Dear NYCServers Support,

I am writing to formally escalate several unresolved issues regarding my services with NYCServers.

I currently have the following open tickets:

#KBP-463470 – Confirmation of Physical Data Center Locations (NY4, HK1 and Current VPS) — opened on August 21, 2026;
#HDD-386811 – Service Cancellation and Refund Request — currently open;
#HYY-134707 – Urgent: Refund Request and Unauthorized Automatic Renewal — currently open.

The first matter is particularly concerning.

I purchased the service with the understanding that the VPS was being provided at or within the Equinix LD4 infrastructure. However, after verifying the physical location, I found that the server does not appear to be physically located at the Equinix LD4 facility, but rather in another building several blocks away.

This is not a minor technical matter. The physical location of a VPS is material information for a trading VPS service, particularly with respect to network latency, connectivity, and the infrastructure being advertised to the customer.

Therefore, I require a clear and documented explanation regarding:

The exact physical facility where my VPS is currently hosted;
The name and address of the data center/facility;
Whether the server is physically located inside Equinix LD4, or whether it is merely connected/interconnected to the Equinix LD4 infrastructure;
If NYCServers uses the term "Equinix LD4" to refer to network connectivity rather than the physical location of the server, this must be clearly explained;
I also request similar clarification regarding the other locations advertised by NYCServers, where applicable.

I also formally dispute the automatic renewal charge associated with my service.

I did not authorize this automatic renewal, and I have already requested cancellation of the service and a refund of the charge.

Therefore, I am requesting:

a full refund of the unauthorized renewal charge;
confirmation of the permanent cancellation of the service;
confirmation that no further automatic charges will be made.
Formal Notice

Please consider this message a formal notice and a final opportunity to resolve these matters directly with NYCServers.

I expect a substantive response to these matters within 5 business days of this notice.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response within that period, I will proceed with the appropriate external complaint and dispute channels, including:

filing a complaint with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP);
filing a complaint with the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General – Consumer Assistance Unit;
formally disputing the charge with my credit-card issuer, as this renewal was not authorized by me;
and documenting the matter on consumer-review and complaint platforms, including Trustpilot.

If necessary, I will provide these organizations with copies of the relevant support tickets, invoices, payment records, correspondence, and documentation concerning the advertised server location.

I would prefer to resolve this matter directly with NYCServers without external escalation.

However, considering that my original inquiry regarding the physical server location has remained unresolved since August 21, 2026, and that a renewal charge was processed despite my request to cancel the service, I believe it is appropriate to formally escalate this matter.

I therefore request a substantive response to all three tickets, including confirmation of the cancellation and refund status.

I can't log into my VPS, even though I've paid, and the support team isn't helping me.

Fantastic support. They always respond to my requests immediately. The fastest I have ever experienced with a VPS provider.
The VPS runs perfectly.

Worst customer service, their "live" chat is useless, couldnt get to chat to anyone for hours. Never sent me the login details, VPS laggy...

I had a terrible experience with NewYorkCityServers. The VPS connection is extremely unstable with constant dropouts, and the server shuts down randomly for no reason. The performance is far below expectations — on the “VBasic” plan, I can only run one EA without issues, whereas other providers’ basic plans easily handle three.

The latency is also horrible — even basic navigation on the VPS feels laggy and frustrating. Overall, the service quality and reliability are very poor, and I would not recommend NewYorkCityServers to anyone looking for a dependable VPS solution.

It was my first time using a VPS, and I subscribed to the Pro plan for one year. The service has been very professional overall. I had two issues previously, both of which were resolved within an hour — excellent support.

However, today I’ve been unable to connect to my VPS for about an hour and am still waiting for assistance. It seems the support team might be busy, so I’m waiting patiently.

Overall, I still recommend this VPS provider for their quality and professionalism.

These guys are ruthless and will charge your credit card on autopay even though the account had been cancelled before the rebill date by two weeks. Support, don't want to know you, which all up is very poor considering I was with them for 3 years.
I was charged for a year with no refund on offer very poor avoid at all costs

Not great at all! They were quick to take charge me but it's been over 6 hours and there is no response, no VPS, still pending!
The website claims "Your VPS will be setup instantly after you pay for your service order" but this is a lie, chat says ONLINE but no one responds, also submited a ticket 3h ago, and so far no response either!

I have ordered my VPS more than 2 hours now. The billing payment is confirmed by email but suddenly I was log out of my client area and i tried to log back, but it fails saying that my login details are incorrect. I tried to reset my password, however no resetting mail comes from NYC. Up till now I have not even received my VPS details. Chat with the customer service is not working

I got my VPS and the resetting of the password of my client area. It is unfortunate. When a company trusted by its clients is facing a challenge, there might be a need to communicate. Nobody throws money on air. We are paying for a service, and we deserve that service

besides the subscriptions are quite expensive. on the popular subscription, only 1 meta terminal works, it works very hard. for about 12 hours vps is no longer accessible, the support has no answer or solution. no one answers. I can't access vps. to stop EA. some sleepy ones. stay away from them. there are many more efficient companies. I did not expect this from them. sin.

The VPS connectivity has been down for 10 hours already and still not solved. Support not even able to give any ETA and no workaround at all.

There is no better VPS service anywhere. Customer support is excellent. You pay a little bit more, but the level of service is worth it.

NYC servers have the best VPS its very fast and reliable and able to deliver the professional standard required when my money is on the line.
I've tried some others and I don't trust them to be reliable and fast enough to do the job required.
A top quality VPS will pay for itself in the results gained. A very helpful and prompt customer service ensures a seamless positive experience

I've been using NYC Servers for more than 4 years now and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a VPS.

Ideal for trading, only miliseconds away from most brokers.
Support is fabulous, even on Sundays I was never waiting long and got support.

Nick and the team were very helpful assisting with my VPS set-up. Response time on a query I had was super fast just like the VPS!
