This one is a Membership towards Fees, but if after 1 year, your Sales don't match the Membership, either you leave or Waste Money on the Yearly Membership!

I chose New Generation Publishing as a first time author because their proposition was clear and they offered a choice of packages. The typesetting and sign off stages went smoothly and communication was good. There were no hidden charges. I am delighted with the quality of the finished book, both paperback and hardback. The book looks just as I hoped it would, and certainly as good as any traditional publisher might produce, in my view.
I have been a little disappointed with the subsequent stages, such as delivery of my complimentary copy, which was slow. The book was placed on Amazon, but I was not informed in advance, so I had to chase to get verification in order to place my bio and picture on that site. It also took longer than I hoped for NGP to place the book on its own website and to supply the draft press release, which was part of the package I choose.
Having said all that, if I were to publish another book, I would be happy to use NGP again. They provide good value for money and a quality product.

An extremely helpful company, they responded very quickly , were helpful at every stage . I couldn’t be more delighted.

I’ve been using New Generation Publishing (NGP) for six months or more. They’ve published two thrillers at my commission and I am definitely planning to use their services for the next several volumes.
Let me start with the snags, then I’ll go on to why I like them.
I feel that NGP charge too much for the books they sell. Price per volume is more expensive than equivalent paperback thrillers from traditional houses. I feel also that NGP’s production office could be somewhat more generous with its advice as to presentation and cover.
That said, I find that NGP produce a good-looking, professional-quality product, whether in paperback (my own series) or hardback (I bought one of their titles, out of interest). I’ve discovered no hidden charges anywhere, and I feel that I’ve built up a sound rapport with the sales team.
My deal with NGP is the absolute rock-bottom entry price for publishing my books. Here’s for why:
I’m a retired professional journalist (Financial Times night newsroom) and, aside from my newspaper career, I’ve had eight books published by traditional houses where they paid me. With NGP, I pay them to publish: a decision I took in the light of my distaste at the thought of conforming any longer with writing that London literary agents appear to want.
That means that (1) I am confident that my writing is well up to publishable standard; (2) I am a trained, highly experienced editor and am – just about – confident enough to rely on my own editing and proof-reading.
NGP offers editing and proof-reading services, but I have avoided those on grounds of cost.
Needless to say, every book that I send to NGP has been read countless times – mostly by me, often with a further reader to help me. Editing one’s own material is a can of worms, but after all these years, I’m prepared to risk it.
Had I not had the benefit of the experience shown here, I might well have opted for NGP’s editing and proof-reading. As it is, I’m managing without that, but, in any case, I have no hesitation in recommending the company if you want to publish your book.

Such a supportive and helpful publishing company. They communicate very well and ensure your happy every step of the way.

The production of both my books are very good and high quality, at a reasonable price compared to other publishers. They have always been extremely helpful and encouraging on the phone, and appear to be interested in the progress of my sales. I have never felt alone in this journey of writing.

I was trying to purchase an out of print book from 2008. I live in Australia and I contacted the publisher in UK, on the off chance they could help.
I was so happy that they could print off a copy of the book. I expected to receive just pages printed, however, it was a real book with cover and 449 pages.
The price and postage were a very good price and my only problem was using the payment link as it didn't work from Australia.
I called them and paid by phone and I had my book within a week!
I had a great experience with this company. The staff, correspondence, help and service is worth more than the 5 stars I can give them. Thank you so much for such great service and a beautiful book! First contact 9th January and I received my book on 18th January. That is awesome service!

After speaking to New Generation's David Walshaw, on 26/06/2025 I submitted my manuscript for their Critique Review service, plus the fee of £299.00.

Three months later and despite repeated attempts and requests for information, I have heard nothing - no Review, no explanation, no refund - nothing. What's going on?

I've been really happy with my experience with NGP so far. Daniel was extremely compassionate with me at the beginning of when I was going through a really tough time. He felt like someone I could be honest with and wasn't rigid about procedures, accommodating me when I needed more time etc. The Production Team have turned everything around almost instantly. They've been accommodating as I've made changes to my manuscript.

NGP do everything for you - listing the book on all sites, platforms, across continents. I could never have done that myself. I haven't received my royalties yet as these are sent out in April and October, but NGP have let me know how many copies I've sold whenever I've asked so I've been able to keep a record of sales.

The last three books I published were taken care of by New Generation Publishing.

From the moment I email the drafts to the final products being made available in online stores; everything runs smoothly. I am always aware of the different stages the book is going through. Communication and transparency are present and effective all the way.
For instance, when it comes to correcting, editing; proofreading the books; their operatives work patiently at taking into account ideas, corrections… and diligently at incorporating them into the work in progress.

I still have book ideas and thus far, New Generation Publishing is where I am planning to publish those.

From the first contact with NGP personnel I felt welcome. Although being anonymous for them, a foreigner, not living nor working in the UK, with English not being my mother tongue, although my book is tiny, with just over 100 pages of text, they gave me an opportunity. And I took it. And I am grateful and happy to do so.
Thus, i would sincerely recommend NGP as the publishers by all means.

I was let down (Review for a range of dates in 2024).

What worked: I appreciated the fact that although I missed the deadline for the discounted publishing package of £1300 instead of £1000 I was still granted it by the publishing consultant. Secondly, the range of errors and manner of correcting them, I was informed, could have run into the several hundred pounds but the consultant recommended a way of rectifying the errors at minimal cost. What didn’t work so well: I ended up designing the book cover with enhancements from the design team. At several stages, I made it clear that I wished to be credited for my work as well as suggesting the designers obtain credit for theirs. To my chagrin, New Generation failed to do this. I felt angry, especially as I paid £1200 for personal copies and couldn’t look at the book without seeing conflict and lost interest in promoting it. Additionally, the book came to me with kinks in which was explained via a call to the consultant as the “wave”. I sought further written explanation for the quality of copies (which should have been explained from the outset) as well as the missing credit. I didn’t get a response from the consultant and felt I was purposely blanked. I invited New Generation to fix the issue in some way but they never did. Furthermore, I had to approach other persons in the company to progress other promotion matters. Very poor.
Later, I was contacted by production manager as though nothing had happened. I pointed out that I am not a charity but paid good money for their services and to me they behaved as a cult, closing ranks.

Please check everything before signing. View sample copies. Ask how they will address issues and complaints if things go wrong. Ask about length of time it will take to get corrected manuscript back and about production stopping whilst manager is away.
