We went to Emily for two hours per week, and attended the summer school for 15 full days over the summer- I thought my daughter might moan about the extra work but she absolutely loved it and made some new friends !! The Newell mock exams were also very helpful and settled the nerves before the big day. A great experience all round. We love Emily so much we’ve decided to stay on in year 6 for SATS preparation.

My daughter just finished her sessions recently with Newell. Her tutor, Louise, is brilliant. My daughter thinks she explains the subjects really well but will also support critical thinking. My daughter enjoys her sessions with her.

My son just completed a year of 11+ tuition at Newell with his tutor, Erin, and I'm really happy with the support he received. They worked together to identify areas of weakness and, on exam day, he was feeling very confident. I also think this was in large part due to Erin's encouragement and enthusiasm. No child enjoys extra work, but my son never complained about going to his tutor.
